Little Barn Reviews

Absolutely smashing time at Little Barn. Fabulous views, convenient location and our own petting farm for toddler granddaughter! Thank you Bev for the warmest hospitality.
If you are hesitating over the 'book' button . .. just press it
Yet again another amazing stay at little barn. We went for a Christmas break. On arrival the Christmas tree was up and lit with Christmas music playing. The place was spotless. Bev was so attentive and the perfect host. Always on hand. This is the second time we have stayed and just booked again for next year. The best place that we have stayed in the UK. Thank you Bev

Amazing stay at Little Barn. I cannot recommend highly enough. A perfect base for exploring West Yorkshire and the Yorkshire Dales. The property was great. It had everything youd need and was tastefully decorated throughout. The welcome basket and fresh eggs were much appreciated treats. The views were beautiful. There were wild deer in the grounds, never been so close! Quite the experience. The chickens also popped by to say hello each morning. You could see the Keighley and Worth Valley railway steam train pass by from the window. Visited Hebden Bridge, Malhamdale including Malham Cove, Janets Foss and Gordale Scar, Harrogate, Haworth and Goit Stock falls. There were lots of nice places to eat within a short drive. Galos kitchen in Ilkey was so good and such great value. Also went to the Shibden Mill Inn, Engine Social in Sowerby Bridge and Bettys tea rooms in Harrogate. After a day out exploring, to return to the large hot tub, the private patio area, the free standing bath and comfy bed were just what was needed. Bev was extremely helpful and a lovely host.

Everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect! Bev was a great host and communicated with us really well before and during our stay, she was super attentive throughout and because we were getting there late in the evening, she warmed up the hot tub for us so we could get right in when we arrived. Bev also left us some fresh eggs from the chickens which was amazing and so kind. The cottage itself was so clean, cosy and really felt like home there was nothing we could fault. The bedrooms were a very good size, the bed was comfortable and we absolutely loved the view from the bedroom and the little room by the upstairs bedroom where you can see the steam train go by as you get ready! We had chickens come up to the door in the mornings and a deer in the garden, and as you drive up the driveway you can spot the family of deers, such a cool experience. Overall, I highly recommend and would definitely come back to Little Barn, we loved every minute of this place thank you Bev!
Absolutely an amazing place to stay, nice and quiet and out the way, but still near plenty of shops and other facilities. Owner was absolutely amazing and very accommodating could not be any better.
Little Barn exceeded our expectations Warm and cosy with modern decor and very well equipped . Very comfortable beds and a good shower Bonus of a hot tub too
Fabulous stay in beautiful green surroundings! Bev is a very attentive host, sending a welcome text, messaging if the windowcleaner was due to visit...Everything in the property was extremely clean, and was bigger than the pictures online! I loved the hens and the hot tub! The huge bath in the upstairs bedroom was amazing! Definitely a property to keep in mind when in the area again!
We had a lovely week stay at little barn. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. Bev the owner left us fresh eggs and a bottle of wine as well as some chicken feed. My 2 boys loved the chickens. Highly recommend for a relaxing break.
This was the most amazing holiday we've ever been on! the hosts were so helpful, always available nearby, and did everything they could to enhance our stay! house was really clean and really well equipped! we highly recommend this cottage. especially enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful views from cottage! would love to come again! thanks Bev

The description of the place doesn't do justice to the place or hostess. The place was so lovely and clean and had everything you could think of. The hostess was simply so nice and caring. I was my first stay away from city life and we loved very moment here. Such a great place and hostess. I can recommend this for anyone who is looking for a relaxing away from city stay in cozy homey surroundings Thank you everything Bev!
The ground floor bed was far too small to accommodate two grown adults. If the bedside cabinets were to be replaced with smaller more normal sized ones then it would be possible to fit a king size bed in that room making it the same comfort as the bedroom on the first floor. A wonderful bonus, Chickens came to the door every morning to be fed by hand for their breakfast. As well as that delight we were able to feed, again, by hand, Deer from the nearby trees whilst hearing the steam train at the bottom of the garden. Fantastic!,
Elaine
A proper home from home, fully equipped. Beds were clean and comfortable, as was all of cottage. The owner couldnt have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming. Chickens running free and jar feed left for them was a lovely touch. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you Bev
Vanessa
Very quiet peaceful place. The host was lovely adding little welcoming touches on arrival. We had an enjoyable time. The barn is spacious and well equipped. The only down side was the entrance to the drive it was a bit of a shock and the steep uneven drive took a bit of getting used to. If you love chickens you will love it as they come to greet you every time you appear out of your car or barn. It was a real treat to bathe in the bath and enjoy the beautiful view and passing steam trains!!
A lovely comfortable house with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Clean and well equipped.Owner Bev kept in touch to ensure we had a good stay. The friendly hens were a cute extra who greeted us on our arrival
Absolutely fabulous. Felt like home from home. Lovely, comfortable cottage with amazing hottub. The bed was really comfortable, which is unusual in holiday lets. Loved the 'country feel' of the place chickens, deer, etc. Good location for visiting lots of interesting places. The owner is nearby and is really friendly and helpful. We will be going back next year.
Deborah
Lovely cottage in a great central position for visiting local areas such as Haworth, Skipton, Gargrave and Hebden Bridge. Plenty of walking in the area. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had good facilities. Beds were super comfy. Nice hot tub. Good broadband whilst we were there. Bev the owner very friendly and helpful. On hand if needed, but in a discreet way. The family of over 8 deer including a stag! grazing in the wooden area as you come up and down the track was lovely to see, especially when they ventured into the back gardens on an evening. Would highly recommend if you are looking for clean, comfortable accommodation with the added bonus of a hot tub at a very reasonable price. Thanks for a lovely time Bev xx

Beautiful place! We really enjoyed our stay. Sitting in the hot tub in the evening was the perfect end to the day! Bev was lovely and extremely helpful!
What a delightful place to stay! The log burner was welcomed as it was so cold and the bath was to die for! It was decorated beautifully with a Christmas tree which made our stay as it was our Christmas break. A little bit of luxury in the comfort of your own home for the week. On arrival, we had a lovely welcome pack with biscuits and wine. Bev, the host was one in a million. So attentive and willing to help in every way possible. Communication was excellent throughout. We loved it so much we have already booked it for the same week next year. Thank you Bev you made our stay!
It did t look great when we arrived but it was not a disappointment. Lovely place.

Just returned from a fabulous stay at Little Barn close to Haworth. The cottage was very clean, well equipped with everything you needed and added bonus of a welcome bottle of wine, biscuits and sweets. Particular favourite of ours was the hot tub and the lovely bath upstairs enabling you to watch out over the fields in the distance and sometimes the steam train. Bev the owner is on hand if needed. One lovely surprise we had was seeing the deer in the garden. Close to all local areas, and a bus stop to get into Haworth no need to take the car and the cost of a ticket is reasonable we would definitely recommend Little Barn and hope to stay there again in the future.
Pamela

Every thought has been put into making the The Little Barn as comfortable as possible
Beautiful cottage classy and tastefully decorated. Super comfy bed and a snuggly corner sofa heaven! A hot tub was wonderful too. Haworth is a lovely town and the area around the cottage is beautiful.
Elaine
I booked the accommodation for my son and his partner, it was a surprise for his 21st birthday. Both thoroughly enjoyed their stay. There was everything they needed in the accommodation, plenty on site to keep entertained. It was spotless with a lovely welcome pack. Lovely walks nearby. Would definitely recommend.
Kenneth
Wonderful cottage to stay at. Beautifully presented and cosy for a lovely weekend break. Owner Bev was at hand if required and some nice goodies for when you arrived. Would thoroughly recommend staying at The Little Barn.
Extremely comfortable and well equipped cottage with a lovely view across the valley and a superb hot tub in a secluded walled garden. Situated near to Haworth and Bronte parsonage and the KWVR heritage railway.
What an amazing property. Very well equipped with everything you need for a lovely stay at Little Barn. The hot tub was amazing! Bev the owner obviously pays great attention to detail and even left a bottle of prosecco, biscuits and some goodies for our little girl. She was very helpful and friendly. Thank you Bev. Our little girl loved it and commented on how nice the cottage was lol.
Lauren
What a stunning place Little Barn was. We absolutely loved it here. Had everything we needed, all done to a high standard. The hot tub was amazing and we picked a great week weather wise. I felt so relaxed and chilled out, just what we needed. We will definitely be back again thank you for everything.
Little Barn has great facilities and is stunning and clean inside. The hot tub was a lovely treat. Would definitely recommend!
Robert
Lovely place, nicely decorated and some nice touches with the extra throw and hot water bottles, with Prosecco and sweet treats too. Hot tub was great, used it at the end of every day after long walks, great for relaxing. Couldnt fault it at all.
Rebecca
The property was in a stunning location, was nice to see the steam train come past every so often. The property was very well kept and the jacuzzi was a nice treat. The owner was very friendly and helpful on the phone. Would recommend to anyone who wanted a getaway to the dales. Would definitely book again.
Steven
Little Barn is a delightful, clean and lovely cottage in an excellent location to lots of places to visit. The hot tub was wonderful and Bev was so helpful. We highly recommend Little Barn
This property was lovely on the inside and the view beyond the grounds was breathtaking. However, the driveway to the cottage is steep and intimidating as it takes people along the backside of the property first, followed by the rubbish heap before the front is seen. This property is off a busy road and can only truly be entered from one direction by larger vehicles. The owners and manager were absolutely lovely and helpful the grandson was just adorable. It is obvious the owners are making the most of what they have and created a little oasis for some holiday relaxation. Im not certain I would stay in this cottage again for the price as I was hoping for a bit more of a getaway than what the cottage is able to provide.
Natasha
Where do I begin with Little Barn? This is quite possibly one of the most comfortable places I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. I am almost grateful for the heavy rainfall over our extended weekend break as it gave us the perfect excuse to relax in this little gem of a cottage! The house is tucked away in a quiet, private spot away from the main road. On our arrival, the house was toasty and warm and the radio was switched on in the living room the place immediately felt like home. The cottage looks beautiful in pictures, but in person it is even nicer and even more spacious! The hot tub was the main reason we chose Little Barn and it absolutely lived up to our expectations. Bev was a fantastic host who was only a text away and made sure we were completely comfortable during our stay. I would come back here in a heartbeat, and would recommend this place to anyone choosing Haworth as their next holiday destination!
Nicola
Little barn is such a wonderful place to stay, the cottage has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, the location is stunning from the views of the Yorkshire countryside to the family of deer that live in the grounds. The bus stop to hebden bridge and haworth is at the end of the lane and a cafe, restaurant, gin bar and shop only a ten minute walk away, haworth a 25 minute walk. We have stayed here twice, once just the two of us and once with our children. We will definitely be back! The cottage is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, the hot tub a wonderful addition after a day of exploring!
Rebecca
Lovely relaxing break in a well equipped clean refurbished cottage that had lots of extra touches to make it feel like home extra towels, throws, fairy lights in the evening.
