Florence Cottage Reviews

Siobhan
Lovely and very convenient location. The house provided everything we needed for a one week stay - the jacuzzi was a nice luxury, and beds were really comfortable. Some minor issues with cleaning and equipment not working. We felt it was on the pricier end for similar stays we have done.
Salliann
We enjoyed our stay - cottage was in a perfect location- so close to town with range of independent shops and places to eat. Recommend the self guided walk around the town. Weather was so hot that we did not have opportunity to use hot tub! A great stay.
Hayley
Lovely property, definitely has the wow factor. Great location for shops, cafes, restaurants and walks and was very peaceful. Secure garden gave us peace of mind. Fab hot tub. Would definitely recommend.
Andrew
A beautiful location with lovely cottage that we really enjoyed. We stayed in Jacksons cottage which from the garden overlooks a farmers field with sheep and lambs very quiet and relaxing exactly what we needed. Hot tub was a Bonus and we made good use of it. The Chipping Camden shops, pubs and takeaway restaurants are just a short walk, all of the pubs are dog friendly. The Cottage is decorated to a very high standard with a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, & Large Smart TV. Well be back
Martin
Perfect location, some great gadgets including a lovely hottub, but some basics missing and the beds uncomfortable.
Michael
A beautiful cottage. Good location. Nice flat walk to the beautiful village. Nice enclosed garden.
Ben
Beautiful property in a absolutely perfect location. Hot tub was very good quality as were the appliances in the cottage. Unfortunately coffee machine was missing even though pods were available and some minor cleaning disappointments which for the rating of the property/ price should have been better but overall a great stay and would recommend.
Anne
Absolutely lovely, Chipping Campden is a beautiful little village, staying in this cottage was perfect, you'll find everything you'll need for a lovely stay, would certainly recommend. As we stayed over Christmas we received a card, a box of chocolates and a bottle of bubbly, a lovely touch, thank you.
Michael
A superb well equipped cottage. A short walk into the centre of Chipping Campden. It provides everything one needs for a perfect stay.
Elizabeth
Well stocked cottage with excellent appliances. Beautiful location.
Vanessa
Amazing location - walking distance to centre of Chipping Camden yet very quiet. Very comfortable house with good quality fittings. Possibly over priced compared to other properties sleeping four.
Michelle
Gorgeous cottage in a fantastic quiet location. Surrounded by beautiful countryside. Pros - slippers, dressing gown, power shower, separate towels for hot tub, plenty of hangers, molten and brown toiletries, hot tap outside, log burner would be great in winter and under floor heating. Agent was very helpful during our stay . Only 5 minutes into tow n via pathway through Cotswold hotel garden. Many fantastic places to eat - Huxley our favourite. Comfortable beds and sofas. Very dog friendly
Caroline
Very comfortable, well equipped and clean.
Katie
I lovely cottage in a great location. Would definitely recommend. Nice modern contemporary decor with good facilities. Great for exploring the area and a 10 minute walk into the town centre.
Lisa
Lovely modern cottage in a beautiful setting. The property was well looked after and fully equipped for our stay. I would happily recommend the cottage, and the owners very detailed instructions for our stay.
Karie
Lovely area to walk around, and hot tub & fire were great. Loved the Molten Brown hand soap & lotion in the bathrooms. Very nice TV and full sized fridge & freezer are perfect! Cottage let down by: not enough pans to cook for 4 people (1 small fry pan & 2 pots), dishwasher ran cold cycle only so had to hand wash, microwave was integrated in oven an d didnt work well, & cottage wasnt 100% clean: a used mask in the hot tub and outdoor bin still had cigarettes & poo bags from previous renters.
Lee
Amazing location, lovely decor, great size for two couples. A short walk to the village and also near to many lovely walks nearby some of which information is available in the property. Ordered food from the Maharaja one evening and I would highly reccomend this as was lovely. Also the service and food in the 8 bells was lovely. Also I forgot my su itcase and had to travel back the management company helped me retrieve it without a problem. Would highly reccomend.
Janet
Beautiful new build cottage, very well done in keeping with the surroundings. We loved the hot-tub and garden, nice furniture to sit on and enjoy the view and wildlife. Dressing gown and slippers provided. Very comfy beds and sofas, huge smart TV in lounge and views out to garden from both kitchen and lounge. Village very pretty, short walk to many nice eateries, we were spoilt for choice. Excellent base for visiting Broadway and it's tower, Stratford and our favourite , Blenheim Palace.

Avon Leisure Cruises offer a relaxing way to spend an afternoon exploring the beautiful river and the sites all around it. The trips have commentary to point out places of historical importance and interest and are educational as well as fun. During school holidays the area is very popular with tourists and with families and daily activities can be enjoyed.
Spetchley Park and Gardens - WR5 1RS
about 18 Miles
Spetchley Park and Gardens in Worcestershire are the perfect place for a day trip all year round. During the summer months the gardens are really at their best with beautiful displays of flora and fauna. Many families choose to bring a picnic and there are several picnic tables in the grounds. The deer park is also a big hit with children as well as grown ups. The onsite tea room serves tasty sandwiches and cakes and uses local produce where possible.
Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens - OX18 4JP
about 19 Miles
This has to be one of the most popular days out in Oxfordshire and is sure to appeal to nature lovers, animal lovers and keen gardeners.  Families and couples will enjoy wandering around this amazing park with a wide variety of mammals and birds to see as well as reptiles. Some of the most popular animals are the Burrowing Owl, Dexter Cow, African Pancake Tortoise and the Bar Headed Goose.  Check out their website for the latest admission costs and special offers.
Catanger Llama Trekking - NN12 8LJ
about 29 Miles
This is a really unique attraction and certainly worth a visit in our opinion.  Established in 1995 and situated in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside this attraction will appeal to those looking for something a little different.  You can't ride the animals but you can trek alongside them and enjoy the fantastic scenery.  From farm tracks to country lanes the gentle animals will carry your rucksack for you along the way.  There are personally guided treks available all year round and you will have your own Llama for the trek.
