Ger Y Mor Reviews

We were greeted by David ,the owner within minutes of arrival , such a warm welcome. Gave us lots of insight of the area. The house was so cosy but with ample room for 6 adults. Bedrooms were roomy and all had a wonderful view of the bay. A warm and friendly welcome in the Stag ,a 2 minute walk from the house, also a fantastic Sunday lunch at the Gadlys Hotel and again a warm welcome. We all had a thoroughly brilliant time, ladies loved the hot tub.Thank you for making us feel so at home.

Lovely house. Great location beautiful views back and front .owner very helpful garden great for dogs
Beautiful property and furnished to a very high standard. Close proximity to the beach and sea views from from the front of the house. Hot tub fantastic!! Really enjoyed the experience! Garden is large and fully enclosed.perfect for our dogs! The owners are charming and couldnt do enough to help us settle in on arrival explaining how things work and where to find things etc. We really enjoyed our week here and will definitely look to return in the near future.
Picked a cracking week to stay at Ger y Mor 02. 9.2023. What an absolute gem of a property. The property is outstanding and kitted out with high quality furnishings. The enclosed rear garden was a god send as we had three dogs with us. The property is a stones throw from the beach and the main high street. The hot tub was a bonus. Met the owners who were lovely and helpful. Will definitely 100 book again. If I had one comment to make that the garden would benefit from a BBQ.
Michelle
An amazing property! Would highly recommend to anyone. Felt luxurious without being to scared to enjoy it. Perfect location to explore Anglesey and set in the beautiful Cemaes Bay. Will definitely be back.
Ger Y Mor is a beautiful family sized house in a stunning location. We stayed here with adult children and 4 year old granddaughter, the accommodation was perfect. Having a lounge and separate sun room was great. The house had everything we needed and the hot tub was a lovely bonus. The owner provided us with information about our stay and was contactable if needed, we had no issues. We have booked again for next year, I would definitely recommend this property. Just a suggestion to make it even more family friendly
The cottage itself was very nice, its really a place to chill out the isa nice Pub called the Stag within walking distance which is quite nice. however, food menu is a little limited and food is just ok, Dont bother with the Pub next door if I was you? We had problems with Hot Tub notworking correctly along with dish washer. However to be fair the owners where proactive in attempting to sort this, Its for that reason I have not marked them down more substantially. On the whole good property which we would book again.
A very comfortable cottage, loved the hot tub, very secure garden for the dogs and we really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend this property to anyone. Design and decor is lovely. A few comments for the owner no info pack or welcome pack provided which would have been helpful. The dining chairs need looking at ,as the legs on most of them are very loose and wobbly! Also more mugs please , only 4 provided for a six berth property. Loads of glasses in excess, perhaps we need to drink champagne rather than tea or coffee. Happy holidays.
The property was spotlessly clean, really well equipped, and very comfortable. The location is amazing, right by the beach. Stunning hot tub to star gaze from, and a wonderful secure garden for our Dog to play in. Really amazing cottage, with friendly and approachable owners.
Dianne
Despite a problem with the oven not working due to an engineer being unavailable, there were plenty of alternatives for cooking food. All things considered, this is a lovely property in a delightful situation so close to the beach and with plenty of walks around, being close to the coastal path. Would love to come again!
Sharon
We had a lovely stay in this fantastic property. The house is so spacious and in the heart of the village. The garden was great for the dog and the views are great also. The Stag pub a few minutes walk from the property does lovely food and is dog friendly. We all had a lovely relaxing break. Thanks from The Carr family Wigan
Michelle
Loved this property. We could actually see ourselves living here. Views were perfect. We never used the front room but loved the sun room. Bedroom was perfect. Garden was absolutely fantastic with the fruit trees. We didnt want to leave and if we could of booked for next September we would of done but no options available. As per previous comments about the mirrors the owners have this rectified this. Rubbish was still as issue we took our recycling and bottles home Portsmouth as we had no where to put this as the only bin was full. Recycling not an option. Could of done with mats in the main shower as got quite slippy. Was an issue with the oven as we couldnt use it but werent notified till when we were travelling and our meals were planned with was slightly inconvenient Loved this property and would def recommend
Andrea
The cottage is beautiful in a fantastic location with all the facilities you could need for a home away from home. David and Lee are in hand if you need anything and nothing is too much trouble. We had an issue with the oven in most cottages this would of been a problem however because they had an air fryer and convection microwave I didnt need the oven at all
We very much enjoyed our stay. Very nicely furnished house great artwork particularly and so well located for a dog friendly beach and an enormous sandy beach, good for swimming etc. The town is a little sparse, only two reasonable eateries within walking distance plus pub and coffee shop. Our constructive feedback would be 1 more mirrors for the ladies 2 less gadgets ie bread maker, pressure cooker etc 3 more mugs there were only 6, so we bought & left some extras! 4 rubbish and recycling arrangements unsatisfactory 5 hottub needs a refurb as not all jets working. Happy days!
Sallie
Stunning cottage, Cemaes Bay is an absolute gem and we will definitely be back

Cottage absolutely beautiful with fantastic views Furnishings 5 star Only few ... Cottage absolutely beautiful with fantastic views Furnishings 5 star Only few things missing mirrors in the bedroomsnone would be useful and chair in main bedroom The description says TV and DVD in all bedrooms this is not so Cemaes is a lovely village but the only place to eat is the Harbour hotel but hop in the car and head upto Galdys Hotel up on the hill wonderful I know probably general instuction books were removed during covid but I think they should be put back Our main problem was to do with recycling only one bin visible which was full outside the gate All in all one of the best cottage holidays we have taken Thankyou
Spent a lovely 2 weeks in this beautiful property. Lovely views, didnt want to leave.
Sharon
Absolutely loved our stay at Ger Y Mor. Beautiful house in an ideal position with sea views and convenient for the village, beaches and cliff walks it has the lot. Prob the best place we have ever stayed.
Fabulous property, brilliant location, walks straight from the door. Property is well maintained and spacious and the hot tub is to die for after a long walk. Kitchen has all the essentials you could need to prepare your meals and plenty of storage space. Owners are easily contactable if you need to contact them and respond immediately. Would highly recommend this dog friendly property. This is the 2nd property we have stayed at from this owner who has a few dotted around the bay, and they have maintained the same high standards throughout. We are hoping to check out the new property once refurbished so hope to book with you again soon. Lynne and John and of course Master Alan the dog Bury
Lesley
We just came home from a week at Ger Y Mor. We had an great time. The house is so warm and inviting the 2 Christmas trees were a lovely touch. You have every bit of kitchen equipment you could possibly need. Excellent communication with the owners. Always happy to help. We are already missing the house, so looking to book again for next year.
We had a wonderful holiday at this lovely property. The cottage is spacious and furnished to a very high standard. We loved the hot tub after returning from long walks on the Anglesey coastal path which runs next to the cottage. The garden was perfect for our 3 lively dogs and the beach just in front of the property made their holiday the best ever. The owners were friendly and could not do enough to ensure that our stay was cosy and comfortable. We are coming back as soon as we can!
Amanda
We have just come back from spending a week here, the cottage was gorgeous and everything you needed. We enjoyed the hot tub and I enjoyed having a cup of tea in the garden with replacing views of the birds. The stag pub is really friendly and accommodating enjoyed a few drinks in there and some lunch.
Michelle
The cottage was very clean, it had everything & more to ensure that you have a good time while there. The owner was very nice & friendly and ensured that we were enjoying our stay. We recommend this cottage 100 & we will definitely be returning in the near future.

A couple of TINY teething glitches but would recommend to everybody. ..superb,fully equipped accommodation, wonderful owners and we 've already booked it again...what more could we say other than the location and views are perfect too. WOW!!!
Denise
Wow. fab house with everything you need. It was much larger than I thought and the picture albeit good do not do this property full justice. I would highly recommend to anyone.
A perfect stay. This house was luxurious and comfortable, offering lots of space in all rooms and a variety of areas to relax in. The kitchen is stocked with all the appliances, utensils, cookware and tableware you could possibly need, all of them being of very high quality. A large fridge freezer and numerous cupboards provides ample storage for food. Bedrooms are sizeable, with comfortable beds and bedding. The garden is completely private, whilst big and secure and so great for dogs. The beach is just a minute away, at low tide you can walk the full length of it, and the waters of the bay can be viewed from any window at the front of the house. All amenities of the village a just a few minutes away, and the locals are welcoming and friendly. The owners were attentive, ensured the hot tub was maintained appropriately, and helped make our stay enjoyable whilst respecting our privacy. Cannot recommended this venue enough, we booked another stay right away!
