Fab property, lovely size and well equipped. Mike was really informative and helpful. We had a fab stay and wouldnt hesitate to recommend. It could possibly do with a slightly larger fridge! But we had a brilliant time and would love to return.

Good fun .The farm house is gorgeous and we loved the hot tub.We couldn't find a dust pan and brush maybe the elves had it !! Otherwise all perfect

Was so pleased with our stay everything and more that we wanted for a relaxing break. Hot tub was a lovely touch . Surroundings were fantastic will definitely be booking again.
Fantastic property in a beautiful part of the country. Really couldnt fault it. Clean, comfortable and very spacious yet warm and cosy. Very well equipped kitchen making home cooking very easy. The hot tub was wonderful and even though it was chilly being November we used it every evening. Mike, the owner, was very helpful. Ideally situated for visiting Stoke on Trent, Matlock, Leek and other visitor attractions.

This is a beautiful place to stay. The house is lovely, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We really appreciated the hot tub which we used most days and was cleanedsorted out daily by Mike. Found the paddock really useful for letting our English Pointer have a good run. Mike is the perfect host. Very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.
Andrew
What an amazing farmhouse to have a wonderful relaxing break. The views are stunning. The attention to detail by Mike and his team at the property is outstanding. Every room in the house was spotlessly clean. The gardens are beautiful and theres a paddock to exercise your dog. The hot tub was used by us everyday and was cleaned each morning. We highly recommend a stay at The Farmhouse. We will definitely be returning.
Naheed
Great hospitality from the owner. Great experience overall.
Robert
A really good holiday cottage in a lovely rural setting with plenty of amenities and things to do in the local area. The cottage was plenty large enough for 8 of us and was comfortable and well appointed. The owner was on hand, very friendly and happy to help with any small issues that cropped up. The kitchen and dining equipment crockery, glasses etc. could have been slightly better but this didn't impact on our holiday at all. The hot tub was a real bonus and very well maintained. A very good property from which to enjoy the surrounding countryside.
Mike was the best host. He was helpful and made us feel at home. What an amazing and knowledgeable host. We definitely will return because of the hospitality that we received from Mike. Thank you Mike for your caring and knowledge, you definitely made our kids have an amazing stay!
We had a lovely weekend break. The farmhouse is lovely and the owner very helpful and on hand if you needed anything. We wished we had booked for longer.
A few basic provisions would be nice, there was no hand soap in most of the toilets, no cleaning sprays for kitchen. The only fridge for 8 people was an undercounter one we managed as such but others may not. Like i say these are only very minor faults but overall most things were great, there was an abundance of towels for everyone the hot tub was superb and plenty of room for all guests and everyone reported that the beds were comfy. Mike the owner was very helpful and welcoming we spent quite abit of time talking to him about his plans and projects for his 'small holding', we would definitely return at some point
Brenda
This was a wonderful holiday. Big, spacious farm house. Lots of room the the kids to run around. Great hot tub. Great books to read. Wonderfully large family bathroom lots of hot water. Warm house. A private location, stunning view.
Russell
We had a great stay with family, friends and 2 dogs. A lovely comfortable warm property with great views and fantastic sunsets. Mike was friendly and welcoming. The Talbot Inn is worth a visit for a meal.
Stephanie
Really lovely house in a lovely setting.
Outstanding place to stay, Mike the owner is a very nice guy and has built a special place for his guests to relax and do what they wish. Hot tub was a great extra and the views are amazing. So amazing we have decided to book again for 2023
Chelsea
Mike was an amazing host. He even helped put together by sons toy Dino car for Christmas. Such a great help and very friendly. Thank you for an amazing Christmas experience. The cottage was lovely. Thanks for having us Mike.
Beautiful, comfortable, warm accommodation we had everything we needed in a stunning location. Hot tub was cleaned daily by Mike, a very helpful and friendly owner. Really nice touch to have the heating and lights on when we arrived late evening. We all had a great time and would definitely return.
Great weekend with friends, place was lovely and Mike was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return!
Great place to stay lovely house and very friendly owner. We are old fashioned and can cook and like to cook. The kitchen needs to be far better equiped, other than that it's a great venue thank you Mick.
Daniel
Great location, superb views, postcode took you straight to the front door, on arrival Mike the owner introduced himself and was extremely friendly and helpful, any questions later on as soon as I phoned, he responded and dealt with it. The cottage felt cosy but spacious. Great weekend for 4 lads joint 50th thank you very much. Thank you to the owner, you made us all feel very much at home, I really enjoyed our chats, I found you really interesting
Corinne
Fantastic property exceptionally clean and Mike was a fantastic host very helpful would definitely recommend to others
Angela
Fabulous cottage in a lovely location. You couldn't get better views. Clean and well equipt with good facilities. Mike was very helpful and welcoming, nothing was any trouble. We were slightly worried that it didn't have an electric car charger, as advertised, but even with a fully electric car we managed no problem as there were so many local chargers around. There's lots to do in the local area, too much to fit into 1 week. Recommend Luds church, Biddulph grange, Trentham monkey forrest, Rudyard lake and Tittesworth reservoir. We had a great holiday and would more than happily go back.
The house was great. It was well equipped and was very nicely furnished. The location is great too. Generally very clean. Only things that could improve it were to have a few more glasses as most were plastic and drinking wine from a plastic cup isnt ideal!
Graham
When we walked into the house we all said wow. Beautiful property with lovely views and such a helpful friendly owner. House was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We were a family of eight with 3 dogs and we had plenty of room. Hot tub was brilliant we all used it even in the rain! Would definitely recommend it to others.
Justine
The Farmhouse was stunning with amazing views and the gardens were extremely well maintained and overall everything we had hoped for. It was remote but only a short drive to some fantastic walks and shops for any essentials. The host was on site and available to help if we needed it,
We stayed at the farmhouse at the beginning of April. The property was very clean and tidy and so felt welcoming. The owner was on hand at an appropriate distance to help with any queries. Our family were all impressed with the house layout and would return. We felt the site photos did not do the property justice. Secluded spot with Brilliant views, would recommend this property.
.We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was very well presented and comfortable, had a beautiful hot tub that was clean and well maintained by Mike the property owner who was extremely helpful and friendly . We managed to find some beautiful walks and fully recommend Rudyard Lake if you park at the station you can either walk to lake or towards Leek. A bit of information on walks in the area would of been helpful. We really enjoyed our stay end of march and will return.
Fantastic stay with friends for my partners 30th birthday. The owner was so friendly and facilitating! Hot tub is a lovely added feature. Beautiful surroundings our dog would have loved all the fields and walks! The cottage itself is really spacious for groups and also well equipped I did take things of our own but most of which we didnt use as it was already there! Overall, brilliant stay and would most definitely return!
Leanne
Wonder family trip away, the farm house had everything we needed, spacious, clean, amazing views, we didnt have the best weather but didnt affect our trip, the owner was very helpful but not intrusive, very friendly and always available to give information and great knowledge of the area. The hot tub was upto tempting arrival and ready to use on arrival, beautiful area to visit, looking forward to going back again, would love the back garden to be secured for dogs as the front is this but there are some slight low points of the wall, but still secured, had a fantastic stay
Location is isolated so peace and quiet is guaranteed, excellent views on a clear day. Front garden is small but enclosed for dogs to run around, the owner let us use the fields he owns for our dogs to run off lead. The owner lives on site and responds to any problems you may have he also pointed out Rudyard Lake 3 mile drive for a long walk Cottage was well equipped and comfortable for all 8 of us, hut tub was up to temperature on arrival and the owner showed us how to use this as soon as we arrived, smart tv with Netflix we enjoyed several films as a family, big table off the kitchen for meal time, we had 6 teenagers on the WiFi plus the TV and it didn't let them down. Bad points no stairgate available for toddlers or to stop dogs going upstairs and downstairs bedroom is noisy from creeky landing and bedroom above. We would definitely consider this place again for a relaxing get away.
Patrycja
Very lovely place to chilled up . Landlord very friendly and helpful.
The property was fabulous we stayed for 7 nights up to and over Xmas 3 family groups Inc 1 baby and 2 dogs. Well equipped, clean and the hot tub a bonus. Mike the owner was friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone we would definitely use it again for a large family group. Some nice walks in the area.

Alton Towers - ST10 4DB
about 13 Miles
Of course you can't mention attractions in Staffordshire without featuring the fabulous Alton Towers theme park.  The rides range from thrilling to quite simply terrifying although there are more gentle family rides for the little ones.  All ages are catered for here.  Some of the most famoue rides include Th13teen, Air, The Blade and Nemesis.  There is also a waterpark on site for some splashtastic fun. Look out for seasonal events taking place throughout the year such as Wonderful Winter, Pirate Weekend and The Ultimate Fireworks Event.  Check out their website for the latest admission costs and save money by booking your tickets online.
Peak District National Park -
about 19 Miles
The Peak District National Park is the ideal place to relax and explore.  The stunning scenery will take your breath away and there is the opportunity to take part in ranger led guides and events.  These are ideal if you are new to the area or only staying a short time and want to see the best sights and walks.
British Wildlife Rescue Centre - TN8 7AR
about 20 Miles
This is a really unique opportunity to see the fantastic work going on at this centre.  The purpose of the British Wildlife Rescue Centre is to treat and care for injured wildlife which cannot be released into the wild.  Many of the animals are brought to the centre by members of the public or the RSPCA.  Visit their website to see the picture gallery and to find out how to help if this is something which interests you.  There are also regular fundraising events such as the Sponsered Leg Wax.
Gullivers Kingdom - DE4 3NT
about 23 Miles
This is a top class theme park with plenty to do for the whole family.  From thrilling rides to more gentle activities for the little ones this place is ideal.  The best thing is that 50% of their attractions are under cover so the British weather needn't spoil the fun.
Go Ape Cheshire - WA16 6RW
about 23 Miles
Out of all of the Go Ape! courses the one in Cheshire is the most spread out and it takes staff ten minutes to patrol the site on bike - which gives a good indication of the size of this place.  If you're looking for an adventurous and memorable day out then Go Ape is highly recommended.  Trek through the treetops, swing between the trees and enjoy zip wire rides all as part of your experience.  This attraction opens every day from the end of March to end October and is open on weekends in November.  Go Ape Cheshire is closed every Tuesday except school holidays.
Heights of Abraham - DE4 3PT
about 23 Miles
This unique attraction combines an array of activities.  If you have a look on their website there are some good video clips which give an even better idea of what this attraction is all about.  Some of the highlights include the Cable Car system which is actually Britain's first alpine style cable car system.  You are transported from the valley floor right up above where you can enjoy superb Dewent Valley Views.  You can also stroll around 60 acres of wooded hillside on foot to see an array of birds and wildlife.
Gulliver's Kingdome - WA5 9YZ
about 23 Miles
Gulliver's Kingdome is a family friendly theme park offering many attractions for children of all ages. The site is rather unique and features a huge array of rides including log flumes, roller coasters and pirate ships. For the little ones there are rides such as the veteran cars and the balloon wheel and Diego and Dora the Explorer are on hand to make sure they are having a great time. Between the 21st and 31st of October the park becomes a spooky Halloween spectacular with a range of shows and fireworks to enjoy. Standard prices are £12.00 for adults and children over 90cm. Group booking discounts are available.
Gulliver's World Theme Park - WA5 9YZ
about 27 Miles
This is a very popular theme park with three different locations.  The theme park in Warrington contains not only the theme park but also Gullivers Splash Zone and Gullivers Star Studios.  The Solash Zone is a fully heated indoor water play factory fun for all ages which will appeal on rainy days.  Throughout the year there are seasonal events too such as the Halloween and Fireworks event taking place from 23rd to 31st October.  You can book online to save time and secure your tickets during busy periods.  Over 50% of the rides are actually under cover so you don't need to worry about the British weather spoiling the fun.
