Lodge was lovely and In a great location. The host was sweet and ensured we had everything we needed.
The experience was fantastic! !! Loved every moment. Was extremely clean, heating was on for arrival, towels provided. Hot tub was fantastic. Karen was very kind and available for any queries and a bottle of wine was very kind. Would happily return Thankyou
A wonderful relaxing stay at this well located and spacious cottage. In easy driving range of York and the coast, it was a wonderful place for a weekend away from the ravages of work. The cottage was really well presented and spotlessly clean. Loved every second of my 3day break. Oh, and just enjoy the hot tub absolute bliss after a day of hiking or mooching around York. Thank you just what the doctor ordered.

A beautiful relaxing space just perfect for what we needed. Close enough to York to explore definitely recommend using the park and ride but far enough that you are away from the hustle and bustle of city life and traffic. Based within the grounds of a quiet village pub, it offers the chance for a quiet few drinks and games of pool or darts. The freshly prepared home cooked meals are a great treat also. Very clean and well looked after, a 1010 from us. We will 100 return here to stay when we next visit York.
Amazing place to stay could not fault it at all, food in the pub is amazing and was treated very well by all the kind and friendly staff. Highly recommend
A wonderful find. We had an amazing weekend. The cottage is exactly as it says and everything is ready for your arrival, including the hot tub. We are planning to return in the near future.

We loved Farriers Lodge, it was cozy and comfortable and we loved relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. Karen made us welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Only one bit of feedback, the front door faces out onto a car park, theres clear glass on the door so a blind or privacy shield would be useful.
Lodge was very well equipped and very classy. Also good meals available in on site restaurant. Owner friendly.
Lovely little cottage, perfect for a couples break away. Close enough for if you wanted a day out but quiet enough to have relaxing days too. Hot tub was well used by ourselves and nice and secluded despite being near to the pub. Will definitely return again
A lovely cottage nice clean and tidy. Meet Karen upon arrival and she showed us around the cottage. Karen and the staff at the pub were very friendly and accommodating. Gave us ice for the bottle of prosecco, which was a lovely touch. Really enjoyed our stay here and we would definitely stay here again. The hot tub was greater to relax in after spending the time visiting York. Even though the cottage is behind the pub, it was extremely quiet Joanne & John
