Five luxury bedrooms are split over the ground and first floor; comprising of three king-size doubles and two twins. After the sun sets, cosy up in the room of your choice, perhaps reading a book before drifting into a peaceful night's sleep.

A family bathroom and a shower room provide a stunning place to get ready during your stay and the entire accommodation is really something special. The village of Penysarn forms the starting point of many circular tourist walks and the Anglesey coastal path runs past the village with a line of amenities to explore.

Absolutely incredible place to stay. I booked for new years with family and the children. The house and views behind are stunning, beds are comfortable, kitchen stocked with everything you could need, lots of games to keep the kids entertained. Couldnt spend too much time in the hot tub due to the horrendous wind but still managed to use it while we were there. Had the most incredible time and couldnt recommend enough.

Beautiful house in a gorgeous area. Rooms very spacious.Hot tub was amazing and well maintained. Lovely gesture from the owners when we arrived of a lemon cake and Prosecco. Thankyou to the owners for the Christmas decorations which were a lovely surprise.Everyone loved it and we are all hoping to return again next year. Thankyou!

This was our second time coming to RHOS HELG for my birthday, I dont know where to begin, the Prosecco, milk and cake on arrival was just lovely. The beds are so comfy, the views are breathtaking and the hot tub is so well maintained. Michelle and Alun are great owners and nothing is a problem. I would recommend this cottage to anybody, its a great location. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Wonderfully laid out and spacious. Stunning views, peaceful location and nice and private. Weve had a super stay, loved the hot tub in the evenings and that there was a bbq and plenty of seating areas. There were only the two of us and our two small dogs but Id definitely come again with more family as all the rooms are good sizes and the property layout means you can all have your own space when required. The owners are very thoughtful and kind. Lovely neutral decor throughout. Id recommend visiting Plas newydd gardens, bodnant gardens and Llandudno, and Id also recommend the 5 The Tavern on the Bay to eat. There are so many beaches and little towns to discover the views across the Menai straight are just breathtaking. Its been a perfect location to stay for exploring across all of Anglesey, Holyhead and even a little more. We happily spent afternoons in the garden and relaxing at the accommodation. The kitchen is well equipped for any home cooking but with larger groups Id definitely have taken advantage of the bbq and large enclosed garden

The house was absolutely gorgeous and the hosts were very helpful and friendly. This is in such a gorgeous area in North Wales, around 25 minute drive Rhoseiger which we loved. Beautiful views whilst in the hot tub in the evening, and enjoying a morning coffee.

This is a stunning property with views over Parys Mountain. Very comfortable stay with large garden & hot tub. The hosts were great & prosecco & cake on arrival was a lovely touch. We had a great holiday. Thanks.

This house is perfect for large numbers and young children. It was clean and well maintained. The bottle off wine and really nice cake on arrival was a nice surprise, as was a litre off milk in the fridge with plenty of tea and coffee for days. The location is perfect nice and quiet and only a short drive to every corner off anglesey.

The house is great with plenty of space for 10 of us in comfort. Location for sheltered east coast beaches is perfect. The hot tub is a very special treat. Our only additional wish would be for a tumble dryer. After a week with plenty of rain we struggled to dry out clothing as we dare not hang clothing outdoors because of persistent showers. A dryer would be the icing on the cake!

Cannot express how amazing the house was! There was Prosecco,cake and milk awaiting our arrival. We were notified that we could access the property an hour earlier which may not sound like much to some people but it meant a lot to us I can tell you. The house is beautiful, comfy beds, luxury towels, spotlessly clean. Plenty of seating options, fabulous hot tub! Gorgeous kitchen with everything you could think of. My advice for anyone staying here is read the house manual! Cleverly its downloadable and it has everything in it that you need or want to know. I had the pleasure of meeting Alun one morning and we had a lovely conversation despite my dog deciding he was going to be boisterous throughout! 100 recommend.

We chose this holiday cottage last minute as the one we had booked with a different company cancelled the night before. It was a special surprise for my Mum's 60th so we were desperate to re book something within our price range. As it was the night before, Rhos Helyg had been reduced so we booked and hoped for the best. Upon arrival, we were SO glad that we booked here, it was absolutely phenomenal! Lovely, spacious detached house, super clean with all the mod cons! Kitchen fully equipped, plenty of seating and 5 spacious bedrooms. Thick, white fluffy towels were provided and the owner left a cake and a bottle of prosecco which was a lovely touch. We had a wonderful 3 days here as a family and the hot tub was enjoyed by all especially when watching the sun set of an evening. Location was 5 min away from a large co op and we also took a drive to the local harbour where we had a lovely afternoon playing on the park and walking along the front looking at the boats. This place felt so luxurious, plenty of outdoor space which the kids enjoyed playing in and dog friendly too. Thank you for making our weekend a memorable one we can't wait to come back!

Had a wonderful stay with family, beautiful scenery and the cleanliness of the house was excellent . Would have loved to have had a dryer for the clothes as it took a long time to dry things, especially towels and bedding, as there was no extra bedding.

This property was the best cottage in the UK we have stayed at. It was outstanding and we had the perfect most picturesque Christmas. Michelle and Alun was the icing on the cake, lovely welcome package and could not do enough whilst we were there. We are returning! If your thinking of booking dont hesitate go for it! Xx

So my own issue was no shower on the first floor difficult when showering downstairs and taking stuff up and down to get dressed As only a sink and toilet upstairs and the location of a shower past the utility area by front door very cold when coming out.

What a great place to stay, the views are incredible, the house has everything that you need for cookingliving for the weekend. The hot tub was spacious and was very clean. We all loved our stay and will be returning. The only thing i would say is maybe to get a sign outside of the house as it is a little bit confusing to find it! Overall a really great stay

Fantastic property for family trip 8 adults, 2 children and 1 dog! Great location and not too far from benllech beach and cemeas beach, which are both great for families and have dog friendly areas. The owners were very helpful and quick at responding to any queries we had. The hot tub was unfortunately not working during our stay but the owners provided an alternative which was more than fit for purpose. Overall a great property, location and week in Anglesey.

Thoroughly enjoyed our family weekend in Rhoshelyg . The cake and champagne was a lovely bonus and welcome since my husband was celebrating his 70th.There was an issue with the barbecue but our hosts Alun and Michelle sorted that very quickly . Would definitely consider staying there again.We all loved the hot tub.Maybe a warning should be put in the utility room that there is a step up to the ensuite when you open the door but apart from that everything all good.Diolch yn fawr iawn.

The cottage is on n a really good position, garden is ideal for dogs and children. Everything was clean and comfortable but I was disappointed that the Xbox controller wasnt working, we had to get new batteries and the games were all based at teenage children and older. The box containing board games was also disappointing as the only intact one was Monopoly and the whole thing was a mess which we had to sort out. On a positive note we found the iron wasnt working and this was replaced immediately for us.

Fantastic views from both the tub and the downstairs bedroom, especially as we had such good weather! ! Perfect location for the beach which is a must see. We had a brilliant weekend, house was perfect for 8 of us and a baby. Lots of thought has gone into facilities, take away lists, there are games and plenty of utensils we cooked a lovely roast on the Sunday and the link with all the property details was sooo useful. Owner was lovely and text to say property was ready early which was super handy and meant I could head off early with the little one! Hot tub got lots of use. Was super clean. Bit of a shame we couldn't use it the first night but appreciate that is due to cleaning and heating! If we were to be super picky, more toilet rolls would be useful and the sofa needs a cleanreplacementcovers due to a few marks. Otherwise an absolutely perfect weekend for birthday celebrations and we will definitely be back! Thanks so much.

It's actually the only attraction in North Wales to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. Located in the Snowdonia region there are many rides and activities including Jungle Boat Adventure, Den Building, Green Dragon Roller Caoster, Treetop Towers and the BareFoot Trail. Kids of all ages will love it here and we think it's excellent value as well.

Great Orme Ancient Mines - LL30 2XG

A visit to Great Orme Ancient Mines is offers a fun and educational daytrip for families. The amazing site allows visitors to explore the copper mines which are thought to date back to the Bronze Age but were only discovered in 1987 during a landscaping project. The tours provide an insight into the way of life for miners over 3,500 years ago. A family ticket is just £16.00

Welsh Mountain Zoo - LL28 5UY

about 24 Miles

Located in the North of Wales with a spectacular setting high above Colwyn Bay this is a lovely zoo which makes an excellent family day out. Highlights include the Chimp Encounter, Penguin Parades, Bear Falls and the Children's Farm. The setting is perfect for walking around and you can take in the superb scenery, roam the wooded pathways and relax on the grassy slopes. There are many rare and endangered species to see and learn about including the Snow Leopards and the Red Pandas not to mention the Sumatran Tigers. You can also buy the experience of being a zoo keeper for a day, either for yourself or as a gift.
