St Michael on the Hill Reviews

Nichola
A very disappointing property that didnt live up to the expectations and health and safety standards. The electrics were dangerous and we had to get out an electrician who removed a light after confirming that the wires were to thin and not up to standard and had started to melt and could of set fire. Our friend tried to put the electrics back on as asked by the agent before the electrician arrived and he got a nasty shock, then the amount of water coming into the building was disgusting it was dripping in bedrooms, extremely close to sockets, this was very dangerous. We had children in the property and this caused us lots of anxiety, totally ruined our stay and we couldnt relax, the top landing was absolutely soaked underfoot and children could play and enjoy there break. Then another extremely bad accident happened, One of our friends children went to have a shower on the on suite bathroom and the shower glass door dropped of the hinges and onto him, luckily his dad was nearby to quickly help him, but he did have some serious injuries to his head and face. This door is extremely heavy and could of killed him. I do have all pictures and videos if needed. Outside the property is extremely unsafe and at night its dark and dangerous, no lighting and a small inflatable hot tub which nobody could access As it wasnt safe underfoot, there is also an extremely loose manhole cover in the drive way and because it was not safe we had to take a slap and cover it over to keep everyone safe. This is not what is advised. We were told the property had been damaged by three storms and the damage was causing the rain and water running into the property. We couldnt enjoy our break away as we found it very difficult to relax and unwind. Please contact me for further information. I will be contacting trading standards and seeking legal advice.could you please advise me on who they need to contact to discuss these issues. Thank you for your time

Head for the Bowland Wild Boar park and we don't think you will be disappointed.  A popular attraction in Preston there is so much to do for the whole family.  From picnics, walks and wildlife to experiencing feeding the animals you are sure to have a memorable day out.  Also popular is the kids tractor play area.  For rest and relaxation the cafe is ideal serving hot drinks and snacks with a lovely view over the pond and wildlife feeding station.  The Forest of Bowland has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Gulliver's World Theme Park - WA5 9YZ
about 26 Miles
This is a very popular theme park with three different locations.  The theme park in Warrington contains not only the theme park but also Gullivers Splash Zone and Gullivers Star Studios.  The Solash Zone is a fully heated indoor water play factory fun for all ages which will appeal on rainy days.  Throughout the year there are seasonal events too such as the Halloween and Fireworks event taking place from 23rd to 31st October.  You can book online to save time and secure your tickets during busy periods.  Over 50% of the rides are actually under cover so you don't need to worry about the British weather spoiling the fun.
