Our stay was amazing. The property is exceptional and has everything you need. It was and ideal space for all 4 families totalling 14 of us. The pool table and hot tub were great hits and the ability to be spaced out within the house or all together for meals or games was great as everyone was kept happy. We will def be back again as it goes too qu ickly but also there was nothing to fault with the stay, a great way to celebrate my 40th Birthday and create great memories, thanks Kirsty
Claire
Wonderful place to stay! Beautiful surroundings. We all had an amazing time and would love to come back soon!
Diane
A beautiful decorated barn conversion set within a working farm surrounded by the stunning Northumberland countryside. Sympathetically decorated to its agricultural heritage. All amenities provided & decorated to a very high standard. A beautiful touch of milk, bread, butter & Prosecco provided in fridge along with the addition of fresh flowers in the main living area and a starter pack for the fire. Could do with a bigger hot-tub for the size of property, fits 4 comfortably but 6 at a squeeze.
Andy
For our extended family it was a perfect place with 7 double bedrooms, all en suite. The house had everything we could have wanted and was a beautiful barn conversion. The location was lovely and our hosts were too! The farm dogs and cat were very popular, as were the hot tub and pool table, the beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms beauti fully designed.
Pablo
Fantastic holiday cottage. It had everything that we needed and was perfect for our family holiday. It's very nicely located in the countryside but also quite close to various shops. The pool table and jacuzzi in the property were also great additions to our stay. The owners clearly take care of the property as it was really clean and tidy on our a rrival, and were really helpful with checking in and out of the property.

Beautiful, high class property in a great location. Exceptionally clean and everything we needed for a fantastic week was at hand. We cant thank Kirsty enough for her assistance while we were there. The hot tub added to the relaxing & pleasurable week we had.
Joanne
We absolutely loved Milkers Byre it was the perfect venue for our needs. Spotlessly clean and superior finish all over. We would highly recommend this venue and will be back.
Rosanna
We all had a fabulous time. The house was spacious and beautifully appointed. All the bedrooms were clean and comfortable, with lovely on-site facilities. There was plenty of space in the living room and the dinning table was able to accommodate all. The house is situated with glorious views all around and in the evening when the sky was clear, the night sky was amazing (especially from the hot tub). The only downside was the noise carried into the downstairs bedrooms, a door would help.
Lauren
Could not recommend this place enough. Beautifully decorated barn house situated in a perfect scenic location. Easy booking, friendly owners and smooth process. The bread & butter in the fridge and the slippers & toiletries on the bed were a lovely finishing touch. It was immaculately clean, modern appliances and well equipped with everything you c ould possibly need. Every single member of the party was beyond impressed, some were even looking to book again whilst we were still there!!
Janice
Milkers Byre was an amazing place to stay, we only wish we could have stayed longer. Kirsty was great, with quick responses for anything we needed and nothing was too much trouble. Also having the complimentary milk/Prosecco/bread etc was a lovely touch. We have been going away just before Christmas for years now and this is easily one of best plac es we have stayed! Fantastic and would highly recommend! Thanks for everything.
Leanne
Absolutely amazing cottage and a fantastic stay. Kirsty could not do enough for us and was on hand if wee needed anything. The cottage is beautiful and dcor and furniture is of a high standard. Seven lovely bedrooms with their own individual bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. Living area had plenty of seating and the kitchen was well equipped . Games room and hot tub for fun and relaxation. Will definitely book again in the future.
Kerrie
We stayed at the Milkers Byre for my 30th birthday for the weekend and wow it did not disappoint. The photos of the property online make it look amazing but when you step into the house they really don't do it justice, every single room in the house is finished to the highest spec. The bathrooms are stunning, the beds are so comfortable everywhere was sparkling clean. Kirsty is such a friendly warm host, non intrusive and so lovely, & we loved sharing our weekend with Bossy the dog too!

Go Ape Northumberland - NE48 1NT
about 15 Miles
Go Ape! has really taken off and become one of the most popular attractions in the UK.  The Northumberland course is set in the stunning grounds of Matfin Hall.  Described as a high wire forest adventure this really is one for the more daring as the course takes place right up in the tree tops.  Giant tree top obstacle courses include ladders, bridges, tunnels and some of the country's best zip lines.  You will be provided with all safety equipment and training on site.
Kielder Water Bird of Prey Centre - NE48 1BT
about 19 Miles
Housing the most fascinating collection of Birds of Prey in the North East this centre is definitely worth a visit if you are staying in the Kielder Water area. Located in Falstone it's easy to get to and makes a great day out for both families and couples.  As well as seeing the amazing birds you can learn all about the captive breeding programme and the excellent work being done there.  Some of the highlights of the day might include watching a Falcon stoop down from the skies at over 100mph and admiring the grace of the Eagles, Kites and Hawks.
Tullie House Museum & Art Gallery - CA3 8TP
about 25 Miles
This is a museum and art gallery in one and will suit those looking for an educational and cultural day out.  You can explore the fantastic art collection including Fine Art, Decorative Art and Textiles.  If you love nature then this aspect of Tullie House will appeal. The museum holds large and important collections of zoological, botanical and geological material. And for lovers of history there is plenty to wet your appetite here. Tullie House collects a wide range of historic materials including objects, ephemera (printed material), photographs and associated information files.  We think this museum and art gallery are excellent value for money as well.
