Lovely well presented place to sit back and relax for a week. Great location for the local area with easy access to both rural areas and the benefits of amenities 5 minutes away. The supply of the basics and the lovely teacakes and biscuits was a special touch. Thoroughly recommend a stay here.

I found the mattress sagged a bit in the middle but very clean

We've just had a fantastic little holiday at this lovely cottage. It was a family break for my 60th birthday and so there were 5 adults, my 13 month old grandson and a pug dog. The cottage easily accommodated us all comfortably. The accommodation was spotless and the owners had added a lovely welcome pack of essentials as well as some luxuries for our arrival. The hottub is fantastic and was used daily after being out all day. Loved that the owners seemed to have thought of everything, 5

Lovely house and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Great to have an enclosed garden for the dog and the hot tub was lovely. Ideally located on the outskirts of Galashiels meant very easy access to the town by walking or driving and easy to get on the main road to the other border towns as well. A lovely relaxing stay and t he house was immaculately clean on our arrival. I would highly recommend as a base to explore the borders area.

A fabulous base to explore the local area. The cottage was clean, spacious and very well equipped, the welcome pack on arrival was a lovely touch. Our dog loved the garden and we enjoyed having the large and comfortable hot tub to relax in after a few long walks. There are two stations nearby, Galashiels and Tweedbank where you can get the train to Edinburgh in less than an hour. I would highly recommend this cottage for a stay in the Borders, there are so many things to do and see in the area.

The cottage was beautifully presented. The welcome essentials and treats were very much appreciated even treats for the dogs. The hot tub was amazing and a lovely garden to relax in.
Victoria
Fabulous , spacious cottage, immaculately clean, the hot tub was fantastic. We did not expect the fantastic welcome tray, that was a lovely touch. The hotel, 200 yards away, provides a lovely place to relax, have a drink and the food is of exceptional quality. This was the most relaxing holiday we have had in years!!
Connor
The cottage is lovely and cleanliness was. Excellent the cottage itself was lovely great location , the cottage had all the essentials that were needed . The welcome pack was a lovely surprise including having some treats for the dogs . Only downside was the garden due to the garden not being very secure for dogs . So had to Put something there to stop them from getting onto the main road . Overall very happy with the holiday and the owners were lovely only a text or call away if needed
Jean
What a lovely house! Very quiet area and perfect for exploring the borders. The house was very clean with comfortable beds and the welcome pack was excellent. Our dog settled in right away and enjoyed her treats from the welcome pack. The hot tub was lovely for relaxing after a day walking. This really was a home from home.
Laura
Fantastic home for a break. The hot tub was an added bonus. Our two dogs loved the wrap around garden. Only slight downside was that the back garden wasnt secure. An opening leads to stairs to the main road. Can be covered with a male shift fence of some kind though. Highly recommend this property.
Kirsty

Very comfortable, well equipped cottage. Hot tub was an added bonus especially as they provided towels and robes for it as well as checking it every day. Garage for bikes was another bonus. Would stay again if in the area.
Sharon
Very comfortable home owners had thought of everything. Welcome pack best we've ever had. Hot tub great to relax in and checked daily with towels and gowns provided. Would recommend and return
Jean
This is a really comfortable house with lovely bed, shower and hot tub. It was very clean, quiet and warm. It is a good distance from the town so need to drive there. If you have a dog you need to be aware that the garden is not enclosed. Although it has 2 double bedrooms I don't think 4 adults would find it suitable as there is only one bathroom.
Scott
We had a lovely stay, the house was immaculate and in a nice quiet area. We very much enjoyed using the hot tub and use of the BBQ was a nice touch. Great value for money and would love to stay again.
Melanie

Lorna-ann
Really impressed! It was absolutely spotless! Huge clean hot tub too. plenty of towels, kitchen very well equipped plates, glasses, cutlery, utensils, cleaning stuff etc plus a lovely welcome pack which was a lovely unexpected surprise. The owners have put a lot of thought into the little things like subdued lighting for the evening and other small things. They have tried very hard to create a homey comfortable space. I cant wait to book again In my top 3 stays ever
