4 Hedgerows Reviews

Andrea
Wasnt exceptionally clean around the edges but overall superb. Went to use restaurant but was told we couldnt eat in as not booked, had this been mentioned on the paperwork it would of saved a lot of effort to make it in there as I was on crutches.
We were really really amazed at how true to the sales blurb it was. The lodge itself was comfortable and well laid out and included little extras like a coffee machine! Staff and neighbours were all so friendly & helpful. Would also thoroughly recommend the Old Mill restaurant.
Katrina
We stayed at 4 Hedgerows for a week mid August. Everything was brilliant about the stay, from the communication beforehand with Sally, to the cleanliness and facilities inside the property. The location was brilliant for visiting places like Looe and Polperro would definitely recommend going if you haven't before, beautiful and it was even an easy journey across to Newquay and Holywell Bay albeit about an hour. The site was clean, modern and really quiet, we didn't really hear anyone else the entire stay. The restaurant on site was nice and served a good selection of dishes too. Would definitely recommend and return.
This was our second visit to Stonerush Lakes and we really enjoyed our stay once again. The lodge was lovely and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.
Amazing location for our Cornish stay and beautiful surroundings
We were so impressed with 4 Hedgerows from the minute we arrived! The house is fabulous, the place was immaculate, and the quality of the furnishings and equipment were fantastic. Stonerush Lakes is a great place to relax and unwind, and the wrap around decking and the hot tub were an added bonus. I dont think we have every been on a holiday where the location made us so relaxed. The holiday home was in an ideal position for access to loads of great harbour villages, also very close to The Edn Project, The lost Gardens of Heligan and even the north coast. We went on fabulous day trips to Falmouth, Newquay, Tintagel and many more. I cant recommend 4 Hedgerows enough! Fantastic
I cannot fault my stay with my family, everthing was considered and catered for 100. We will be definitely returning and recommending to others. I have stayed in numerous places, by far this was the best and are short break is by far a memorable one. If I could have any quarm it would be an earliar check in and a later check out, however are whole experience was great, thankyou to all involved in making are stay as lovely as it was. Well done to all. See you soon.
Eleanor
What a wonderful stay we had at Hedgerows. From beginning to end, it was such a home from home. We couldn't fault it. From the kitchen facilities to the bedrooms, all were of a high standard. The hot tub was perfect every evening after fun filled days out, with such privacy too. We would recommend Hedgerows 100. If we had one little snag it would be the wasps on the front decking. We believe they were enjoying the unvarnished table and chairs that sat out the front. Unfortunately we couldn't sit outside the front as there were too many, although we didn't have them so much around the hot tub area. We did email charter oaks regarding the problem. Anyway, it didn't spoil our stay , we had a lovely time and would visit again.

We absolutely loved this place and could not fault it! It was spotlessly clean spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The site is so peaceful and our lodge was lovely and felt very private with hedges at either side of us. The hot tub was a fantastic addition which we made good use of at least twice a day. Only 15 minutes from Looe it was a great location for us after a busy day at the beach this place was the perfect place to come back to. We were grateful that the property had a washer dryer and iron so we didn't need to take many clothes or bring back lots of washing We were all very sad to leave and would love to return! Thankyou Stone rush and sykes for a fantastic stay!
Tranquil setting, a lovely log cabin would go again. Glad the hot tub was checked every day by a company. It would be good if there was a fan, also a simple welcome pack with instructions, as there were 2 files in the drawer with booklets warranty. Also I think the cleaner should check drawers as I presume it was the person before us left underwear?
Property in lovely surroundings, couple niggles no information folder on anything would have helped. Also no oven gloves . Hot tub was amazing to come back to after a day out . Would definitely recommend to others
Christine
Very pleased with the quality of the lodge and the facilities. It was an ideal location for a relaxing holiday. An information pack about the local area would have been useful.
Keiron
A lovely holiday home in a beautiful setting. We had a wonderful week and a truly relaxing time. I would definitely recommend staying at this lovely place.
Alastair
Great accommodation, modern, clean and tidy. Very secluded, quiet and peaceful. A suggestion would be to add signing on the hot tub to indicate that its best to wait 24hrs to give it time to warm up having just been serviced. Also possibly add details on recycling process of household waste.
4 Hedgerows was a real home from home and we loved it there! Just a small thing, Cushions on the sun loungers would have made them more comfortable to sit on, but assumed it was because of Covid they were not available. The kitchen cold tap was faulty. We reported it and maintenance did come and mend it but it only worked for a short time. We reported it again before we left. All in all a wonderful holiday and the weather was amazing!
Melanie
Unfortunately we couldn't get the tumble dryer to work probably us. We reported broken tap in kitchen but it wasn't repaired before our departure. Restaurant good but limited vegetarian options, staff very friendly. We had an amazing stay, helped by the glorious weather. Thank you
The lodge was fine, part from precleaning could have been better vacuum cleaning was cursory.
Stephen
Really enjoyed our stay
We had a fantastic stay. The lodge was amazing and the location was so peaceful. My only advice would be to not follow the postcode using Google maps but to input Stonerush lakes instead as maps takes you to a dead end could try lane on the wrong side of the lakes. My only criticism would be that there was only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom for a 3 night stay for 4 women this wasn't ideal. Particularly with no shop on site. There is also a coffee machine in the kitchen but with no coffee pods supplied and no prior warning to bring your own, it was pretty useless. Otherwise a gorgeous lodge, relaxing stay and peaceful location.
Staff was lovely at first and very welcoming. very different reception second day and at dinner. made us want to leave
