Lovely house but garden is not dog friendly as only low walls and gate to keep them safe. The house is lovely and we were left a welcome pack which was filled with all sorts of treats and local products. Lots of walks near by
Joe

What a brilliant holiday home. The place is so spacious and beautifully decorated. The hot tub with the surrounding plants was bliss. Its the little touches that set this place apart; obviously the jukebox, a heating light to dry off by the hot tub, a hanger for drying your swim stuff, tvs with Netflix on and spices! Having three living spaces was awesome and it felt so spacious. Jo & Robert were wonderful hosts. Really chilled and helpful.

We had a great stay at the Spice House and found it to be a comfortable and well equipped base from which to explore the local area. The house is dog friendly and very well equipped with instruction manuals available for the appliances if needed. There are lots on fantastic local walks and particularly recommend strolling across the local viaduct, Howarth or the nearby reservoir.

We loved our break here as did our two dogs - very good location for visiting local landmarks - we went to Bront Waterfalls Saltaire and Hebden Bridge and a great Sunday lunch too all in one day. Hot tub very nice after a long day. The accommodation is top notch and has everything and I mean everything you need. Thanks for a great stay

The Spice House is an absolute gem. It was the best hot tub experience we have ever had in a holiday home with the drying room and music. We loved the juke box. Jo and Robert were so helpful and welcoming and beds were very comfortable. Our dog also enjoyed some great walks from the house and locals were very friendly and helpful. We are definitely coming back to this property.

Absolute gem of a place! A total home from home; Jo and Rob have really thought of everything for your stay. The property is finished to a very high standard. The hot tub is lovely listening to evening bird song. Some lovely walks nearby and pubs that do lovely food.
Catherine
Spice house is a beautiful spacious holiday cottage on 2 levels. The bi folding door allowed the colourful mature garden to merge wonderfully with the burnt orange colour scheme throughout. It was relaxing sitting of a morning with a tea listening to the bees buzzing about their business. The hot tub was spotless and very well maintained. Loved the originality of the juke box it had a wide selection for everyone to enjoy of an evening. We enjoyed our week very much. A touch of luxury!
Joanne
The bungalow was immaculate, the Welcome Hamper sublime. The location affords a varied exploration of wonderful Yorkshire. The hosts were lovely, and my family and I would thoroughly recommend the Spice House.

A great property. The house was beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The garden area is stunning and the hot tub is a bonus. The owners live next door and after giving us a warm welcome made sure we had privacy. The location is ideal for exploring the many lovely places in West Yorkshire. Highly recommended.
Pat
From arriving till leaving the holiday was perfect, the most relaxing holiday ever. This was in many ways due to Jo and Robert. The house was amazing and so well appointed with a great deal of thought going into our stay. The welcome hamper, the cleanliness of the hot tub, the robes together with lots of unexpected items eg games, duke box and even an area to change after using the hot tub with a heater. A place to stay that we would 100% recommend to everyone.
Deborah
We loved the Spice House and would like to visit again. The house is very comfortable and Jo and Robert made us very welcome. The hot tub is a real bonus after a days walking.
Marie
Amazing house, with amazing hosts who couldn't do more to make us feel very welcome. We all had a relaxing stay and enjoyed the hot tub. The Spice House was really well decorated and styled. The kitchen had all the utensils and a large fridge freezer. The gift basket with locally sourced goodies in was an extra special touch. Having a pint of milk and a bottle of wine to enjoy, after a really long drive and journey helped. We enjoyed the bacon and eggs for breakfast. Highly recommended stay.
Mark
This is an excellent place to stay with lovely hosts who really made us feel welcome and ensured that we had everything we needed when we arrived. The arrival hamper was such a blessing. Very well placed to visit many picturesque West Yorkshire towns and if youre feeling energetic for walking the moors, recovering with a relaxing dip in the excelle nt hot tub. If you want a day without the car a regular bus takes you to Bradford with easy links to Leeds. I can highly recommend staying here.
Anna
Really lovely property with a plush and cosy feel, lovely helpful owners too! There are lots of places to chill out and it feels really spacious, we especially loved the mezzanine area and the juke box is a great novelty. I hope to come back sometime!
Aimee
The Spice House was a gorgeous property that we stayed in. The pictures looked brilliant, but it was so much more when we arrived. The welcome basket was a real treat and the free juke box was fantastic! The hosts were so lovely and accommodating, showing us around the property, and how to use items. The hot tub was incredible, with the heated chan ging room an added bonus! Plenty of additional extras in the property, you could tell they really cared about you enjoying your stay!! Thank you!!
Lauren
A fabulous place to stay, we had the best time & have already booked to stay again next year!
Gill
The Spice House was a brilliant base for our break, the welcome pack was so full of variety and totally unexpected. House was super clean and hot tub finished off an excellent stay. Jo & Rob are the perfect hosts very helpful nothing was too much effort. House is furnished to a high finish, nothing was missing. We will be back for a second visit.
David
Ideal little gem for a break, very relaxing and the layout was ideal for us. Jo and Robert very accommodating and a thorough introduction into the working of everything the bungalow had to offer.
Sarah
The house was clean and tidy with alot of thoughtful touches. Especially liked the hot tub and the underfloor heating in the ensuite. The welcome was a nice addition to out stay. Netflix was a bonus too, when you want to relax and do nothing!
Karen
Stunning cottage, plenty of space to relax. Very clean, no expense spared on doing the place up. Lots of local walks, drying/changing room next to hot tub is great and fully enclosed. Perfect place to chill out and relax- highly recommended.
Graham
Superb house with very friendly and helpful owners. Rob & Jo were very generous with their Welcome Pack and had the property nicely decorated for Christmas - thank you! The house was spotless and we only dropped a star because the oven needed cleaning - an oversight by the cleaner company! Be aware that the wood burner is for display purposes only - the advert published by the agency gives the impression a fire can be lit, which was disappointing at first. Overall, a fabulous holiday rental!
Debbie
Amazing accommodation, amazing hosts! Wish I had booked a longer stay. Will definitely return.
