The property was beautifully appointed and maintained. We had everything we could have wished for and Zoe was super friendly and helpful.

Excellent property well equipped , large kitchen all gadgets ,games room and jacuzzi. Log burner optional as fully central heated . Very clean and welcome pack for us on arrival.Christmas decorations awaiting us which was a great touch . Brilliant, would recommend I would give it five stars any day

Wow what a superb holiday home. So comfortable and spotless. Very well equipped. Spacious rooms. Lovely hot tub and garden. Lots of treats and extras which made it very special and welcoming. Quiet location and close to Scarborough.. Highly recommended. We will certainly return here. We have stayed in many cottages ,this is one of the best .

Castle View had everything we needed to enjoy a fabulous week away with family and our two dogs. The hot tub was amazing and was a real bonus considering the weather! The property was decorated in a Halloween theme and we were left with some nice goodies on our arrival which were all nice touches. It was a great location both for access to Scarborough and for the views. We came away for my 50th birthday celebrations and would love to come back in the future.

We had a lovely holiday and the location of the house was great with easy access to the coast and countryside too The hot tub was a great addition however the house itself looks tired and there were a number of maintenance issues that need addressing the heating never got hot the main bathroom had no heat at all until my husband bled the radiator then it was just aired the log burner was not set for our arrival and was impossible to set and light with no kindling or lighter matches the oven door would not close properly the dishwasher was unpredictable and sometimes did not clean the pots so had to hand wash them Im sure these are simple fixes but because of these issues we would not return.

Small maintenance issues being addressed and other than that the accommodation is very clean and cared for. Hot tub immaculately clean and well maintained. Garden is large and well furnished amd maintained. Larger than average property for this price range. Plenty of areas for the familly to be together or break out into.

We had a lovely stay at Castle View. The house is spacious with everything you could need for your stay. Its in a quiet area so we could relax after a day out and about . The addition of the games room was a bonus as was the large garden and of course the hot tub

Fantastic property for a family holiday in an excellent location, would not hesitate to book this accomodation again, wouldn't change a thing about this property as all needs are catered for.

Such a lovely holiday home, we had a lovely relaxing stay. Lots for the children to do and enough space for the whole family. Bedrooms were a lovely size and beds very comfortable. Garden was amazing and the little one loved the climbing frame and us grown ups loved the hot tub. We would definitely stay again.

This was a fabulous property in a great location. The house itself was beautiful, well maintained, immaculate and every little detail was well thought out. It was very spacious and quiet. We would over ro come back as there sre so many things nearby that we did not manage to fit in nearby.

We loved the house, it had everything you could need. Took advantage of the games room and hot tub. The owners were lovely and the cake and bread on arrival were much appreciated. All the party has said they would stay again!

Fantastic house, very comfortable, great location, very peaceful. Zoe was very kind and makes sure you have everything you need for a pleasant stay. The additional welcome packs , fresh breadcakes and flowers were a great treat & a nice touch, would definitely recommend & we will hopefully return in the future

Can't fault it. Very thoughtfully planned for a family holiday. A nice gamesroom and a lovely garden. Super kitchen and diner with everything you could need, and the cake and bread were a lovely touch. Everything was spotlessly clean. Weather was cold during our visit but there are plenty of pet farms, and the Dalby Forest is not far away and great for kids with the Gruffolo trail and Enchanted Wood.

Just returned from a weeks stay at Castle view, 2 X couples and 2 X dogs the property is Astounding , the kitchen, Dining room and bedrooms are very spacious. The living room is spacious and has a smart TV now which is great 3 settees, and with a bit of imagination and rearranging all can enjoy the TV as its on the chimney breast. However we did not need to watch TV much as the garden is too tempting to sit in and we were blessed with fabulous weather. The Hot tub is amazing and the owners check the quality of the water to ensure its safe use. The local pub serves quality food just under a miles walk away and is dog friendly. The three Jolly Sailors All the Bedrooms have quality furnishings and the towels are fluffy and plenty. This property gives you the best of both coastal and country walks to enjoy and the local supermarket 2.5 miles away Proudfoots Stock everything you need. The garden in a morning is full of bird song and is south facing so you can appreciate the sun most of the day into early evening. A 1010 property and we would like to thank Zoe the owner and her family for this extra special property. The only thing I would suggest which is very small is a retractable washing line as the weather was so good, you could dry your hot tub swim wear and hot tub towels, and a small attachment to the cold tap outside with a sprinkler would ensure rinsing the dogs off Zoe did give us the combination to access the hose pipe but if one was attached on a small pipe this would benefit all dog owners You will not be disappointed if you choose castle view for your holiday family get away it is without a doubt stunning. Had a fantastic time in a fantastic home. Plenty of scenic walks, close to all local amenities but yet very peaceful and relaxing, especially the hot tub on a evening after a busy day exploring. Had a great holiday and even got a sun tan. Perfect.

Lovely house, however a safety gate at the top of the 4 steps leading to the games room & outside door would be better as we had a 1 year old with us. Everything else was perfect.

Had a lovely stay, very spacious house and secure garden,nice and clean inside with comfortable beds,the kids enjoyed the hot tub and games room,lots to do in the area,if like me you like walking then broxa forest is just at the top of the hill,raincliff woods about 20 mins away, Scarborough and filey within easy reach,thanks for the welcome pack goodies,hope to book again soon.

We stayed at Castle View over Christmas. The house was lovely decorated with Christmas decorations. The location of the house is spot on! The property is stunning! The beds were so comfy! Everything from start to finish was lovely. We had lots of laughs in the hot tub and playing tabletop football. I would definitely recommend Castle View and would love to return one day!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful spacious home allowing us to enjoy family time together. The owners have thought out everything and the special little extras were much appreciated and a welcoming touch. Just a short drive away from the coast and the views from the upstairs windows of scarborough castle and the sea are lovely. A lovely big garden for the children and fur babies to enjoy which is secure. Very relaxing holiday. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful clean house everything you need, a bottle of Prosecco and chocolate fudge cake on arrival was a lovely touch, the owners are very nice. Hot tub was used every night,we had family fun and laughter in the games room. A beautiful garden which the dogs enjoyed. And just a 5 minute drive into Scarborough, Bridlington n Filey close to hand. Will definitely book again.

This is a beautiful property and the owners have thought of everything to make a pleasant holiday. The home is well equipped and the hot tub well maintained. The garden is lovely to sit in and again well maintained. In a nice quiet area but within east reach of many areas and restaurants. The dog welcome pack and treats was a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and loved the property and would definitely recommend and would certainly book this property again

We had a very pleasant stay st Castle View. The house has every amenity you could ask for. The owners left a welcome pack which was very much appreciated. The location was quiet but only 10 minutes from all the attractions Scarborough has to offer. We had a fantasic family holiday.

A comfortable and well equipped property, which was spotlessly clean. I agree with a previous reviewer that a gate would be useful at the top of the steps down to the conservatory, but we came up with our own solution. Situated on a quiet lane. We made good use of the hot tub and garden and the children had fun on the slide. A lovely place to spend a family holiday very handy for all the facilities in Scarborough. Thanks to the Jenkins family.

Our family had a lovely holiday at Castle View. It was very well equipped and very clean. The enclosed garden was great for the kids and the dog. The hot tub was great for all of us!!

Beautiful house in a lovely quiet location yet within a max of half an hours drive to Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby and within walking distance of nice walks and pubs. Beds really comfy, showers great, plenty of room. Loved the hot tub and garden, which is very secure if you are taking a dog. If taking toddlerselderly dogs there are steps from decking to garden which you can see on photos but we managed with our old dog. A big thank you for the welcome treats much appreciated x Would definitely recommend staying here oh and the 3 sailors pub within walking distance. Thank you x

All the bedding was immaculate clean and new The house was lovely and clean fantastic large Hottub, small games room for kids , verry safe garden if you have children Loved our time there Thank you

Fantastic holiday home. Lovely touches of chocolate cake bubbles and Easter eggs on our arrival. House was very clean and well presented. Plenty of room for our family of six adults a toddler and a dog. Great area to stay with easy access to all the local amenities. We made good use of the hot tub and play room and our granddaughter loved the new slide. Only slight downside was the open staircase of four steps from the dining room down to playroom and access to garden which was a bit of an issue with a toddler. This wasnt mentioned on the description and if we had realised we would have brought our stair gate which would have been a little safer than placing a couple of dining chairs across the entrance. But that said we would all definitely return and re book and recommend this property. Thank you to the owners for a wonderful stay.

An amazing place to holiday. 8 of us came for a nice girly weekend. The house is gorgeous, comfy beds, good showers, lush log burner, and the hot tub was fab we spent a lot of time in there! Bottle of fizz, a gorgeous choc cake and bread were left for us, lovely touch. We went into Scarborough one evening for a meal. We are looking to book again in November it was so good and so reasonable. Thank you Zoe and family we will be back x
