Little acre barn is a beautiful destination for friends/family to gather for a special occasion or just a weekend away. The barn was sparkly clean on arrival, fully kitted out with everything you may need and the decor is just gorgeous. Situated very rurally, it is peaceful and perfect to take dogs as there are lots of walks nearby. We had a lovely hamper on arrival which was a special touch. The hot tub was also a great addition. There are some beautiful pieces in this home, including the bar! Every item or piece of equipment you could ever need is provided. There was a lovely welcome pack with some delicious cakes on arrival that went down a treat. We loved the location but I could see it being a little too remote for some guests, being down narrow single track countr y lanes. Would I recommend this place to friends & family, certainly would and already have. Would I return to the barn, definitely, in a heart beat.

Head for the Bowland Wild Boar park and we don't think you will be disappointed. A popular attraction in Preston there is so much to do for the whole family. From picnics, walks and wildlife to experiencing feeding the animals you are sure to have a memorable day out. Also popular is the kids tractor play area. For rest and relaxation the cafe is ideal serving hot drinks and snacks with a lovely view over the pond and wildlife feeding station. The Forest of Bowland has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

This is an outstanding world heritage site located close to Ripon in the North Yorkshire area. Nature lovers will be in their element with an abundance of wide open spaces to explore and there are special guided tours for families. Some of the highlights may include seeing wild deer and bats during your visit. The grounds are fantastic to wander round but there is also an Elizabethan Mansion, Victorian Church, Georgian Water Garden and the finest example of Cistercian Abbey ruins in the country - Well worth a visit!
