Lovely place to stay! Stylish and modern interior but comfortable too with some traditional features. Plenty of storage and plenty of space. The garden was huge which was great for our retrievers running around and burning off energy. Well definitely be booking again! Already recommended to a few people.
Terry
Spacious, very well furnished & equipped, a true home from home, peaceful location with lovely views. Obviously designed by dog lovers who know that we all appreciate & like to share a bit of luxury. Internal layout is very well thoughout, wet & muddy dogs &/or kids can be contained in the hard floor kitchen & hall & all rooms have doors to separatRead moree the areas. The garden is completely dog proofed which adds to the sense of relaxation. A field just down the drive is also available for exercise. Hide

Absolutely lovely place to stay, great location!
Christine
The property is beautiful and spacious well decorated and the kitchen is huge. The hot tub is the bees knees and we spent a lot of time in it. The garden is a good size and we and the dog's loved it. Nice that the lawn was not cut short so the dog's could chase their ball and not churn the turf up. Lots of nice places nearby.
Cheryl
We loved our stay at The Stables. The holiday home was the perfect location with stunning views, everything was comfy from sofa to beds, it had everything we needed and is decorated to a great standard. The hot tub was the icing on the cake plus the enclosed garden for our puppy.
Elaine
The barn is simply stunning and has everything you need for a fantastic break away. The barn itself is luxurious with fantastic outdoor space. The hot tub was a lovely bonus and truly relaxing watching the sun go down. Mark is a lovely host and was very helpful and on hand if we required anything. We have been to many different cottages but this is by far the best one that we have stayed at. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

We had a lovely stay at The Stables-beautifully appointed and absolutely perfect place to stay with our two dogs-one is a new rescue so we needed somewhere secure. We were blessed with glorious weather, so it was breakfast on the terrace, afternoons out doggie walking in beautiful scenery, pop into nearby Morrisons to stock up for BBQs and evenings in the hot tub. Mark was very welcoming and his recommendations on places to go were helpful-especially our day at Bolton Abbey. We plan to return!
Nadine

Linda
Perfect in every way ! Can not find fault with anything. Owner on hand to show up how things worked. Very spacious but also very cosy. Hot tub was perfect temperature. I have already recommended to a work colleague who has family in the area. Will definately choose this cottage again when we want a chill out weekend away that is only 40 minute driv e from home. This cottage is new but I can imagine once word gets round it will be very popular in both winter and summer. Thanks Mark for a lovely stay.
