Best cottage we have ever rented. Welcome pack with milk, bread and treats was lovely. Owners have thought of everything for cooking, BBQ's in the garden, fold up chairs for picnics, umbrellas (we didn't need as weather great), shower gels, shampoo, conditioner etc and even dog bowls, beds, treats as well. 4 of us with 2 dogs had a great week, withRead more walks in forest, to the 2 local pubs (both dog friendly) and butcher in village for BBQ supplies. Already looking to book again later/next year Hide
Andy
Beautiful cottage... Lovely location... Well equipped. My wife wants to buy it!

A beautiful cottage in a good location. With 5 Adults, two dogs and a baby, we welcomed the double rooms and ensuits for all and the enclosed garden. Lots of useful items like dog bowls and beds, high chair and cot. Nice walks from the doorstep. A quite road with an easy walk to two pubs and a village shop. The butchers was fab for bbq food and the deli made a good coffee. A fabulous break in a great area.
Kate

Very well thought out accommodation, with many little touches including items for doggy guests. Very good quality furniture, bedding, kitchen equipment and soft furnishings. Styled in keeping with being a cottage and in the New Forest. Accommodation very clean, outdoor space perfect especially with the the spa. To note, stairs are steep, so if you have mobility issues there is one bedroom downstairs. We would definitely recommend and hope to return. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Elizabeth
What a beautifully clean and well thought out cottage with hot tub. Our party consisted of a couple in their fifties and a couple in their twenties. We enjoyed cooking together in the well-equipped kitchen , running in the nearby countryside and relaxing in the hot tub. We also hired bicycles from Brokenhurst and enjoyed a meal at the Ship Inn in L ymington Highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing break.
Hannah
This property was amazing, we felt the pictures don't do it justice, it was even nicer than we expected. It had more home comforts than any other place that either we or our friends have stayed. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. Lots of games as well and the welcome basket was a really lovely touch. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
Susan

6 adults in our family group we had such a lovely visit. We were all surprised by the wonderful decor and amenities provided. The welcome basket was much appreciated. All the games provided helped us bring back some fun times and the hot tube was the icing on the cake.
Kim
I would recommend this rental home to anyone. The home itself is lovely, clean, tidy, spacious and extremely comfortable beds. The rooms are very spacious and the downstairs areas are perfect for socialising with friends and families. There is a co-op just a 15 minute walk or a 3 minutes drive but we arranged for a food shop to be delivered which w orked really well. The garden area is beautiful and the treat of having a hot tub just makes it even more relaxing.
Sarah
This was a fantastic place to stay. It had everything we needed and was a perfect place to spend February half term. Our son now wants his own double bed, because he enjoyed sleeping in one so much. It was a great central location for exploring the New Forest. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Rebecca
Dolittle Cottage was absolutely charming. Such a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The facilities were great. Its cosy in the winter, but I imagine very lovely in the summer with the lovely garden space. The hot tub and log burner were great additions and we made good use of both. Small touches like an honesty box for additional logs was such a good idea (although not needed as a generous supply given). We would certainly stay again if in the area!
Sarah
Beautiful cottage highly recommend
lauren
The cottage was absolutely beautiful- it had everything we needed and catered for the dog so well. The little touches like the hamper left on the table was so lovely, the log burner was so cosy, hot tub was brilliant, bbq was fab ( yes we used this in mid jan!) and location was perfect. Would highly recommend and will def be booking again.

This is a really lovely cottage and very well equipped. The proximity to the heathlands and forests was a godsend and allowed us to completely relax and walk the dogs straight from the door. The owners have thought of lots of finishing touches to really make the stay stress-free and we'd love to go back again soon.
