Ideal for a fantastic family holiday if youre looking for a nice peaceful location. Not too far from decent pubs and a short drive to Wrexham and Shrewsbury.Very nice property. G Graham.
Kenneth
Excellent property. Dont follow the Satnav, it will take you down ridiculously narrow country roads with few passing places. Go via Chirk village. Friendly hosts and the finest kitchen/dining area we have seen. Highly recommended, keep your eyes open for the property, no name on the gate!
Pauline
Amazing house in a beautiful location. Fabulous throughout, kitchen, fully equipped. The girls enjoyed the swing down by the river and the hot tub on an evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our week. We visited Llangollen, Oswestry and Ellesmere The girls enjoyed horse riding at Spring Hill Riding School and would recommend the 2 hour hack. Fiona was a w onderful host and on hand if we needed anything. This holiday was five star and would highly recommend. We will definitely be returning.

What a lovely house! Modern & spacious with all the amenities you'd need for a break in the countryside. Very stylish all round, the underfloor heating was great and the beds were super comfy. Lovely hanging cocoon chair and a reading nook made nice features. Ample parking and huge grounds too. Hot tub positioned right near the door so a very short hop back inside! Very considerate and helpful owners. Would definitely stay again!
Ann
A wonderful house for our family half-term break. Plenty of space, the hot tub was a daily treat for the children in the mornings and adults after dark watching the night sky and shooting stars! Access to the surrounding fields and river was a bonus for kite flying, skimming stones and treasure hunting! Very happy memories!
Lisa

We stayed at Lambourne house for a short family break in February . The setting was absolutely beautiful overlooking a field leading down to a river. On arrival we were met by a lovely lady, Anne, who showed us round the property. The house itself was stunning - warm, welcoming and equipped with everything you may need. The hot tub was perfect! Sit ting in the tub listening to the pheasants and other wildlife- what more could you want! Thank you, we would love to come back.
Laura
We loved our stay!!! its so nice to have a house with enough space for us all to relax. We will be back in the summer!!
Jacqueline
A beautiful inviting home which is finished to a very high standard. We took a dog and although the garden isnt fenced the garden / field is vast providing good roaming opportunities. Opposite a farm which is owned by the family and a shepherds hut down in the field which is rented out. If youre unsure whether to book, go for it! The views from the back bedrooms are a dream.. the shepherds hut can be rented to give an extra bedroom if needed or if you wanted complete privacy!
Paul
Lambourne House. Totally amazing. Top quality and furnished to a very high standard. Bedrooms very large and comfortable. Location is very remote down twisting winding roads which can be a bit treacherous if vehicles coming other way. But thats why we chose its remote location to escape. Llangollen and Chirk great to visit. Hosts excellent and frie ndly. Hot tub and views of river n valley amazing. Thanks Fiona, Anne and Will.

Stayed with family and friends for new year. The property had everything we needed and plenty of room for cooking/entertaining and relaxing. Hot tub very relaxing. We walked into Chirk - took about 40 mins but very manageable. The road was unlit but quiet. Owner nearby and ready to help if needed - kindly posted our remote which we left at the prop erty. Would definitely recommend.

Lambourne house is absolutely beautiful and situated in such idyllic settings. The property was spotless. Fiona went above and beyond for us, even checking our hot tub was upto temp on Christmas Day itself. The fresh milk from their farm was a lovely touch too.Every single thing was thought of even to the house being dressed for Christmas which I h adnt expected. All the finer details of the property was lovely as well as all the baby calves our children got to meet. Will be back soon x

The most beautiful house equipped and furnished to an exceptional standard none of us wanted to leave! Everything is perfect, the most amazing kitchen, gorgeous sitting room, great bedrooms (with top quality beds and bedding).
