Bedale View Lodge Reviews

Stephanie
Great lodge for a family break. Fab location and decor. Close to a pub for a walk and a bite to eat. Short drive into Scarborough. Our 2nd time staying here and would definitely revisit!
Rebecca
Bedale view lodge was beautifully presented and the staff we came into contact with were lovely. We had a nice stay however this is not a lodge we would return to as it is far to small. The lodge is advertised as being suitable for 6 people and although the lodge does sleep 6 the living space is far to small to accommodate this many people. We stayed over Christmas which meant the weather prevented us from using the outdoor space, maybe if you were to stay over summer when you could use the very pleasant patio area the lodge wouldn't feel so cramped. The lodge also has very little storage space, there are no wardrobes and only a ver small set of draws in the twin bedroom. The closet in the lounge had room to hang coats but no room for shoes ets as the small floor space was used to store the hoover and cleaning equipment. Unfortunately the lack of storage space meant that the already small space soon became cluttered and felt even smaller. Bedale view lodge is a beautiful lodge and would make a lovely holiday for a smaller group, the photos on the advert make this lodge look much bigger than it is. The hot tub was also not as good as others we have been in, it is a good size however two sides have loungers and the seats on the opposite sides don't allow you to sit with your shoulders below the water as it's not that deep so we found it chilly using it in December.

Absolutely lovely lodge in a beautiful location! The site overall had everything you need from a childrens play park to all the necessities they stock in the reception shop incase youve forgotten something or have run out! Would definitely recommend & have already done to our close friends and weve already rebooked for the school holidays next year!! 1010!!
