Beudy Tyddyn Reviews

Christopher
Beudy Tyddyn is exactly as described and has all the facilities required for a week away, the little extra touches like the welcome pack were very much appreciated. William, Leah and family are excellent hosts who were there if needed but not intrusive. The hot tub was fantastic and we enjoyed using it almost every day during our stay. Our daughter and grandson were very excited to be able to hand feed some of the newborn lambs. The cottage is very peaceful and quiet yet only a short walk from the village. Nowhere on Anglesey is more than 30 minutes drive away so the cottage is ideal for exploring the entire island. This was our first time visiting Anglesey but will certainly not be our last.
We had a lovely stay in a very clean. comfortable cottage.

We stayed for a week at the beginning of December 23 and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Everything was provided including a lovely welcome pack of goodies. It was spotlessly clean and in an ideal setting. The hot tub was lovely and very well maintained. A great addition to this beautiful holiday home. The owners were lovely and friendly, very helpful and happily sorted out the heating timer for us as you have no access to this at all. This, we would say, is the only downside we couldn't access the heating timer ourselves, however we appreciated this as some people may take advantage! This definitely wouldn't stop us from returning though as everything else about the property was lovely and we would highly recommend it. We didn't want to leave! One of the things we loved was waking up to sheep in the fields and snow on the Welsh mountains. Thank you Beudy Tyddyn, you really were just what the Dr ordered.
Just returned from a lovely weeks stay. Cottage is exactly as it appears on the website and facilities and comfort are of a very high standard. Leah and William both very friendly and helpful especially when I had a query about the heating timings which they then amended for us. Lovely welcome basket on arrival, hot tub fabulous and clean, so quiet and well located to visit Beaumaris, Bangor, Menai Bridge, South Stack lighthouse, Treddaur Bay, Holyhead, Caernarfon, and Parys mountain all which we did during our stay. Thank you for a lovely stay we wouldnt hesitate to recommend you to anyone visiting Angelsey.

Fantastic cottage, in a great location, with everything you could need. You can drive to pretty much anywhere on Anglesey within 30 minutes of the cottage. Lots of great touches too, including welcome hamper, toiletries, dvds, books, games, etc. The hot tub is fantastic and has lovely views. The owner, Will, is really lovely and on hand for help or advice.
Absolutely beautiful cottage in a stunning location. William and Leah the cottage owners were so welcoming and the cottage is a credit to them. Location is rural but only 2030 minutes to all the lovely beaches and villages. We loved our first trip to Anglesey and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Theresa
Very well equipped property, William the owner very helpful. The welcome pack appreciated. The cottage itself is central to a lot of walks and other island attractions e.g. national trust properties. The hot tub after a days walking was very pleasant.

We have stayed at many places over the years but Williams cottage Beudy Tyddyn inhave tonsay is the best, excellent host with a stunning Cottage, the peace and tranquility was fabulous whilst within easy access of beaches . .. what the Bowns have done is chosen quality, the furnishings decor everything are of a superior standard. The biggest compliment I can give is that I cannot wait to go back... and next time we will be buying the eggs that his chickens have laid .... It is a beautiful property.
We had a short break and what a wonderful idyllic experience. We were welcomed by Will and shown around. Lovely welcome pack. Converted barn was beautifully presented and clean, and well decorated. Hot tub was lovely and extra bonus. The views stunning! Lots of extras provided. I will be returning at some point. Highly recommend!
A superb holiday cottage tastefully finished, full of home comforts, and an owner only too willing to help out, such as by finding out a clothes horse when we needed to dry a load of washing after a particularly wet Anglesey day! Beudy Tyddyn comes heartily recommended.

Had a fantastic time, the cottage is perfect, the owner William was very helpful ... Had a fantastic time, the cottage is perfect, the owner William was very helpful and the welcome pack was a lovely surprise, a brilliant location for days out and William provided leaflets for loads of things to do, we will definitely return
Lovely area to stay in and the cottage was pretty central to Anglesey so easy to explore the island from there. It was exceptionally well equipped with everything you could need, however there were no empty cupboards in the kitchen to keep our food in so perhaps that could be rethought in the future. Was lovely to use the hot tub in the evenings, which sometimes attracted the attention of some the more inquisitive lambs!
Lindsey
Cosy, welcoming and wellequipped cottage in a peaceful location, with easy access to all of Anglesey. We loved it, and hope to return!
Fabulous cottage, great location, totally private and lovely owners.
Fantastic cottage with home from home comforts, in an ideal location, with short drives to the coast for accessing the Wales Coastal Path around Anglesey, Holy Island, and lots of beautiful bays, and after a long day walking what better than relaxing in the hot tub.
Great cottage and facilities in lovely location. Owners helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back.
Claire
Fantastic holiday cottage. I would highly recommend it. There are beautiful views from the cottage and it's the perfect base to explore Anglesey. The owners are also really friendly.
Angela
Excellent in every way.
Lovely property and central location for exploring Anglesey. Will was very friendly and helpful. There was a great welcome pack & recommend their lovely fresh eggs! Enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely stay there again.
Beautiful cottage, owners very friendly and polite, but also leave you to yourself if you wish. Location for exploring Anglesey is spot on, nice relaxing unwind in hot tub at the end of the day, really relaxing. Would definitely recommend.
Andrew
An ideal location for a quiet getaway. Was met with a warm welcome from the owner and found the property to be clean and tidy, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. I didn't venture too far as was happy with a few local walks however for those wishing to venture further it would make a good base.
What a fabulous cottage everything you could want and more, comfy Cosy spotless and nice and quiet and in a prime position for getting round the island. There was a nice welcome pack on arrival and Will was there to greet us on our arrival and he was very helpful. This has been the best holiday cottage we have stayed in and we will definitely go back.
First impressions wow! ! What an amazing place and location for the views and peacefulness. Extremely well presented and pristine gorgeous converted cow shed. Everything you could ask for and more. Lovely touches including a welcome pack from the hosts bread, milk, wine, butter and Crisps. Hot tub is amazing after a day of exploring the island which is easy access to nearly all places bring in the middle of Anglesey. No need to bring anything from home as its got all the essentials, kitchen has everything. Will was really helpful a d recommended a lovely restaurant to eat at. All in all 5 plus, shame we had to come home for would recommend 100 and would love to go back. Best holiday let we have stayed in so far!
William
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely barn conversion. It was quiet and peaceful, the barn was very comfortable and a generous welcome pack was much appreciated. We cycled about 250miles around the beautiful countryside and looked forward to relaxing in the hot tub with a cheeky glass of wine. The friendly owner lives on site and is on hand if you need anything. Highly recommended
Christopher
Fantastic cottage on a sheep farm ideally placed to see the whole island of Anglesey! Will, the owner, and his family were very pleasant. Excellent facilities we even got my 80 year old Mom in the hot tub!

The location is idyllic. The hosts, William and Leah made us incredibly welcome. The cottage was pristine, beautifully clean and well equipped. A welcome package of bread, milk and a bottle of wine, among other things, was most appreciated. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend the property to others.
The cottage is spotlessly clean and well maintained. All possible utensils can be found in the well appointed kitchen which looks out the back across the fields. The hot tub is amazing especially after day of walking. It is peaceful and quiet with sheep roaming in the fields next to the cottage. The nearest village is a 1015 minute walk. Ideally located in the centre of Anglesey to explore the whole island or 35 min drive to Snowdonia. William, the owner is amazing, friendly and very very knowledgeable. It's the place to come to unwind and relax.
We had such a wonderful week staying at Beudy Tyddyn a lovely cottage with all facilities in a prime location for visiting North Wales. The pictures showing the cottage on the website really do not do it justice. Pleasantly secluded amongst lovely surroundings. And what a thoughtful welcome package on arrival. Will was always happy to offer advice
Amazing conversion, top spec. Very helpful and friendly host. Wonderful break.
This holiday cottage experience was high quality . The cottage was exceptionally clean, well appointed , beautifully decorated and its owners had provided wine, food, flowers and information to welcome their guests. The hot tub with its countryside environs was a fabulous addition . Highly recommended
Catherine
We really enjoyed our stay. Peaceful setting in a beautifully maintained and appointed cottage. We were made so welcome and the little welcome touches were much appreciated. Our host William was on hand to answer any questions and had lots of suggestions of places to eat and walking routes we could use. The spotless hot tub was an evening favourite for chilling out.
Robert
A brilliant find in rural Anglesey from which to explore the island. The property was first class and sparkling clean.Everything we needed was provided including an excellent welcome pack.William and Leah were lovely hosts and the hot tub was a great addition.Would definitely recommend.
Michael
The cottage was spanking clean, and in a fantastic location for seeing all of Anglesey and beyond. There's even a circular walk on the doorstep, and a village within walking distance, but is perfectly silent at night. So peaceful. So many thoughtful touches throughout the cottage, we didn't want for anything.
Philippa
The cottage was spotless. Very well equipped. We really appreciated the very generous welcome hamper. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It would have been useful to have one empty cupboard for food storage.
For a working sheep farm very clean and tidy the accommodation was top notch the hosts were friendly and helpful. Lovely to sit out and enjoy the peaceful setting being eyed up by inquisitive sheep. Location was good to visit different parts of Angelsey.
