Chalet 4 Reviews

Absolutely brilliant chalet in a beautiful location. Really clean and comfortable! The hot tub is in a lovely private area. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
Millie
It was amazing. Me and my boyfriend loved the place and would definitely come back or recommend to a friend. The hot tub was fantastic and a great part of the chalet.
Just the radiator in the bathroom doesn't get very hot and makes that area cold
It was a fantastic weekend only downside was one of the hot tubs kept turning itself on and off during the night but other then that everything was spot on. The dressing gowns were a welcomed touch after enjoyjng the hot tub. We had everything we needed and everything was same as the description. Can't fault the cleanliness of the chalet you could literally smell how clean it was when you walked in. The air fryer was also a really good addition it meant we could make small meals however we didn't know this prior so should add this into the description. We will definitely be returning.
Kristy
Very basic facilities. No oven to cook anything, lots of flies everywhere and bugs. The room was just to say clean. No pub open whilst we were there so if it wasnt for the hot tub we would have come home early. No bins to put rubbish in so we had to bring the rubbish back home. Would not stay here again as its not worth the money.
We loved our stay here and loved our Own private hot tub had what we needed here, we don't drive but was local bus stops to Malton or Scarborough whichever way you wanted to go. Lovely remote quiet place, it's a shame the onsite bar wasn't open in the week though especially with it been holiday season, our only issue was with the bugs need more to try and keep them at bay, I know it can't be helped by being surrounded by farmland but some bug zappers or something nearby to help keep them down but other than that was a brilliant stay would highly recommend
Krzysztof
Really enjoyed it. Looked exactly like the photos. Recommend it

Really did not like our stay. The area and location was really rubbish. The fridge stank. There was no eating places for vegetation options, had to drive around 20 minutes just to find food. The best thing was the hot tub, which you have to turn off at 10pm.
Great place like the environment and the facilities but maybe need a bigger ... Great place like the environment and the facilities but maybe need a bigger fridge near the dining table as theres plenty space
No cooking facilities and no pubs close by for food so u have to drive. It wasn't dog friendly in my opinion, yes there are some fabulous walks for dogs very close by but threw the night if the dog needed a wee u have to take them on there leads to the field as there is no enclosed area for them to do there business. The mattress is in need of being changed, it's very lumpy. The fridge had a horrible smell in it but could also do with being bigger so u can have at least a jug of milk and some snacks in it. There should be information that the pub onsite is cash only and only open 3 days a week. On the other hand the people in the pub made us feel incredibly welcome and when I didn't have cash they let me pay the following day. Also the cleaners were so friendly and helpful they couldn't do enough for us.

We had an amazing time and the weather was perfect. The hot tub was brilliant and we miss it already. Greated by a lovely lady, sorry didn't catch her name in reception. Very clean and tidy. Due to the location of the park a standard fridge is definitely needed as there wasn't enough room to store food or drinks that needed to be kept cold and the you don't want to be travelling to shops all the time . The fridge that is there doesn't even store a 2 pint of milk and the smell from the fridge was awful. I put a punnet of strawberries in and couldn't eat them as they tasted how the fridge smelt.
Joshua
The chalet was beautiful, very modern and clean. I love how the Hot tub is private. My only criticism is there needs to be a bigger fridge and more cooking appliances.
The only negative we found was the 17 litre fridge, you can't even stand a bottle of milk up in it, plenty of room for a bigger one, everything else was lovely.
Lindsay
Great location, hot tub was amazing

Had an amazing stay everything was so clean and tidy for the 3 days we spent there, the jacuzzi was amazing went in it everyday only downside was the radiator in the bathroom could be a bit warmer as it takes quite awhile to warm up and such a nice and quite area but other than that it was an amazing stay

Chalet 4 was great overall, very comfortable and clean, Would however just like to mention about the radiator in the bathroom not working very well so we couldnt get towels etc dry. Maybe a bigger fridge would be more useful too but overall a great place to stay and would recommend.
Rachel
Lovely place for a short break
Robert
Loverly stay and great location. Very friendly staff and welcoming. The only addition I would make is a larger fridge and a cover over the hot tub, other than that the stay was wonderful and we will be back
Lovely wee place. Very comfortable. First night couldnt use hot tub as it hadnt been heated up. Once heated was absolute bliss. You really need to drive as facilities on site were not available due to the time of year.
The Room was bigger than I thought it would be so a small sofa 2 seater would have been a nice edition I am sure it could be configured in.
I think definitely having a bigger fridge would be helpful as its so far to get to any shops, a coat hook of some sort in the bathroom for dressing gowns would be great. Otherwise it was a lovely stay and we really enjoyed our visit.
Daniel
Very nice for a short stay and very clean and tidy. No wifi is a bit frustrating and would need cooking facilities for a longer stay. Hot tub was lovely and bed very comfortable.
Morgan
Really lovely place to stay, would definitely recommend! only thing is that the electric went off for around two hours meaning the hot tub wasn't working and obviously no electronics were working either, this also included the hot water for the shower which was freezing cold from Saturday afternoon until the Sunday when we left.
Gabrielle
Really enjoyed our stay! The hot tub was a great added bonus. Only suggestionsissues is the lack of cooking equipment and the funny smell coming from the fridge.
Joanna
Lovely place to relax and unwind. Shame the local pubs, chip shops are not open on a Monday and Tuesday and the on site bar is also closed .
Really enjoyed our stay, accommodation was lovely, and although it was near the caravans still felt quite private. Reception lady didnt get her name, sorry! was lovely and told us of plans to add more privacy by adding greenery to the fencing around the hot tubs, but we had no issues with privacy. WiFi would have been good but certainly not a dealbreaker as really we were there to get away from all of that!
Jessica
The value was amazing, the hot tub was lovely and we had a fantastic time! ! The lack of cooking facilities and fridge space was a struggle with the supermarket 30 mins away. I understand we were made aware of this prior to booking so we came prepared! The chalet not having WiFi is also something that could easily be provided. There wasn't much close to us but we enjoyed being able to drive to various different places throughout our stay! More information on how the jacuzzi works would be great as we struggled to get the temperature above 36 and also couldn't figure out how to turn it off as it would be 3am and we could hear the loud hum of the jacuzzi. There seemed to be a bar onsite which we saw open once, we would have liked to have more information on this as well so we knew when it was open as we would have liked to visit. Thank you!
Lovely Chalet, we really enjoyed our stay, it was very clean and furnished ... Lovely Chalet, we really enjoyed our stay, it was very clean and furnished beautifully, the only negative we found was it only had a microwave and there are not many places around to eat out but that certainly wouldn't put us off coming back
