The property has stunning views across open countryside with sea glimpses toward the coast at Burton Bradstock, with its beautiful sandy beach.
The village pub, the New Inn, is a walk away from the house. The village of Shipton Gorge had its first reference in the Domesday book of 1086 and the term dates from Norman times when the De Gorge family held the manor.
There are a network of public footpaths to be explored. The village has an early 15th Century church and lovely village pub, the New Inn.
The harbour town of West Bay is close by, the backdrop for popular Broadchurch, whilst the picturesque resort of Lyme Regis is within 10 miles. A superb base for exploring wonderful West Dorset and the Jurassic.
