3 The Fairway Reviews

I took my mum away for 3 nights at this lovely lodge, it was set in a beautiful location and I couldn't believe it was only 5 miles from Hull. We woke up each morning to rabbits playing in the adjacent fields and we spent each night in the lovely hot tub, very private. The lodge was spotless and comfortable with the host leaving a lovely welcome package with bread, milk, chocolates, tea and coffee. It had everything you needed from fairy liquid to ttowels, hand soap, toilet roll etc. One of the evenings, I'd tried to adjust the heat setting and think that I changed something I shouldn't have resulting in the hot tub temp being lower the following evening. I rang the hosts number and spoke with Paul who is the son of the owners, he came out within 15 mins and stayed for half an hour to make sure that the temp had been returned to normal, he was polite, apologetic even though I think it was my fault !! he offered us more chocolate, tea, coffee....but we had plenty left from the welcome package, he also offered an extra evening for us to stay as no one else was booked in to the lodge.....for me those personal touches made mine and my mums stay lovelier. We also received a text letting us know the lodge was ready 3hrs earlier than check in time which was thoughtful. I tried to book again next week last minute!! typical me!! but unfortunately for us it was fully booked! We will be back again.....oh and the double bed was so comfortable, I struggled to drag myself out of it every morning!! Thank you Paul
We myself, husband, daughter and Son in Law, spent three night at the property, it wasn't long enough and was soon time to leave, sadly. The owners thought of everything, a lovely welcome basket of bread, milk and some chocolate, even a little chocolate on each of the bedside cabinets! I took alsorts of basics for the lodge, but I needn't have, as it was all there hand soap for the bathrooms and kitchen, washing up liquid, dishcloth and sponge, tea towels, kitchen roll, clothes washing pods, clingfilm and salt and pepper. It was really cosy. Comfy beds, plenty of drawer and wardrobe space, plenty of hangers. Board games were also provided like Trivial Pursuit and others. The lodge was tastefully decorated and well laid out for comfort. There was a washing machine in the out house and a tumble dryer, but we were unable to use the dryer as the wall on switch was locked in a box, shame as it would have been handy for the wet towels and swimwear after using the beautiful hot tub. All in all, a fantastic place, would highly recommend and we'd love a return visit.
Rebecca

We had a lovely stay at the cottage for my birthday. The cottage was lovely and clean and equipped with everything we needed. Hot tub was warm and private. We will be returning! Thank you.
A lovely lodge. Friendly helpful owners. Great it is in Leisure Complex. We did swimming and golf driving range. Visited Bridlington Animal Park and Let Loose at Beverley, both not far away and had 2 fun filled days there.

Can't praise it enough. Very comfortable ,extremely well equipped & we especially appreciated the spacious fridge & freezer to store all our Christmas food .It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The hot tub was amazing & we had memorable evenings sitting in it under the stars. The surroundings were great & our grandson loved the hot tub & the swimming pool at the golf club .All in all we had a memorable Christmas break.

I couldnt off asked for more! There was everything we needed and so much more! The bed was so comfy and it just felt like home.
Lynnette
A lovely lodge that was clean and spacious. The surrounding park was one of the nicest we have stayed in and all very well maintained. The hot tub at the property was an added bonus and very relaxing, and the nearby pool and restaurant facilities were very good. It was lovely to be met by our hosts Peter and Glenn who showed us around and were very helpful.
Elizabeth
Wonderful lodge in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Great private hot tub and use of leisure centre facilities which was never over crowded. Plenty of places to visit within easy reach, would definitely return.
Leanne
Great holiday. Lodge was lovely had everything we needed. Was disappointed to see that the tumble dryer plug was locked in a box so had no way of drying clothes. No clothes rail or anywhere to dry clothes especially after using the hot tub. Apart from that couldnt fault the lodge. Great location. Easy to get to places of interest around. Swimming pool had a lot of classes and adult only times so only managed to use the pool once as we had children with us.
Lovely welcome from the owners and neighbour's. Very clean and very well equipped. Use of leisure facilities at the golf club an added bonus, would definitely recommend, looking to book a return visit next year.
Amy-lauren
Excellent lodge with everything you could think of and more! We were more than comfortable and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch. Couldnt rate it any higher. Thanks to Peter and Glenn. Hoping to return soon.
A very nice property, well maintained and in a location that is great if you like to visit different types of attractions.
The lodge was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The hosts Peter and Glenn were there to meet us they were a lovely couple and gave us lots of information. They provided a welcome hamper which had all the essentials and treats. We used the leisure facilities which are free when you hire the lodge and only 5 minutes walk away. We would definitely recommend the lodge and we will be looking to going back next year.
Lovely host. Very clean property with everything you would need.
Andrew
Well established lodge which has all the equipment you require for a comfortable stay , location of lodge is tucked away from most of the other lodges and hot tub is also private. You have free access to facilities on site. Great location and within walking distance to Cottingham Village
Gaynor
Loverly clean cabin has everything you need, maybe just need a gate on the hott tub area to make it more private . , we used the leisure centre which was a bonus nice swimming pool and sauna at no extra charge. The owners explained how everything worked on our arrival. Would definitely stay here again.
We loved our stay and the owners could not have made more effort to ensure that our stay went perfectly. The lodge was very clean and comfortable and having the pool and bar area on site was an added perk. Would hope to return. Kind regards April and family.
We were met by the owner Peter on arrival. He showed us around the lodge and explained everything about using the facilities using the fobs. The lodge is beautiful and the owners provide everything you could need. The hot tub was a great way to relax after the days out around the area. Not far from eating establishments or shopping. We were made to feel at home and we will definitely be going back.
Beautiful location and accommodation.
Nathan
Absolutely fantastic stay in the lodge. Hosts were really brilliant and we will definitely be booking again in the future.

Richard
Thank you for a lovely holiday. The owners couldnt of been more helpful. The lodge is lovely. Very comfortable and everything you would need. Hot tub is excellent. Use of the leisure facilities at the Cottingham golf club and spa was excellent. Lovely swimming pool and bar for food and drink after. All round very pleased. Thank you
Kirsten
The lodge was immaculate! The welcome basket was very much appreciated and such a thoughtful touch. The property had everything we needed including board games and of course the heavenly hot tub! You can tell the hosts had given much thought into the comfort and experience of their guests. Literally the only negative of our trip was that online it says there is a hairdryer and we couldnt find one and unfortunately didnt get a reply when enquiring about its location, but that didnt detract from our amazing break away
Alexandra
Just a lovely property nothing was too much trouble the hot tub was amazing and there were ample facilities
What an amazing stay at 3 The Fairway. Our hosts Peter and Glynn were there to welcome us both at the venue and went through everything we needed to know about the property and its facilities. A welcome brochure with details of surrounding places to visit and restaurants was also very helpful. We can't give our hosts or the venue enough praise, and the hot tub was a great way to unwind at the end of the day. Thank you both so very much for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be returning and recommend you to others. Paolo and Lindesey.
