This is a lovely property and could not find fault with anything. The owner was also very accommodating and prompt with a response when we contacted her with a couple of queries prior to our stay. Overall would recommend this for a relaxing break in lovely surroundings.

Beautiful 5 star cottage, immaculate and everything you need, amazing views and outside space, spacious, comfortable and beautiful decor. Nice walk but you will need suitable foot wear as pathways quite steep and uneven, not suitable for prams or wheelchairs, two pubs in nearby in cotherstone village a good 15 minute walk down a steep hill and overRead more a couple of bridges, uneven paths. Skyline is superb! We were a family of 10 adults, a one year old and 2 dogs! Plenty of space. Facilities were excellent in every room! Would definitely book again. Hot tub and bbq were used a lot - and the views were breathtaking.
Suzanne
We had a great holiday in Skyline. House immaculate and scenery/views stunning. Plenty of space for 10 people and a dog. Lovely river walks from the doorstep and good grass area for kids to play outside. Comfy beds and sofas and all bedrooms being en suite was great. As per pre-holiday instructions, the long driveway to the house is uneven so take it steady. Outside space is lovely with large enclosed patio, hot tub, seating and bbq which 3 generations all made the most of. We had a great time
Ruth
House had everything we needed, hot tub finished it off for us, very dog friendly with loads of walks from the doorstep. Lovely walk to Cotherstone and a nice pub. Really liked the food at the Old Well in Barnard Castle. Raby Castle has a great deer park. We always do a family come dine with me and Skyline had everything we could want.
Stephen

The cottage worked well for me as a paraplegic, manual wheelchair user, needing wheelchair access on the ground floor with an accessible wet room with a shower. I did have non wheelchair user friends with me who helped a great deal.
Philip
Wonderful stylish and comfortable barn conversion, finished to an extremely high standard. Lovely outside area with stunning views. Although living space and kitchen is open plan, it is huge with plenty of seating areas. Beds were extremely comfortable. Lovely 10 min walk through caravan site to Cotherstone Village which has a couple of pubs. Great dog friendly walk from Cotherstone (starts behind the Fox and Hounds pub) along old Tees Railway line into Romaldskirk. We loved our stay
Ann
Very stylish holiday home with hot tub which had the most spectacular views. Decor and furnishing were beautiful and a very practical kitchen to use for self-catering . The large walled patio area at rear was great to keep the dogs and toddlers in and also a hose was provided for cleaning muddy shoes, bikes and pram wheels. All bedroom were tastefu lly decorating with ensuite bathrooms. The whole house was very warm, very clean and highly recommended.
Alison
A beautiful house with outstanding facilities. The welcome pack and other little touches were thoughtful and much appreciated. The view from the garden & hot tub was amazing. Wed certainly look to revisit:
Hazel
Absolutely beautiful cottage in a stunning location. It was finished to an exceptionally high standard inside and out, and was really well equipped. Short walk to the lovely village of Cotherstone where the pub serves a great Sunday lunch and the staff are really friendly.
Christine
A Beautiful spacious modern Barn conversion with everything finished to a very high standard all bedrooms had lovely en-suite shower rooms and one with a bath. We especially loved the open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area perfect for our mixed family, adults, children and dogs. The hot tub was large with beautiful views. We stayed for one week and enjoyed visiting local attractions especially the Bowes museum. The only issue we had was the drive down which has very large potholes.
Martina
Beautifully decorated for christmas. A large living space that felt cosy and warm. Comfortable beds and seating areas. Ample supply if glasses and crockery. Could benefit from more space to store groceries. We all enjoyed the local countryside and the view from the hot tub!!!
David

Sarah
Absolutely gorgeous house with ample room for 10 people and 3 dogs. Road to property rough in parts but property is worth the drive. Beautiful views from patio/hot tub. Welcome pack exceptional. Extremely well stocked crockery/kitchenware/towels etc. Property was lovely and warm, very clean, and very welcoming. Lots of places to visit in area and p ub a mile walk away (Fox & Hounds in Cotherstone), serves excellent Sunday roast. Hope to be back one day.
Christine
Fantastic place to stay. The house itself is stunning - immaculately presented and furnished beautifully. The views from the house are also breathtaking! Plenty of walks locally for the doggies and within easy reach of days out for all the family. A great place for coming together, we had a fabulous holiday and would definitely come back!
Tim
We had a party of 8, coming back for our second year : everyone has said it is a great place. We particularly liked the large amount of space in the rooms, the high quality bedding, fittings and decor. The setting could not be better with a great view and quiet location. We walked over to the pub in Cotherstone one evening and enjoyed that. The hot tub, right next to the house, was much appreciated. Lots of great walks nearby; Barnard Castle, especially Bowes Museum, is very much worth visiting
Aileen
Absolutely stunning house which is excellent for large groups. Loved the five en-suite bathrooms all of which were immaculately clean. Huge downstairs living area with plenty of seating to accommodate everyone. Kitchen well appointed. Lots to see in the area. Hamsterley Forest is a great day out with superb biking routes and walking trails for kids . Ruby Castle with its new play area was also a great day out. Eggleston Hall gardens could be the best garden centre Ive ever been to!
Alison
The cottage and its location is stunning. The specification/finish of every room was incredible. I will certainly be returning!
Rebecca
Beautiful property in a beautiful location. The view from the patio is lovely. Equipped with everything you may need. Fully enclosed garden is great for pets and kids. Owners really helpful and responsive if needed.
Tudor
Skyline is a lovely well appointed tastefully furnished property. It was ideal for our group needs being from four separate families, number of bathrooms etc. The downstairs open living area was ideal at the end of a busy day to all sit around and chat together even though food was being prepared. Ticked all our boxes thank you .
Debbie
Skyline is a beautiful cottage and perfect for 10 people. The beds are VERY comfy. The location is at the end of a bumpy road and a few miles from the nearest shop, so make sure you get everything needed whilst out and about!
Paula
The house is in a stunning location. It's roominess allowed plenty of space for our large party of 10. The jacuzzi was a welcome addition and made for complete relaxation and a special treat at the end of a busy day. The house is charm itself and we really enjoyed our time there.
Helene
Really impressive house, decor is very tasteful with high end appliances and furnishings. The views from the patio alone are absolutely stunning. Would definitely stay again and again.
Georgina
We had a fabulous family weekend staying at Skyline. Every room in the property is finished to a high standard and the kitchen is very well equipped. The location is ideal for visiting local attractions and then after a busy day you can relax in the hot tub with views over the fields. We would definitely recommend staying at Skyline!
Hayley
Absolutely amazing house, it was beautifully decorated. Very well equipped. We had the best week away. Superb view and lovely to have a hot tub to relax in.
Jenny
Perfect arrangement for a large group so that everyone could be in the living area together whilst cooking or relaxing. Lovely bedrooms and an excellent safe space for the dogs.
Rod
Perfect for a family / friends get-together. Very well equipped and quality can be seen in every corner of this well designed cottage. Great outdoor space with stunning views You will not find a better 4-5 bed in the area !
Tom
The barn was really lovely and a very nice place to stay. The bedrooms with en suite are particularly good. The living area is spacious but the layout could be improved particularly for watching TV. A very quiet location but the road leading to it needs the potholes filling. Information booklet could be better organized. The wood burner and the hot tub are very good albeit the hot tub only had four of its eight Jets working. Very clean and comfortable and I would recommend this place.
Jane
Lovely house - well equipped, great communal space, all bedrooms en suite and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We had a great time and would absolutely recommend.

This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire.  Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour.  You will have the chance to bottle feed the lambs, bath a pig and handle some of the smaller animals.  Kids will love the big sandpit and the outdoor play area. There is also a cafe and indoor play area for when the weather is not on your side.
