A short journey away, from the South Downs National Park, and enveloped by a host of amenities, walking trails and attractions, the home offers the ideal base for a family or group celebration, providing 1.3 acres of private gardens, a hot tub, and a characterful interior.

Park up on the private driveway before entering the open-plan living space, dotted with state-of-the-art appliances and space to unwind whilst enjoying meals as a group. Head outdoors for an alfresco affair, where you can take a dip in the hot tub, visit the on-site pigs, enjoy a tipple in the bar, and make the most of your tranquil setting, before returning indoors to the sitting room, adorning original beamed ceilings, exposed brickwork and a woodburning stove.

When sleep calls, select from four well-presented bedrooms, including a king-size with en-suite, two doubles, and a single with a mezzanine space, also housing two further doubles for convenience, all serviced by a sleek bathroom, housing both an indulgent roll-top bath and walk-in shower. Awaken with a stroll if the grounds before exploring the local town, with the chance to tour Godalming Museum, play a round of golf at the Hurtmore Golf Club, or hike across Witley and Milford Commons, or Winkworth Arboretum, both beautiful areas peppered with wildflowers and woodland.

A short journey away reach Birdworld, Go Ape Alice Holt for an adrenaline-filled activity, or brush up on your local knowledge at the Rural Life Living Museum. Guildford is nearby, home to an abundance of artistic and cultural landmarks, including Guildford Museum, Guildford Castle, and the River Wey, before travelling further into the national park.

RHS Garden Wisley is an excellent choice for a day trip, offering excellent value for money all year round. A yearly membership is available so visitors can take advantage of the parks attractions as often as they wish. On entry to the park visitors can pick up a family trail which offers suggestions of places within the grounds to visit and explains all the fun things to do in the garden. There are many areas to explore including the beautiful Rose Garden, the amazing Glasshouse and the Café which served home made locally sourced food.
Petworth House and Park - GU28 9LR

This National Trust Property is based in Petworth, West Sussex and makes a fantastic day out especially on warm summer days.  The impressive 17th Century mansion is at the heart of the attraction and there is 700 acres of parkland to explore.  Highlights of this attraction apart from the stunning grounds and mansion are the National Trust's largest painting and sculpture collection and year round horticultural interest in the Pleasure Ground.
