We had a great stay at Cut Moch, a lovely home from home with everything we needed. The scenery and walks were amazing especially the view at the top of the Gryn. We will definitely have Cut Moch on our list of places to return to
A brilliant place, immaculately clean, good variety of utensils, hot tub great ... A brilliant place, immaculately clean, good variety of utensils, hot tub great for star gazing, garden very secure for 2 boxers, beautiful relaxing 5star booking
Lovely little cottage in a beautiful part of Wales! ! Owners are really friendly and helpful. Nice touches left on arrival. Lovely fields across the road for walking the dog. The only downside for us was that it wasnt as privatesecluded as hoped with their other cottages. Still enjoyed our stay though.
Brilliant stay . The eggs, milk and Welsh cakes were a lovely touch and enjoyed them very much . Took our greyhound and was nice and secure for him. Did a lovely walk at the back of the farmhouse was a bit tough on the legs but worth it when you see the spectacular views from the top. The log burner was used and was lovely and cosy after coming in from the hottub. Will be booking to go back next year would highly recommend .
The property was absolutely beautiful and incredibly clean. We had a really peaceful stay, and our puppy enjoyed herself too! We'd definitely visit again.

We have just returned from a week here. What a beautiful place to stay, the views are stunning, perfect for star gazing. Our dog Mia loved the walks around and was safe in the garden giving one less worry, and one happy pooch. The hot tub in the garden is perfect especially to relax after long days out. The property was clean and homely. With little treats for our arrival even for our dog. There is a folder they have put together with history of the property and farm, how to use things In the house, the best bit is all the information on surrounding walks and places to see, which we made use of. The owners have really put their heart and sole into this and are easily contactable for any need. A special thank you to Rachel the housekeeper who we briefly met as we left, she found a couple of items of clothing we had left, she messaged me within a couple of hours of leaving and posted them back the same day. We would definalty come back here and would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you so much for giving us the perfect week away. The Johnsons x

The perfect cosy Welsh holiday with our dog! We absolutely loved the cottage it was lovely and clean and we were also able to check in early which was great Thank you. The area was beautiful and you really are out in the countryside in the middle of beautiful scenery. We did 5 nights and would definitely do longer as we felt right at home & will visit again in the future. I couldnt recommend this cottage enough for a doggy holiday, Thankyou for the treats he loved them. We recommend Barmouth beach, Pistyll waterfall & Llangollen for days out all with in reach if you have a car. 5 for this lovely stay.
Michael

Bridgit
Excellent quality cottage with everything youll need for your stay including a gas bbq. The views are amazing and sitting on the hot tub in the evenings was so relaxing. Lovely to have fresh eggs, milk and Welsh cakes on arrival.
Cristina
We and our dog had an incredibly relaxing week at the beautifully restored Cut Moch cottage. It was comfortable, sparkling clean and well equipped. It is in a great location for various surrounding places to visit as well as having some good walks stepping out of the door. The views from every window of the cottage are amazing! We would definitely recommend it and we are planning to go back soon.
Beatrice
A lovely little cottage in the depths of the beautiful Welsh countryside. Everything was in good order, well maintained and very comfortable. The cottage is well equipped and had everything that we needed for a relaxing week, including lots of useful guidance on where to visit eat locally. Lovely to find a place so welcoming to families with a dog! Thank you for a wonderful stay. X
Leslie
We have done saycations for years and this has to be one of the best places we have stayed absolutely perfect for dogs with fenced garden as we have 2 snauzers that are very inquisitive and like to explore this was one of the requirements we needed for peace of mind. The property itself was brilliant, comfortable and had everything needed for a great stay so will definatly be back soon. Owners are lovely people and can't do enough for you during your stay not that we needed anything as everything is there for you so thankyou again for a wonderful stay..
Although we were staying to attend a funeral further north, the little barn enabled us to relax enough that we didn't know what day it was while we were there! It had everything we needed and more. The bathrooms are luxury and, so rarely found when away from home, the showers were 'A'mazing! A lot of thought has gone into renovating the barns which felt more like home than just a place to stay. The added bonus of a hot tub was put to daily use. The owners are fabulous people who make you feel like friends rather customers. We were lucky enough to meet Freddie, their collie. Sadly they wouldn't let us take him home
The cottage was stunning, it was actually much bigger than I expected. The place was spotless, and the features and fittings in the cottage were to a high standard. The location is incredible, its quiet with amazing views. Check in and out is easy and very convenient. Would definitely use this place again in the future and recommend to others
Had a lovely time , lovely cottage and very clean . Lovely views , loved watching the sheep and their lambs in the field , Ollie and Lizzie 2 greyhounds loved it , would definitely love to go back and would definitely recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was really clean. The beds were really comfortable. There was lots of information leaflets, games and books. Everything was there for a relaxing stay. We loved watching the sheep and their lambs in the field across the road. My dogs had a great time. Loved that there was a doggy blanket and some treats. We didnt really go to far afield as mother in law is 80 and not in the best of health, but that didnt matter as the views all around were absolutely beautiful. Well worth a visit. We all loved our break away.
Second time we've stayed at this property and we love the decor, layout and facilities the property has. Only a couple of small niggles in that we noticed the same lightbulb in the lounge wasn't working as our first visit and the main bedroom door sticks when openingclosing it. Otherwise, property appears wellmaintained and we love the tranquil area and proximity to good walks and trails.
We had a lovely week at Cut Moch, the views are amazing and we had the privilege of seeing the lovely lambs which were beginning to be born. Some beautiful countryside surrounding the cottage with NT properties Chirk Castle and Erddig been fairly close to and lots of places to walk. Nice and safe for our escape artist Border Terrier. The cottage was spotless and warm with the underfloor heating, we were able to wash our clothes and dry them with ease. Not something we normally do but as the weather was wet and we did some pretty muddy walks, it helped. It is private and you are not troubled by being overlooked given that there are 2 other properties on site plus the farmhouse. The first couple of days we were able to walk in the field opposite the cottage this is available along with Gyrn Moelfre the mountain behind the house, but the sheep in lamb were moved to that field in the middle of the week and we felt it would be wrong to walk in the field in view of the lambs and we didn't want our dog upsetting them. We would certainly like to return and missing it very much right now!!
We had a lovely weekend in a beautiful cottage in picturesque surroundings. The cottage was lovely, nice & clean , good facilities lots of little touches were provided for plus some lovely treats! It had snowed for a few days beforehand which made it even more special the log burner and hot tub were definitely utilised
Suzanne
We booked here for my 40th birthday and I couldnt have wished for anything better. All the personal touches welcoming us to the cottage was so lovely, their was Prosecco and chocolate on the door step waiting for us to arrive and the note with eggs and cakes and not forgetting Luna our dog who got treats and a blanket. The cottage was just amazing and the underfloor heating was fab actually gutted being back home and got the holiday blues the minute we left. Will definitely be returning as the place was gorgeous and the hosts were fantastic. Thank you for making my 40th birthday so special and one to remember
Me wife and dog had such an amazing experience and loved everything about the place and the owners. Will definitely be booking again. Didn't want to come home. Thanks alot Mr and Mrs clements
Jennifer
Beautiful property and stunning views. The property was everything we needed and well definitely be coming back. Thank you for such a lovely stay
Rachel
This is our 2nd stay here and we just love it. The location and how quiet it is, the facilities and the high standard of renovation love its history & all the photos of what it previously looked like the owners are welcoming, friendly but keep distance to allow you to holiday. Our daughter loves the hot tub thats a big hit! Were be back for a 3rd visit soon we love it that much.
Cherry
Amazing stay, couldn't have asked for a better place to forget the troubles of the world for a bit. Very cosy cottage which was immaculate and beautifully converted, hot tub was the perfect way to unwind, great surrounds for hiking, peaceful and quiet, great for the dog too!
Natalie
The barn itself has been built to a very high standard and the interior design is gorgeous. Under floor heating kept us cosy, and the log burner added a perfect touch. We got extremely lucky with the weather which was originally scheduled for rain but instead we had sunshine all weekend so didnt need to use the burner much. We received a welcome pack and so did our pup which included a little blanket so he could hop up on the sofa with us for a cuddle. We fully utilised the hot tub at every chance we could, in the evenings we turned all the barn lights off along with the hot tub lights and looked up at the stars, its was beautiful and we saw 2 shooting stars! The facilities in the barn are perfect, lots of cutlery and cooking utensils there wasnt anything additionally that we needed. Oh and the mattresses on the bed are bloody wonderful! We had such a lovely sleep each night which was just what we needed after all the walking we done! We visited the waterfalls which were breath taking, and walked to the top of the mountain behind the barn to watch the sunset. The barn location is very isolated which was exactly what we wanted, a hidden gem in what felt like the middle of nowhere! Only 2 other barns and the main house surround you, but the barn has been very well secluded around the hot tub area so you feel very comfortable. Cannot fault this barn at all, it was simply perfect hats off to the owners, they have done a fantastic job! A
The shower in the main bedroom we werent able to adjust the temperature. Also could have done with a mop and bucket to clean the floor after our 2 dogs
We had a fantastic stay at Cut Moch. The peace, wildlife and scenery are stunning. Close enough to pubs and Oswestry for shops but far enough away from anywhere for complete relaxation. The property is fitted out to a high spec, the hot tub is a great spot for star spotting in dark shies. The field to the front and mountain behind are yours to roam. We will certainly be returning! Loved it!
Anthony
Amazing week away, so peaceful. Owners were around when we arrived so were able to give us a quick walk through and tips on where to go and best way with directions. A lovely couple, so helpful. The cottage was perfect, plenty room for us 2 adults, 1 15 year old and 2 dogs, especially dogs in the enclosed secure garden. Hot tub was fantastic and the weather just made it even better. A must see is the waterfall which is a short drive, we took the dogs which they also loved. Milk, eggs and Welsh biscuits when we arrived which we though was a nice little touch especially since we hadn't had time tok shop yet. In our view there was no negative points, and absolutely perfect getaway for my girlfriend's birthday. Pure relaxation!! Top marks for cottage and owners. Thank you.
We had a wonderful stay the location was so beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by fields. The owner was friendly and very helpful. The cottage was very well appointed, beds super comfortable and we made good use of the hot tub! The dogs enjoyed exploring the mountain and fields right from the cottage door. Be prepared to drive lots of narrow lanes but the scenery is fabulous. We visited Lake Bala on the steam train which was a lovely day out, Llangollen, Barmouth beach and the Rhiwargor waterfall at Lake Vyrnwy. Had a super time thank you!
Kathryn
We had a fantastic time at this gem of a cottage. There were lots of wonderful touches, not a lot had been missed. It was a real home from home. Welcoming and comfortable, and finished to a great standard. If I had anything to mention and I'm really splitting hairs here, the cereal bowls were tiny, and there were no plastic cups as mentioned in the hot tub rules we just bought our own cups. An issue with the hot tub was resolved within 15 minutes our fault. We just loved it all, and the dogs loved the garden, mesmerised by the sheep next door.
Philip
This was a very good property with friendly and helpful onsite hosts Gwyn and Lowry to sort out the minor queries we had during the week. Property was clean, well maintained and equipped to the standard we have come to expect booking through the cottage company. Private access to the hill overlooking the farm 523m Gyrn Moelfre and its MTB runs down was a big attraction as well as the hot tub and open country views.
Ashleigh
We had a lovely time at Cut Moch! We visited as a couple with our two doggies and had a fantastic week exploring Wales for the first time. The cottage has lots of places to visit which are within a short drive away, but we also ventured further up to the coast at Rhyl. The welcome gifts were very much appreciated, we'd recommend a trip to the shop just down the road for more Welsh cakes, as these were delicious! The cottage was very comfortable, the couch is different to the pictures and is much better! We had plenty of room for the four of us, and throws were provided so that the dogs could cuddle in on the sofa. Everything in the cottage is of quality and provided to a high standard. We felt there was a couple of items in the kitchen that would have made practicality easier, such as normal size cereal bowls, plastic cups for hot tub etc but we managed just fine! The underfloor heating was a massive bonus as we took advantage of the washing machine after muddy walks, so were able to dry our clothes very easily by having the heating on in just one room only. The hot tub was a very welcome addition after long walks through the day! It is a good size that would easily fit 4. You can tell that the hot tub is well maintained, it was very clean which was reassuring as we've stayed elsewhere previously where this has been a concern. We had an issue with the electrics in the kitchen one night, and we had a solution within 5 minutes of messaging the property owners! I couldn't fault their response at all with this, they made sure we were still able to access everything we needed and had a repair completed the next morning. They were on hand for anything at all that we needed, which was much appreciated. Overall the cottage was immaculate and felt very homely. There are a couple of bits that will need attended to soon limescale in kettle and on shower head in en suite, but these are expected over time and very easily maintained. We'd love to come back and do more exploring of Wales! Thank you for a lovely stay.
Lovely two night break at Cut Moch cottage. The owners were very welcoming and helpful with everything. On arrival we realised our request for cot and high chair had not been received by them but after a phone call the items arrived in just a few minutes. We also had a bowl of fresh eggs, milk and some flapjacks provided. The cottage was warm, cosy and comfortable, beds were so comfy too. Hot tub was lovely as well. Great place, lovely hosts, lovely views over their farmland full of sheep, new born lambs and pheasants. Would definitely visit again.
Hilary
A lovely property as are all 3 of the cottages. Clean , comfortable, warm. Gorgeous location for walking, dog friendly. The owners Lowry and Gwyn are friendly and helpful. We will return .
We've had a lovely stay. We were provided with everything needed. Highly recommended
Nicola
Anazing place to stay, it gad everything we wanted. We'll definitely be back.
We had a wonderful Christmas break, with amazing views on your doorstep. The cottage had everything we could have needed and more. The hot tub was a big win with the kids and being able to bring our dogs along was perfect. We will surely be back in the future.
Kirsty
Felt very welcome and loved how friendly they were and would come back next year
