Carolyn
Wonderful quirky property in a great location. Lovely spaces for all to come together but also loads of quiet and beautiful nooks for everyone to find their own space. This is our first in town cottage and it worked brilliantly with our now grown kids - things to do on foot from the doorstep but the house and garden are so well screened that you fe el away from it all once you close the door. Shout out to owner Caroline who made us feel so welcome and was an absolute local guru!
Jane
Excellent location and good amount of space
Melanie
Stayed with 8 adults to celebrate a 60th birthday. House is lovely & in a great location. Was very clean throughout. The owner was very approachable & could be reached easily if any problems. Had a wonderful stay.
Diane
Excellent high quality cottage, very well equipped. Quiet but central location with 10min walk into town. Would highly recommend.
Ian
We really enjoyed the holiday in a fab location within Richmond. We did find it a little difficult with little ones being over 3 floors but that equally allowed some handy separation for the kids at bed times. We had a really lovely family holiday and found plenty to do, the weather was also kind which always helps. The owners were extremely helpfu l and really bent over backwards to ensure we had what we needed...lovely memories for summer 2022. Many thanks.
Andrea
Our stay was brilliant very comfortable. Lots of room.
Sarah
Amazing cottage, so well equipped. The host Caroline has thought of absolutely everything. We found the cottage to be very clean and in an excellent location with only a 2 minute walk into the centre of Richmond. Our one and only negative would be that the garden was not ideal for crawling/toddling babies, we couldnt really relax as there is a very low wall with a pretty significant drop at the other side. This however would not deter us from staying again.
Paul
Myself, Partner and grown up children with their respect Partners stayed for a week at O.H. We were celebrating my 70th birthday. We had a great week and the weather was fantastic. This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire.  Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour.  You will have the chance to bottle feed the lambs, bath a pig and handle some of the smaller animals.  Kids will love the big sandpit and the outdoor play area. There is also a cafe and indoor play area for when the weather is not on your side.

Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family.  The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower.  For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel.  Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too.  If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.
