This was our first time at Forest Escape, and we were not disappointed. On arrival we were met by Matt who was very helpful and showed us to the cottage, which we found to be clean and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen and cupboard space for our food items. We enjoyed the welcome pack items, thank you. The cottage is well situated to visit a lot of areas a short drive away, ideal for a lot of walking trails, so we found the week very relaxing and slept well in the comfy bed.
Tracy
This is a lovely comfortable cottage with a nice secluded garden area. The hot tub was a nice bonus! The comfort of the bed and the sofa was really good so helped us to relax fully. Great off street parking facility available which gave us peace of mind overnight. If wanting to walk and leave the car; be aware that there is a busy road to use witho ut footpaths for the 1st couple of minutes. In the car we were close to Lymington which is a great place to visit.

This is a beautiful Scandinavian style lodge. The owners have put a great deal of thought into this property. The hot tub was a bonus and we would certainly book this property again. Very dog and small child friendly with a secure fenced garden.
Ian
The cottage was perfect. It was also set in its own private area complete with swing seat , garden seating, barbecue and hot tub!
Joanna
This property was amazing. Its was everything we wanted and the hot tub was a bonus. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. It was located with the beach 15 mins one way and walks in the forest 10 mins the other way so location was great. You can't walk from the property due to the roads and no pathways but that didn't bother us. 2 lovely pubs a few minutes down the road. Overall really great stay, perfect for dogs too.
Lee
Great accommodation and the perfect base to visit the wonderful area. The hot tub was a very welcome addition to rest our weary legs after a long day exploring! And the fully enclosed garden meant we could let pooch roam around without worrying! Will definitely be back and wouldnt hesitate to recommend to anyone else. Thanks for everything x
Lisa
Beautiful accommodation, would book again. Hot tub a bonus , after the lovely scenic walks.
Steve
The owners went above and beyond to make our trip special, the cottage was everything we wanted and more. I would highly recommend to anyone.
Ben
Great little spot in the heart of the New Forest. Cottage was clean and tidy, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, sofa and eating areas. Garden was 100% secure for our dog and the hot tub was brilliant. You can't really walk anywhere from the cottage but this wasn't an issue for us. Great walking all around but can recommend Wilverley inclosure, Blac kwater and Highcliffe. Can recommend fish and chips from Deep Blue in Lymington, Pig Beer just down the road and Daisy's garden cafe at Setley Ridge.
