The lodge was in a beautiful scenery set overlooking fields on to the Irish Sea. Still within easy access to the access roads, but far enough away not to be disturbed by the traffic. The lodge itself was top drawer quality. Absolutely pristine clean with all top quality equipment for use, no half measures were taken. The beds were IMO, perfect, lov ely spacious living area and open plan cooking and eating island kitchen. The hot tub most certainly the cherry on the cake . Absolute luxury.

Lovely place to stay, the hot tub is a real highlight and so nice in the evenings after long walks in the galloway forest! Everything is thought of and all the finishes are of the highest quality. The sea view is lovely to wake up to in the morning as are the cows! Not much in the vicinity other than a pub but plenty of places to visit near by. Wou ld reccomend the Bladnoch distillery for fans of whiskey!

First self catering place we have stayed at which had all that we needed. The small things; salt pepper, sugar, a pizza cutter. The tech things; state of art TV's, bluetooth speakers. The comfort things: loads of hot water, good heating system and a bottle of plonk! If you want to relax and chill out in comfort this is the place.
