Lower Lodge Reviews

Stacey
Fabulous property. Everything you could want and more. The hosts are very welcoming. Will definitely be returning.
Joanne
We have just left Lower Lodge after a week long stay over Christmas. We have had the best time and didn't want to leave! The Lodge was absolutely amazing! The attention to detail was second to none and the lodge was literally spotless. The Lodge was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was a lovely addition to our stay. Mark came to say hello and introduce himself the day after we arrived which was lovely to chat to him and Lisa was nothing but helpful over the phone when I had a ton of questions prior to us arriving. The games room, play room for the kids, the hot tub and sauna were well equipped as was the Lodge over all. The views were to die for and we will miss waking up to them! We have absolutely no complaints at all! We would 100 recommend a stay at Lower Lodge and we would love to come back again! Thanks again Mark & Lisa! x
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lower Lodge, it had everything that we needed and we felt very 'at home'. We used all the facilities that the lodge had to offer and the Hot Tub and Sauna were great.
Deborah
A spacious, comfortable property with excellent facilities. Very reasonably priced. Lovely garden looking out over a field. Hot tub was large, sauna just the job for wet, miserable days. Thank you to Mark for his banter. The 'list' family will return.
Pauline
Absolutely beautiful place. Very spacious and comfortable for all. Biggest hot tub weve ever seen and so good and peaceful. Games room was great fun, all facilities were top class. Loved the electric gate and the privacy that Lower Lodge gave us. Small problem when we arrived but Mark and Lisa quickly sorted this. Overall a wonderful 4 days and would highly recommend to everyone.
Super place,super owners,fantastic all round!
Lower Lodge is an absolutely perfect holiday let. The facilities are superb with everything you could need. The games room and hot tub were an added bonus. We would highly recommend to everyone.
Nice house well furnished only small niggle was twice we had a problem with the electric gate
The property was amazing and I would recommend this place to anybody! With absolutely no neighbors in site, it's a perfect private getaway with some exceptional views. I was pleasantly surprised by the technology within the house, which was better than the majority of houses I've stayed in, not something I expected for a house so isolated. The hosts seemed nice, Mark introduced himself on our 2nd day and with the exception of when he come around prearranged to cut the grass and maintain the hot tub, we were left to ourselves. All in all, very happy with the property and would recommend or go back without any hesitation!
We stayed in Lower Lodge in 2019, and have returned this week for our first family break since lockdown. We didn't think it was possible for Lower Lodge to be better than last time, but with the addition of the outside games room and all the other new additions amazing TV, new carpets, curtains etc it is even more lovely than before. We've had a fantastic week, and the couple of times we needed to contact Mark and Lisa they were so attentive we couldn't have wished for more. Thank you, we'll be back!
Lower Lodge is amazing! It has everything you'd need for a selfcontained holiday, its great facilities even include a sauna, hottub and games room. Big enough for 8 people too with four good sized bedrooms. Great views from rear of property over open fields, clean and well equiped kitchen. Thoroughly recommended!
Stella
Great property. Hot tub was great, plenty of room for the 7 of us. The sound system was amazing. It was very clean and spacious. The TV went down a treat when the football was on. I would definitely come back again. I would also highly recommend this property.
Andrew
Really fantastic stay, enjoyed all the facilities very comfortable stay. Would highly recommend shower over the bath. Hooks outside the hot tub for robes towels. Cover over hot tub incase of rain when in use. I know the owner wasnt on site when we arrived but any issues we had. His neighbour was on hand. We celebrated two birthdays and visited some wonderful places around the area. Thanks for letting us stay
Robert

Great holiday home. All facilities were great, would highly recommend. Mark was very helpful on his meet and greet visit. Hot tub and games rooms were wonderful for all ages!

Lovely bungalow with numerous facilities i. E hot tub, table tennis, pool table, sauna. The accommodation was first class , luxury furnishings and everything you require to make sure of a relaxing, enjoyable stay. Lots of activities to do locally , the Quad Biking was a particular highlight and lots of lovely walks in the locality. We found the owners very informative and nothing was to much trouble.

Lower Lodge is an excellent place to stay while visiting interesting places in Shropshire. Our accommodation was of high standard and accommodated our family with a variety of things to do in the games room after a day of touring around. Firm favourite was the hot tub for all of us especially our grandson. Excellent weather was a bonus to enjoy the garden. Mark was particularly helpful in advising places to visit and making sure we were all enjoying our stay. Thank you Mark.

The pictures don't do the property justice, it was simply delightful. One of the best properties we've stayed in. Lisa and Mark the owners were lovely and the peacock visitor from the neighbouring house was a real treat!
The amount of facilities to keep everyone occupied and Quite centralised to visit places easily.
Guillaume
We loved our stay. The lodge was perfectly clean, there were fresh flowers to welcome us. The lodge is super comfy with bathrobes for the hot tub, video games, the kitchen is well equipped, a blanket on the sofa and more nice touches like that. We also loved the sound system through the house, the pool table room, the maxi hot tub, theres everything for a relaxing stay. Mark was very friendly and gave us great tips of things to do in the area. We went on hikes and bike rides and really enjoyed the landscapes. I forgot my phone after we left. We contacted Mark who very quickly replied they would look for it, found it and shipped it right away. We highly recommend.
This cottage is a great place to spend time with the family, old or young as it has something for everyone. The owners Mark and Lisa were also very accommodating and friendly. Would book again. Places in the area were fabulous, Iron Bridge, Bridgnorth, RAF museum, the waterfalls.and more
Graham

Sheila
Lower Lodge is a brilliant place to stay. There were four generations of us including my granddaughter and her children . At the end of the stay she said she thought the place had been perfect for our needs and we all agreed with her. The owners had equipped and furnished the house so thoughtfully not one of us was ever bored. In my opinion it lacked nothing . It was simply a joy to stay there. Thank you Mark and Lisa.
Teresa
We have just spent the most amazing week at this fantastic property which couldn't be faulted in any way. It was well equipped in every way from the spacious 9 seater hot tub, sauna, all weather pool table to the indoor games room complete with xbox and family games. The owners have made this a most enjoyable experience with the extra touches they have added, fan's in the bedrooms should you be fortunate to have good weather and fluffy bathrobes in each room to enjoy the 'spa' facilities. The cake on arrival was most welcoming along with the music playing throughout the whole property. Although we were a mixed age group party ranging from 1880, Lower Lodge suited and fulfilled all our needs comfortably enabling us to spend time apart and share activities all together.
The location was so peaceful and secluded The home it self had everything a large family could need. Plenty of places too visit and children friendly, Great facilities like the hot tub and sauna large garden we even took a small bouncy castle for the 3 year olds to play on
