Christopher
We didn't really want to leave the farm. We were looking for a relaxing time away and we found it here. We'll definitely be back, I'm already missing the milkshakes and Julie the horse haha.
A unique experience in a lovely peaceful surround, we loved every minute of our stay, waking up to beautiful ponies and sheep in the field next to us was an added bonus, the only negative would be that there was not many places to eat out and with only having a microwave in the Shepherds hut was a bit of a challenge but on saying that we managed perfectly well, maybe if we had just been a month earlier we would have made good use of the BQ.

Lovely spot for a peaceful break, hut was cosy and warm when logburner was lit, ... Lovely spot for a peaceful break, hut was cosy and warm when logburner was lit, not much to do around the area but found some good walks, would visit again
We loved staying in the Shepherd's Hut. We had the loveliest time.

The Shepherds Hut was fabulous! It's position on the farm is great with private garden area and parking. Its been very nicely converted and was really comfortable and cosy. Having the log burner indoors was perfect but we also appreciated the electric kettle for a quick cuppa! The gas BBQ is great as was the toasty shower. We added breakfast and BBQ packs and the contents were delicious. Our labrador pup loved the Shetland ponies and the sheep right beside us even when the ponies decided to moonlight laps around their field!! The hut is really well equipped and kitted out the only suggestions we had was perhaps a hook on the inside of the door for coats and something heavy or a hook to hold the door open coz the boot rack stops the door going all the way back to the original hook. The outdoor light and solar lights around the path were perfect for evening and the torch was appreciated too but the dark skies were perfect for watching the stars. We explored the whole area and found lots of great walks, swims and places to eat!
Michelle
Fabulous location The area is so quiet and peaceful. It is a working diary farm so there are smells of the country all around. The hut itself is just as advertised and we enjoyed a lovely week walking around the area and simply relaxing with nature all around. The hosts are very approachable and nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to just get away from it all and relax.
Jeanette
We had a fabulous stay,at Ketburn Shepherds Hut. Chloe and Gavin, were perfect hosts, and have obviously put a lot of thought into their lovely hut.It has everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing break. The outside space was ideal for our dog Jake, who could safely come and go at his leisure.Had great fun exploring the area, and the coastal scenery is totally breathtaking.Thankyou too for the welcome pack, much appreciated.
We enjoyed our stay at Ketburn Shepherds Hut, its beautifully designed and has everything we needed. Very peaceful surroundings if you need to get away! One thing that could probably help would be a door mat inside of the hut, just in case of the rain! We would definitely be back for another weekend away on the farm!
Kristina
The setting of the hut was beautiful , surrounded by lovely countryside! Great to have the farm animals close by. Hosts were very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! We were very lucky to have beautiful weather, which was an added bonus! The property is ideal for couples to get away from it all relax and unwind just what we needed Would definitely recommend this property with great hosts. We will be back !!
