We loved our stay at the Aurora it had everything you needed, we enjoyed our stay, but would recommend more lighting around the hot tub .
Yvonne
Another fabulous fortnight spent at Aurora! We love staying here, it has everything we need and is really comfortable. Lovely walks and historical places to visit all around Trearddur Bay, Holy Island and Anglesey and nice places to eat without travelling too far.
Sheila
A lovely bungalow with everything you could need wouldnt hesitate to go back
Such a beautiful property in a very quiet road with an enclosed garden perfect for our dogs. The bungalow was very clean and well maintained, nice touches, like the garden shed full of everything we needed to either play in the garden or a trip to the beach, which is a 2 minute drive or less than a 10 minute walk. Was lucky enough to meet the owner and his passion and enthusiasm to make everyones holiday very special, means this property will only get better and better. Best Sykes property weve been to 1010
Lovely well equipped holiday home, well maintained fabulous garden and hot tub all within walking distance of beach, shops and restaurants. We would definitely love to return.
I must say, that this is the best holiday home that we have stayed in,and we have stayed in a few. It is situated in a nice quiet area. It was spotlessly clean, had everything that you needed. The hot tub was amazing.Dogs enjoyed the garden, not far from the supermarkets. The only thing that I would suggest, when we were reading through the info book, there was no phone number of a vet,we didn't need one,but it could be handy. Thankyou for the lovely stay in a beautiful home.
Super property , well maintained , location in a nice quiet road around 15 mins walk from Treaddur Bay and Holyhead supermarkets. The area is very good for walking with great bays and coves to explore Would recommend
We had a lovely stay in Aurora cottage. The cottage was great and had everything we needed. The garden was fab totally enclosed so safe for the dog. We really enjoyed the hot tub too. It was in a great spot, close to shops and the beach. We spent a lot of time on the amazing beach and little coves close by. We will book again.

This cottage met our expectations and more, we have a 3year old and 6 year old and this place was just perfect for little ones, the garden was just incredible and super safe with it being enclosed, the hot tub, play frame and shed full of kids garden toys was the added bonus. We will definitely be booking again. Inside felt like home from home it had everything we needed and more. All in all the best place we have ever stayed at!
Shirley
We had a truly amazing holiday this bungalow had everything we needed it was clean and comfortable the garden is a dream for children and adults and we made good use of the hot tub. Overall a fab property and we hope to return next year.

Aurora was a beautiful house to stay in, it was spotlessly clean when we arrived and it did not disappoint. The garden was gorgeous and the hot tub was fantastic. The area it's in is very quiet and is only a short walk to Trearddur bay beach, which is one of the nicest beaches I've ever visited, we took our dog and visited just the side of the beach for dogs and it was lovely, the sea was so clear. Would definatly stay again.
Most important things were fine but a few minor things to add to them were a shower mat for getting a shower bath very slippery we bought one, lots of children's toys and videos but not a lot for adults such as books especially about the island, some ref books about walks & places to go a pen would have been useful. a multy spray & cloth would have been ok to clean worktops and sink. Not complaining just a suggestion.
Yvonne
We spent another fabulous fortnight at Aurora and would definitely like to return. The place was warm and inviting when we arrived and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The owners were really helpful and we felt privileged to stay in their lovely bungalow.
This is a lovely bungalow in a quiet road, it was very clean, little lad enjoyed ... This is a lovely bungalow in a quiet road, it was very clean, little lad enjoyed playing on the swing and couldnt get him out of the hot tub, would definitely recommend this place you wont be disappointed
Sharon
Loved our holiday to Trearddur Bay. Stunning scenery and lots of different walks for my dog Lola. The cottage was everything I expected and more. Very cosy and comfortable with an eclosed garden keeping Lola safe and secure whilst we were in the hot tub. Can't wait to book again for later this year
Nicola
A wonderful little bungalow that is finished to a high standard throughout. Can tell the owner has put a lot of thought and effort into presenting this property. Only reason Ive not given 5 stars is because there seemed to be dog hairs in every room, but should have read before we arrived that pets were accepted. Overall, this bungalow is a lovely finish and a great base for exploring the island as a couple or small family.

We stayed at this property over Christmas and it was absolutely lovely. We try and go away for Christmas every year, and always use Sykes. We thought the cottage we stayed in last year would take some beating but this was on par with it. Its always important to us that wherever we stay is safe and secure for our dog when shes outside, and this was 100 secure. Another big deal for us is a hot tub, and again, this didnt disappoint. Perfectly located in the garden so we could see our 2 year old daughter sat in her high chair in the living room watching cartoons and falling to sleep, without constantly getting out to check on her. Everywhere was immaculately clean. Great location, a 5 minute drive from 3 major supermarkets where we got our Christmas food from. 55 minute drive to the Watkin path on Snowdon, so I was happy to do a bit of hiking whilst there too! Couldnt fault anything at all. We only booked this property 24 hours prior to arriving, so very last minute. The owner had left a Christmas present under the tree for my daughter, so I thought that was a very nice touch considering the time frames. Thanks for a great stay!
Elaine
We had a lovely winter break at Aurora. It is a clean and comfortable bungalow with a large garden in a quiet location ideal for a relaxing holiday.
Alison
Lovely little bungalow in a very quiet neighbourhood. Having had Trearddur Bay in my life for over 37 years Dad lives there I know the area like 'home'. It's a great resort at any time of the year with a fabulous sandy beach, fantastic views and a few good restuarants, all within walking distance. The bungalow itself could do with a kitchen 'upgrade'. The crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment was very good, with everything you could need, but the worktops and cooker etc were a little 'tired'. The furniture was comfortable, as was the bed. Outside was excellent. Huge garden, being a corner plot which is secure for dogs except gap behind the garage, which our schnauzer sniffed out within 10 mins of arriving. Lots of play equipment for children too. Overlooked by 3 properties behind. The hot tub... reason for booking this actual property... whilst it is very large, perfect temperature... we were absolutely gutted as the lights were broken. We love to use the hot tub around 6pm to enjoy the lights etc. I spoke with the owner who explained the entire hot tub was broken the week before and whilst it was usable for us, the lights had not been repaired. I know this is not a major issue, but for us it certainly spoilt our enjoyment, sitting in the dark!!!! Outside lighting could be improved too as uplighting in the decking is not adequate and is blinding, whilst trying to stumble about putting the hot tub cover back on.
Yvonne
A lovely little holiday property in Trearddur Bay. Had most of the things we needed for a two week holiday, except a bath mat and dishcloth which we had to buy. Hot tub was fabulous but instructions and chemicals should be left to keep the water clean for 2 weeks.
It was a nice place to stay. Very clean and tidy it was comfortable as well. Also nice and quiet in the cal de sac where it is situated, nice large garden for dog to run about in. This is the place people should stay at and only ten minutes walk to the beach as well. The owners have done a good job with things in the place. The only criticism i have is that it could do with Sky TV.
Had a fantastic week here from 20th 27th Aug. Cottage was clean and facilities brilliant. Garden was a big plus, we didnt realise quite how much space there was when we booked, our daughter loved it. The shed full of outdoor activities was a great touch and is something above and beyond what weve experienced elsewhere. One of the main reasons for booking was the hot tub and it didnt disappoint. We loved going in each evening after a fun filled day down at the beach, which is close enough to walk too. We loved our stay and are already looking to book again next year.
Aurora is a lovely find, clean and comfortable has everything you need, a real home from home. Lovely and quiet in a residential area with friendly neighbours. The garden is great our daughter who is 7 never came inside when we were at the property and its extremly secure for your dog. The hot tub was very clean, they have lots of outside solar powered lights too looks very pretty in the evening. They have an awesome shed full of games and toys for outside or nets for taking to the beach. You are a 10 minute easy walk to the beach which is dog friendly on half of the beach from RNLI to the middle really early morning you get the beach more or less to yourself if you enjoy a early morning walk or swim. Within 5 minute drive to 3 major supermarkets Aldi, Morrisons and Tesco extra but the village has a Spar too for essentials . You can walk to 3 lovely restaurants Sea Shanty which has pay and display next to it for the beach Seahost and a rather expensive but great for a drink Oceans Edge. If you would like fish and chips takeaway Enochs prides itself in using its own blend of sunflower oil is awesome 10 minute drive and you can order and pay online. For the restaurants I highly recommend pre booking peak season as you will struggle to get a table this can be done online also. We cooked and used the oven a couple of times as my family like my homemade pizza, I'm used to fan assisted ovens so it took me to the 3rd pizza to get my timings right lol. This is a lovely spot we really enjoyed the area butterfly farm is worth a visit and a couple of Nationsl Trust sites were a great find. There is so much to explore Cemaes is lovely with the world's largest parking ticket
Great accommodation for a family with dogs. Loved the house, garden, hot tub, outdoor toys for kids and closeness to beach. Will hopefully be visiting again.
Angela
Beautiful well equipped cottage. Ideal location. Quiet peaceful area close to wonderful eateries. Can highly recommend The White Eagle, Seacroft and The Oyster Catcher. The cottage is close to fabulous beaches ideal for paddle boarding and Kayaking. Plenty of beaches to take doggies as well. We throughly enjoyed our time at Aurora.
Lovely location, very quiet and a short walk to the beach! Property has everything you need, garden is gorgeous and the hot tub amazing! We didn't go with children but if you do the shed is crammed with all sorts of games and toys! King size bed would be good but otherwise a lovely stay, thank you.
