The lodge is stunning looking out over the hills and with changing seasons the landscape constantly looks different. Owner William came past to check everything was ok as temperature had plummeted during the night & he offered additional heaters should we need them but honestly the place is so cosy that we didnt need it. Sitting in hottub looking oRead moreut at the night sky - not a bad way to shut off, relax, just breathe & enjoy. Love love love Hide

Cuddles lodge was all we expected and more. The lodge and hot tub were great and the location was amazing! We used the lodge as a base to explore Scotland in the day and relax in the evening, watching the amazing stars . The peace and quiet was wonderful, waking in the morning to the farm animals and the mist on the hills was beautiful. Places we w ould suggest - Jedburgh , Peebles and Falkirk (Kelpies) are a must . The horseshoe pub Eddleston was a great find too! We will be back !

Excellent location with stunning views - we loved there are only two lodges so lots of privacy and quiet as it made you feel like you were in a location on your own Lodge is lovely with everything you need with excellent facilities. Outside was great with the hot tub (covered if it rained although we had great weather), table and chairs and decking with a gate if you had a dog like we did so they cannot wander off. Owners were very friendly and on hand if needed.

The housing was lovely, situated in quite a rural area with not much around it was quiet peaceful. The hot tub was used practically every day at some point, it was so lovely of an evening especially when it was clear skies. I would recommend this little getaway to anyone as it was worth the money and was such a nice few nights away from reality jus t to relax and recharge.

Cottage had everything you needed for a short stay. Hot Tub was covered away from the elements but you can still see the sky. The cabin was always warm with Views of the hillside and the night sky. Owners were very friendly and made you feel welcome. We stayed during storm Dudley, gear box in the car went William was kind enough to tow us up the hi ll where mechanic came out and fixed everything. Despite the storm the cabin was still peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely come back.

Me and my partner stayed 5 nights at the cuddies lodge and loved it!! We climbed the grey mares tail waterfall, went to st.Marys Loch, found Hawick Waterfall and got to go to Edingburgh and the Zoo, Xmas markets and the Castle! and after all that coming back to the lodge and going into the hot tub with some bubbly was bliss. Mr and Mrs Fleming were also very friendly and helped us out when we needed.
Sonia
We had such a fantastic stay at Cuddies Lodge. I was worried that it might feel a little like camping but it was far from it! The Lodge is luxurious, homely, warm and everything worked perfectly. The Hot tub was the icing on the cake, with the views over the beautiful hills we never would have dreamt we'd be eating our breakfast outide in Scotland in November but it was just so stunning! I hope we're able to come back one day.
