Lea Farm House Reviews

Joanne
We loved our stay at Lea Farm. Thankyou! It's an amazing property accommodating many people. The kitchen is awesome! Also, It's in a really good location. Thankyou and we would recommend it to anyone having a largish family get together .
A fantastic farm house with wonderful hosts. The kitchen dinning room is wonderful and becomes the hub of the house. The kids enjoyed playing football in the garden and there are some great walks on your doorstep.
Really wonderful place to stay as a big group. The kitchen diner is absolutely fantastic and having 3 ovens and stoves is such a great asset! Thanks so much for the great stay
Heather
A fabulous and beautifully renovated house in a very quiet location, suitable for large groups of families and friends, with all the equipment and cooking facilities you could wish for. Very comfortable, warm and clean, with plenty of space for everyone to mingle, cook together or sit quietly as desired. Cleobury Mortimer, just a 10 minute walk or short drive away, has shops, pubs and restaurants for everything you need and the surrounding towns and countryside provide plenty of places to visit and enjoy. We will definitely be returning.

Couldnt recommend enough! Beyond happy with the villa it was 1010. The host of the property were very friendly and accommodating. The property had everything that we needed for our large family holiday and was well equipped. The jacuzzi was a nice touch to the property. The property was extremely clean and in immaculate condition. I already have Family and friends enquiring about this villa based on our family photos they have seen. The location offers privacy and is very peaceful! The entire family enjoyed their stay at the villa and would highly recommend to anyone considering their stay at this villa! Will be coming back again in the future hopefully!
We had a wonderful stay at the house for my 40th birthday. There were 13 adults, 3 kids and a baby and we had more than enough space for everyone to spread out and come together in the amazing kitchen and cosy lounges. The beds were all very comfy and it was great having lots of ensuite bedrooms. The area is beautiful and the view from the hot tub is gorgeous. Would definitely recommend this house for a special occasion. We absolutely loved our stay!
Fantastic place. Clearly still relatively new. Kitchen is huge and perfect for a large get together 3 cookers, 2 dishwashers, 2 kettles, 2 toasters, 2 big dining tables, massive island, etc etc. We were a group of 14 friends to celebrate my wifes 50th and it was ample room for us, in total can sleep up to 23 I believe. Theyve pretty much thought of everything. Rooms all very nicely kitted out. Loads of bathrooms. Nice location next to Cleobury Mortimer. Wished wed have chosen a different pubrestaurant to eat on the Saturday instead of Royal Fountain.however the private chef for the Friday night was fantastic. Would love to go again, in fact I plan to take the extended family there as we live in various locations around the country. Highly recommended.

Eighteen of us from four generations spent time at this wonderful holiday house to celebrate a diamond wedding anniversary. Lovely touches of flowers, wine and milk and also our requested fresh eggs awaited us upon our arrival. The house is very spacious having two good sized lounges and a fantastically large kitchen and dining area which was where as a party, we spent the majority of our time. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped with the only things missing for us, a smaller milk jug and some more sharp knives for our food prep. Bedrooms and bathrooms were equally amazing and comfortable and suited our needs perfectly as a family. Over the years, I have rented many properties but can honestly say that Ive never had a bed as comfortable as the one I slept in at Lea Farm House. I dont remember hearing any of the others complain either
Amazing property! ! We stayed for two nights with a big group of us and we all had a brilliant time. The property was beautiful and well maintained with more than enough space. Really enjoyed our weekend and we will definitely be back!!
We had a wonderful time. The house is amazing and easily accommodated our large group. The kitchen in particular was fantastic with so much room and the big island and tables which allowed us to all move around, cook and chat at the same time. The well was a cool feature too. The location is also great. The farm house itself feels very rural and quiet which was good but it was only a short walk to a variety of shops. Then, further afield across ShropshireWorcestershire, there was lots for us to see and do on the various days of our stay. So overall, it was brilliant. Thank you!
Rosalind
We had a fantastic time it is an absolutely beautiful house in a stunning location.
We stayed at Lea Farm house during a weekend away with friends. There were 6 families with 11 kids between us aged 16. The house and gardens were perfect for our weekend away. The kitchen was amazing with 2 dishwashers, 3 ovens and 2 fridges. There was plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses of various types which ensured we had everything we needed. The bedrooms were all a great size with lovely furniture and comfortable pillows. The garden was brilliant with a huge grassed area secured from the road with a sturdy gate. We had a great stay and will definitely look to book again for another stay.
The farmhouse was excellent. The well arranged and large kitchen was of particular note, a fantastic space to cook, eat and socialise. Minor suggestion is that rooms could be named and toilets marked as such because it's a bit of a maze and can be confusing when you first get there because all the doors look the same!
We had a wonderful stay at Lea Farm House. As a large mixed group of families it was just perfect and gave us plenty of space. The location was beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The whole place was super clean and finished to a high standard. We would definitely recommend to others and would love to return.
A fantastic house with so much space and a wonderful kitchen area. Hosts were superb and very attentive. We liked it so much we have booked again!
Jackie
Really lovely property to spend out annual family trip away. House has been beautifully done and has everything in you need a tumble dryer would be handy but we managed. Area was lovely and the host were contactable and very friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone that wanted a lovely house to stay in.
Madeline
This is a beautiful home with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of space. Big enough for 23 people to be together and have time alone without being ontop of each other the whole time. Mark the host was a truly sensational host. I can not sing his praises enough! He was kind, helpful, friendly, and overall helped make this truly memorable for us. I 100 recommend this home and Mark. We will definitely be booking Lea farm again without a doubt!
A superb property for larger gatherings. Mark and Phillippa are welcoming hosts and the house was immaculately clean. The kitchendining area is very special indeed being both large but also intimate. Cooking is a pleasure with everything you could need provided. The lounges and snugs provide a welcome bit of calm and the hot tub was well received by our group of friends and family gathering for a 70th birthday celebration. Bedrooms vary in size but are well described on the website and there are ample bathrooms and toilets throughout. Many rooms have beautiful ensuites. Ideal for walking the local area of any of the Shropshire hills. Children will love the multiple staircases and the building itself is really intriguing. We recommend without reservation and hope to find another excuse to return!
Michael
We loved it. We write an accolade in the Visitor Book. It was verging on luxury. The owners have created something special. There really was nothing missing or not working. And all in wonderful countryside. It was well worth the trip down from Hertfordshire.

What first impressed us on arrival at Lea Farm was the cleanliness, everywhere everything was spotless. A lovely house, well equipped with all necessary things. Hand wash and towel in all bathrooms which you don't always get at houses. Beds very comfortable. The second floor with the snug was ideal for the family of five. We were a group of 19 ages 380. Some visited Wyre Forest, Ludlow, Kidderminster and of course Cleobury. Most of the time was spent in the garden and hot tub. The hot tub was terrific. Good size barbecue. I have been renting for many years in England and this was one of the best houses we have holidayed in. It was lovely to meet the owners on arrival day.
Matthew
We enjoyed a wonderful family weekend at Lea farm house with 3 generations. The house is spacious and well equipped and everything was clean and beautifully presented. It was all we could have wished for, including very comfortable beds.
Christine
Beautiful house with plenty of room for our extended family. The children loved the great outdoor space and the hot tub was popular with everyone. Lots of space and storage in the kitchen. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Owners quickly sorted the one problem we had. Very satisfied. Surrounded by stunning countryside.
Judith Alison
Fantastic long weekend. Beautiful well equipped house. Lovely garden and a great time in the hot tub
Palveer
This properly was absolutely amazing and highly recommended. We booked for a meditation retreat with a few families and friends and the owners were overwhelmingly accommodating and the facilities went above our expectations. We hope to be allowed to come again soon.
Vincent
It was amazing. Definitely recommend.
We have just spent the weekend at Lee Farm Cottage, this cottage is located on a working farm and just 18 minutes walk into the town. The facilities in the cottage are exceptional, the kitchen area has everything you can think of and has sufficient tables and chairs for all 23 in our party to sit and eat together. The bedrooms are all well appointed and very comfortable. The front outside area has a hot tub and is great for games and the rear courtyard is a nice sheltered space for a BBQ. All in all we couldnt fault this cottage and will certainly visit again.
Five star stay! The house is wonderful and has been renovated and equipped to a high standard. The kitchen diner is stunning, the best Ive seen. The house is spacious and comfortable throughout, providing great accommodation for our large group. The hot tub was a bonus and enjoyed by all. The setting is tranquil with views over the countryside and farms. There is a lot to do in the area bike and walking trails close by National Trust properties within a short drive and pretty market towns to explore. We were warmly welcomed by the owners on arrival and shown around the house and offered information on local attractions. Our week went too quickly but this gives us a good excuse to return soon.
Katherine
My family enjoyed a lovely weekend at Lea House Farm. Host was extremely helpful and friendly . We will be returning! Thank you
Andrea
Lea Farm House is an absolutely amazing property. We celebrated a special family birthday here and everything was perfect! The property is in a great location, within walking distance of the village, and we had some great fish and chips on the first night from Mimis Plaice and a fantastic Indian banquet delivered to us by The Spice Empire on our party night. The property is furnished to a high standard with a very well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, lots of hot water and plenty of logs provided for the wood burners. The large dining room and kitchen is even better than it looks on the photos if possible and the lounge and drawing room provided lots of space for our party of 23 to spread out. The property owners are very kind and helpful and we had the most amazing stay. Many many thanks.
Excellent property, would highly recommend.
