This beautiful semi-detached period property is situated in the heart of Scarborough, only a short stroll from the beach and local amenities. Decorated to a high standard with a spacious interior, this retreat is equally perfect for families, friends or travellers wanting somewhere special to unwind.

Enter into the lovely hallway, which presents two sitting rooms. The first is centred by a bay window and a feature fireplace, whilst the second boasts French doors which open out to the enclosed courtyard and a TV.

You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to relaxing, and can even continue your evenings outdoors, perhaps with a refreshing drink. The kitchen/diner compliments the property wholeheartedly; complete with grey units and exposed brickwork, you get a true glimpse of character and charm here.

Upstairs you will discover the wonderful selection of bedrooms divided between two floors. The first floor boasts three assorted styles, well positioned for the two luxury bathrooms.

Absolutely beautiful property, close to shops, restaurants, pubs, takeaways and a short walk away from town and the seafront. We went as a family of four generations and we all loved the break. Genuinely cant wait to book again and we couldnt recommend it more.

Really lovely house, nicely decorated and set out. Extra touch of Christmas decorations and cake! The logs were great for the log burner and the kids enjoyed the hot tub. Owner contacted me before to check I had everything I needed and if I needed local knowledge then checked again when we were at the property.

A perfect house for a large groupextended family. It was spotlessly clean and the facilities and equipment provided excellent. We had a young child and two toddlers with us and it was easy to babyproof the downstairs rooms. The furniture, accessories and equipment was all good quality and practical we were not worried that they would hurt themselves or break something. The hot tub was great, set alongside a small courtyard which was lovely for summer evenings. Ursula was a fabulous host. She made contact prior to our stay to give the opportunity to check any arrangements and also to offer suggestions for places to visit. She left us a much appreciated welcome pack, including a lovely chocolate cake. Parking is on the road, but we didnt have any problems parking both our vehicles outside the house. I would highly recommend 11 Highfield and hope to holiday there again.

A beautiful property with plenty of space for 9 of us. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds. Lovely Easter decorations was a nice touch. Enjoyed the hot tub which was checked every day. Always managed to park our three cars either outside the house or very close. Would recommend.

We are a group of 5 women and have numerous catch up get togethers. This property is the best weve ever been in by far. The house is huge and though we didnt fill it it would very very comfortably fit 10. The service before, during and after our stay could only be described as spectacular. 1st class in every single way. Though the photos of the property are good they absolutely dont show how beautiful this accommodation actually is!! LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!

The property was perfect an excellent location with shops and pubs within easy walking distance. It was clean, beautifully decorated and very well equipped with lots of thoughtful extra touches, as well as a cake, crisps & fizz to welcome our arrival. We were there for Christmas week and there were lovely decorations, including a fantastic tree. The property owner contacted us beforehand in case we wanted any additional items for Christmas, and to offer local restaurant suggestions, which was very helpful.

11 Highfield was like home from home, it is our first time booking a house. We were amazed as everything you need is there. Just add food and wine all sorted. Wow, what a fantastic house! Myself, my husband 3 kids absolutely loved our stay at Highfield. It exceeded our expectations and the standard off cleanliness and decor was fantastic! We had a very yummy Victoria sponge ,crisps and prosecco awaiting us on arrival too. The hot tub made it even more special. Great location, 5 minute drive to seafront and Peasholm Park. Owner was very helpful with any queries we had. We had a great time on our holiday, thank you. Definitely be back!

The house was spotless, very high specification, hosts very attentive and helpful but not intrusive. A very welcome surprise was the homemade cake for our stay, this was delicious. The hosts had thought of everything including luxurious towels and spa slippers for after the hot tub. My husband liked it that much if it had been up for sale we would have put an offer in. This was a thoroughly enjoyable weeks holiday and we would highly recommend it.

Stayed post Covid but the owner made contact by phone the week before to answer any questions. Key store used for secure access to the property on our arrival. The house is beautifully furnished with everything imaginable to make yourself at home. Kitchen is lovely and very well equipped. House was immaculately cleaned. Netflix was set up on both TVs and plenty of towels provided. Hot tub was much appreciated. Lovely homemade cake was a perfect finishing touch to welcome us. 11 Highfield is a lovely house, with gorgeous decorated rooms, underfloor heating down stairs and a lovely kitchen. The hot tub outside made our stay even more worth while. When we arrived, we were left 2 packs of crisps, a bottle of prosecco and a victoria sponge cake, which was so delicious and made the house very welcoming. There was a vast selection of DVDs, books and games as well! We did meet the lady who owns the house and she was very nice and chatty. Close to Scarborough seafront and close the Peasholm park. Great Location, although on road parking was difficult with us having 4 cars! A neighbour did try to help though. There was also daily cleaning of the Hot Tub. Check out wasnt until 10am, however the lady who owns the property did come round about 93040am, which made us all rush at the last minute, however she was a lovely lady and chatted to us all. One thing that we felt could of made the property even better is having a downstairs toilet, appreciate there are alot of bathroomstoilets upstairs but would be handy having one downstairs. Great stay all round and would highly recommend!

The description of the room layout and bathroom facilities could have been clearer. It made it a little difficult for our plans, as there was an interconnecting room which was not clearly specified. However, the accommodation was spotless and the hosts were super friendly and easy to deal with. They helped with all our concerns and we could see all the little extra things they did to make the house a warm place to stay.

An absolute gorgeous property, done to a very high standard, spotlessly clean and very well equipped, we really couldnt fault a thing. We received a very warm welcome from the owner with a homemade cake, bottle of prosecco and crisp. 10 of us stayed at the house, 6 adults and 4 children, there was plenty room for everyone, the kids loved the games room and Netflix. The hot tub was brilliant, the kids loved it, they were in it morning and night. The house is about a 10 minute walk from the beach and town centre, there is a londis at the bottom of the street and the nearest supermarket is a 5 minute walk. There is a local family pub just a few streets away which serves decent food and has friendly staff and good service. The property is a great location for Flamingo land, Whitby, Robin hoods bay, Filey, Castle Howard and Scarborough is a great place to explore. We all would highly recommend staying here.

The house was in the perfect location for a day at the beach with the walk not being too far and a bus stop at the bottom of the road for those who dont want to walk that far. The house itself was perfect!! Clean, spacious and a great entrainment house with a fabulous hot tub. An added plus was a lovely bottle of Prosecco and a cake left for our arrival which started the weekend off brilliantly!! Couldnt have asked for more.

Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend here, Always a bit nervous before arriving when you have chosen the property, but neednt have been. The house is beautifully decorated & spotlessly clean. The kitchen is very well equipped with easy to use appliances. So nice to have more than ample crockery, so often lacking in large rentals. The owner contacted us before arriving asking if we had any questions or needed any advice on booking anything that she could help you with. Her recommendations were very good, in particular a bistro called The Green Room for Sunday lunch. Lovely welcome pack, prossecco, cake & crisps. So cake & cuppa on arrival, followed by prossecco in hot tub. ..extra towels, plastic glasses & even disposable flip flops provided... perfect. If you are enjoying a lodge break in the Yorkshire Moors and Coast then a day trip to the Scarborough Sea Life and Marine Sanctuary highly recommended. This centre is one of the regions most popular attractions and is educational as well as fun. Visitors will enjoy a journey beneath the waves, meeting many strange, beautiful and fascinating creatures of the deep. As well as mighty sharks and beautiful rays guests can get up close to some more common creatures including star fish and can also meet the otters, seals and penguins at feeding time. The site also has children's play area and picnic tables as well as a restaurant and souvenir shop. Family tickets cost £46.80 but the Tourist Information Centres in Scarborough, Whitby or Filey often offer fantastic discounts.

Sea Life Marine Sanctuary - YO12 6RP

about 1 Mile

Located in the Scalby Mills area of Scarborough this makes a fun family day out for those who are interested in marine life. The fantastic ocean tank is well worth seeing - it's been transformed into a Turtle Reef and you can see an amazing array of colourful reef fish and coral. You may also catch a glimpse of the tropical sharks and turtles. Offering good value for money this is a day out with a difference and an all weather attraction.

Peasholm Park - YO12 6QQ

about 1 Mile

This attraction is ideal for sunny days as the beautiful park is ideal for wandering out and taking in the scenery. You can hire boats including rowing boats and canoes to enjoy the views from the water. The pedalos with the dragon heads are always a popular choice too. Look out for special events including the Battle of Peasholm Park Naval Battle which has been described as a "must see". You can also take a ride on the North Bay Railway which will delight children.

Betton Farm Visitor Centre - TF9 3PS

about 2 Miles

Betton Farm Visitor Centre is the ideal attraction close to the North Yorkshire coastal town of Scarborough. This animal farm has all the cute farm animals you would expect to see and will appeal to younger children especially. A great place to both play and learn we think the Betton Farm Visitor centre is great value for money. Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs. Some of the highlights of the day might include meeting Sofie the Shetland Pony and Henry the goat, as well as the pot bellied pigs called Porky and Hammy.

The Grainary Wildlife Farm - YO25 3HS

about 6 Miles

Located in Harwood Dale Village, North Yorkshire we think this attraction makes a superb family day out and couples will also enjoy the nature walks in the area. There are 6 nature walks in total surrounding the farm so walkers and lovers of the outdoors will be in their element. Some of our favourite walks include the Spring Flowers, Pond and Village walk which takes around 35 minutes, and the Meadow and Trees walk which takes one hour.

Flamingo Land - YO60 7EW

about 16 Miles

Situated in Malton in North Yorkshire this has to be one of our favourite family days out. It's a theme park and zoo all in one stretching over a massive 400 acres. With thrilling rides for the very daring like Cliff Hanger, Corkscrew and Kumali, there are also more gentle rides for the little ones such as Frog Hopper and Helitoys. Family fun attractions include the 4D cinema, the lost river ride and the Little Monsters Den of Mischief. Check out their website for seasonal events which take place throughout the year and you can also gain more information about the zoo. Flamingo Land is a resort as well as a theme park so you can also book accommodation there.

Castle Howard - YO60 7DA

about 22 Miles

Castle Howard is one of the regions most beautiful and historic landmarks and is located in 1,000 acres of parkland with breathtaking gardens to explore. As well as exploring the castle visitors can enjoy attractios including the unique Land Train - the best way to see the entire park. There is also a large lake offering boat trips during the summer months. In high season the site is very popular with families and offers organised activities for children including tours, talks, crafting and animal encounters. The site also has a Nature Trail which is fun for the whole family and an Adventure Playground where children can run off some energy.

Yorkshire Lavender is an amazing award winning attraction offering breathtaking panoramic views of York, a Café, Plant Nursery and Lavender Gardens. The 60 acre site is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is an excellent choice for a day trip. The onsite shops sells Lavender products such as bath and body treats, skincare, medicine and herbal remedies.
