The Manor House Reviews

A fantastically spacious property with everything you would need. A quiet and private location, despite there being other properties at the site. Hot tub had lovely sunset views and was a great way to relax at the end of the day. Our cockapoo enjoyed the large enclosed rear garden although, unfortunately, due to the grass having been cut before our arrival, we struggled to keep grass out of the property as the cuttings stuck in his curly fur. Minor inconvenience of vacuuming more times than I'd like during a holiday!! Overall we had a fabulous stay and plan to stay again.
Excellent place to stay, not overlooked and views of the countryside from the garden with the hot tub making an added bonus. Anyone who stays here with dogs will love the large secure garden and a 30 second walk away is a larger freedom pasture for a good run.WiFi is excellent and the welcome pack for 2 and 4 legged animals is a beautiful addition. The only small gripe is the cushions on the chesterfield sofas are too soft and you really sink into them. Wouldnt put us off returning though.

Absolutely stunning, from decor to views. Very spacious x comfortable.
We've just finished a week's holiday at The Manor House and we loved it. The welcome treats in the kitchen and milk in the fridge was a nice touch, thank you. The lounge was very comfortable, as was the bed at night, which made it feel like a home from home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook each evening, much better than previous places we've stayed in. The accommodation is ideally situated for exploring the whole island and great to come back to the hot tub each day, which made the holiday for us! It allowed us, even on cold days to sit outside and watch the aircraft from RAF valley and enjoy the peace of the countryside around us. Only bit of feedback I guess, would be that if there were three couples staying here, we may have had to fight over the lovely comfy sofa!! One sofa was lovely and comfy with foot rest attached and the others, although nice, were not as good for lounging on and watching a film at night. Maybe a couple of nice foot stools could enhance the comfort of people relaxing in these sofas too. We stayed in here in March and the weather was cold and wet, so it was more a Winter experience rather than Spring. The house was very warm and plenty of hot water each time we needed a shower or bath. We'll definitely be repeat guests! We were sad to leave and could have done another week! Thank you, Katie and Simon

Lovely cottage very homely for us all. My adult kids and dog's have never been to Anglesey, and this holiday was their Christmas present from us. They loved it, really impressed with everything. Good area where the cottage is, lovely beaches to visit for the pooches. Used Sykes Cottages about 4 times not once have we been disappointed. Do keep up the good work, and we shall be booking again. Many thanks from us all
This is an amazing holiday let. The pictures, although great, do not do it justice. We could not fault the Manor House. Its a beautiful well kept property in an amazing location. The owners have thought of everything to ensure you have a great experience there. The welcome pack of Welsh products is a really nice touch too. We hope to stay there again.
We had a lovely relaxing holiday. To find a property that suited our requirements isnt an easy task but The Manor House was ideal
We loved our stay it is a lovely property perfect for larger familys and their pets too. All very clean beds made up and fluffy towels for every bathroom. We enjoyed the hot tub and all the facilities and when we had queries the owners were quickly available to help out. We loved too the welcoming hospitality package wine, coffee snacks and even something for our 3 little dogs. We needed for nothing except we would have liked our own washing line. Whilst there is a communal line it was busy when we wanted to use it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the manor house. The property and surrounding gardens are beautiful, the owners were helpful and everything you could need is provided. The dogs loved the free run paddock and we will definitely be returning.
This place was incredible! Theyre doing injustice in the pictures its a huge place and the views are epic! So much better than expected. Spotlessly clean, a really generous welcome pack.. couldnt fault anything. You wont be disappointed!
Denise
Beautiful, spacious and tasteful property with a large enclosed garden. Very peaceful location but handy to get to the stunning beaches nearby. Would definitely recommend!
Lovely place to stay. It was very clean and the welcome pack was lovely. All the furnishings etc were to a high standard We would definitely use it again.
Our party consisted of 6 adults and 5 dogs and each and every one of us had a fantastic holiday. The accommodation is exceptional from the rooms, facilities and grounds to even the beds. Everything provided, including a very generous welcome box, is of a high standard and just as good as being at homeif not better. Our weather was outstanding and the garden was a brilliant bonus for our four legged friends. Relaxing in the hot tub at night with a glass of bubbly was amazing and we will all remember this holiday for a long time. I will recommend the Manor House to friends and family and hopefully we will be back in the future, thanks.
Trevor
We had a lovely week in the Manor House in Anglsea. It was well equipped and grey for the dogs. Very clean and the owners were very friendly and helpful. There were several local walks and some beautiful beach within a few minutes of the manor. The owners kindly posted a dog lead we had left behind which was very good of them. I would highly recommend this property and location to anyone wanting a relaxing break.
Absolutely fabulous accommodation that was perfect for 3 sharing couples.
Darren
This is probably the best self catering accommodation Ive ever stayed in. We are a family of 6. We were able to split everyone up in the house and give my 16 year old a room to himself. This made the holiday for us. The sheer size of the place is amazing. The views from the hot tub watching fighter jets take off kept the kids entertained all afternoon. We will back!
Andrew
Great place to stay. Had a problem with the hot water, which can happen as it was a pump failure, but this was dealt with virtually immediately. Large bedrooms and great enclosed, private paddock area at the back which our dogs loved. Owners were a pleasure to deal with.
