The lodge was in a beautiful scenery set overlooking fields on to the Irish Sea. Still within easy access to the access roads, but far enough away not to be disturbed by the traffic. The lodge itself was top drawer quality. Absolutely pristine clean with all top quality equipment for use, no half measures were taken. The beds were IMO, perfect, lov ely spacious living area and open plan cooking and eating island kitchen. The hot tub most certainly the cherry on the cake . Absolute luxury.

Fantastic accommodation with beautiful views. Everything about the lodge is spot on -it's even better than in the photos. Could not fault it in any way. Lovely friendly host. We had a wonderful relaxing break and would love to return. Highly recommended - fabulous.
Rasa
The best short break we had in years!! Absolutely stunning and well maintained property with everything needed for the holiday (and even more). The lodge was clean enough for my OCD :) Janice and Derek were absolute starts!! Great communication and advise regarding places to eat or visit! A bottle of bubbly and fresh flowers were a very nice touch! Due to the location, there wasn't much to do around it, however, that was perfect for us! Just stunning view of the sea was more than enough
Phil
Excellent accommodation, lovely hosts, outstanding views. Hot tub is a huge bonus! Could not fault it, will definitely return!
Pete
Absolutely wonderful few days away. Spotlessly clean, wonderfully well appointed and a spectacular location. The bottle of fizz and fresh flowers were a great touch. We will definitely return.
Laura
Lovely place to stay, the hot tub is a real highlight and so nice in the evenings after long walks in the galloway forest! Everything is thought of and all the finishes are of the highest quality. The sea view is lovely to wake up to in the morning as are the cows! Not much in the vicinity other than a pub but plenty of places to visit near by. Wou ld reccomend the Bladnoch distillery for fans of whiskey!
Daniel
Great accommodation. Had everything we needed and the hot tub was fantastic. Hosts were very helpful.
Kim
The lodge is amazing, stayed for our honeymoon, out of season so not much open around us but it was so lovely and peaceful and so many beautiful places to visit and walk around. The lodge has everything you need, we even baked biscuits one day with our toddler. Its a home from home but extra special. The bottle of bubbles on arrival abs the hot tub just top it all off as perfect
Helen
Beautiful views, beautiful lodge, beautiful gardens, beautiful hot tub (well maintained & cleaned throughout our week there!). Immaculately clean with very welcoming hosts, so many extras which arent mentioned in the listings too like tea, coffee etc & the flowers & fizz were very thoughtful extra touches too. I read other reviews before we went & thought it sounded too good to be true but the place is worthy of every one. Hands down the best holiday let we have every stayed in! Loved it!
John
First self catering place we have stayed at which had all that we needed. The small things; salt pepper, sugar, a pizza cutter. The tech things; state of art TV's, bluetooth speakers. The comfort things: loads of hot water, good heating system and a bottle of plonk! If you want to relax and chill out in comfort this is the place.
