The owners were very friendly and helpful. During our stay, it was very quiet with a fantastic view across the fields. The hot tub and garden were nice with comfortable outside seating provided. Inside the property the furnishings & equipment were pretty basic but everything worked as it should. The only negative for us was that on arrival the cups , glasses, cutlery, oven and microwave were in a dirty state and the carpets and furniture had been left covered with muddy paw prints and dog hair.

Property had everything you need. Had an enclosed back garden space which was really important for us to let the kids and dog run free. The hot tub was lovely and has Bluetooth so was nice to play music. It is located 15 mins away from the city of Lincoln and you wouldn't even know it. There is a public footpath nearby to take dog, mainly walking t hrough crops. However, a 5 min drive away to Hanworth country park was a lovely walk for dog and play park for kids. Owners are lovely and friendly.

We had a great time. Loads of places to take the kids a short drive away including Rand Farm and Wolds Animal Wildlife Park as well as Lincoln Castle and Cathedral. Beautiful view over the wheat field in the hot tub and from the cottage. Andy was a lovely host who went above and beyond for us as the other cottage was free so he let us have the key to give our little ones a bath. We would recommend and its great value for a term time holiday. Thank you

Lovely clean and tidy cottage .Owners friendly and helpful only downside you have to drive to pub none in walking distance and seaside about 50 min drive but country side is beautiful.Also have a beautiful views over the countryside from garden. Would stay here again.

We had a great time staying at the cottage. It is modern, clean and spacious and has a great hot tub. The hosts were lovely and were happy for us to check in late. It is situated on the side of a field which made for lovely views. The backyard is secure for small dogs and we didn't need to worry about our dog escaping and she could roam freely and was very happy . Overall we would definitely recommend

This cottage is set in a peaceful area and has a brilliant hot tub. It states on web site that it has a washing machine but in fact it does not tho was offered the use of a washing machine in and empty cottage. There is no iron or ironing board. The chairs in lounge area and one side of the sofa do not recline as the handles were broken. Owner said that he was waiting on new handles.! There are no bedside tables in either bedroom which would be handy. Bathroom is a bit tired. Great shower tho.

If you want time away from the modern life, book here !! The cottage is superb! What an amazing shower, plenty of hot water. The hot tub is a major plus. The views over the surrounding fields so peaceful ! We are already looking to book again. Thank you Andrew.

We had an amazing stay. The property is wonderful. Close to small towns and the city of Lincoln and once back at the cottage it felt like you were a million miles away. The owner was extremely helpful and always on hand if we needed him. There were some great walks for the dog and the kids loved the hot tub. We are already thinking of booking again for next year

Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love. There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls. Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too. A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature. Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel! If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.

Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL

Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all. From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for. Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster. Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand. Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.

The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY

about 28 Miles

Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families. In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience. Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats. The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things. We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too. We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
