Hiraeth Gower Reviews

Julia
There is no kerb appeal to this holiday village. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped the owner clearly having thought of everything that would be required but it needed a thorough clean as there were cobwebs on the ceiling and remnants of food on the grill which hadnt been cleaned at all. The surrounding buildings i.e the chip shop lookedRead more very run down. The reception area, and games room smelt damp. It was a shame because the surrounding area is a beautiful part of wales to explore. Hide

We really enjoyed our stay at Hiraeth. The property has two good sized bedrooms and an open plan kitchen & living room. Unfortunately the wifi wasn't working but the O2 mobile signal was good. The bathroom has a an electric shower but no bath. French Windows open onto a communal garden with a bench seat belonging to the property. There is a local gRead moreeneral stores and a Fish and Chip shop two miutes walk from the front door, however the local pub is no longer open. We would happily stay here again. Hide

Ideal location for exploring the Gower. Located in Gower Holiday Village, was largely quiet. Only downside (not fault of owner or could be helped) is as its right at the entrance to the holiday village behind the local shop you get the noise of the air con units from that and the chippy as well as early morning deliveries in the front bedroom if wi ndow open. Place itself has been thoroughly modernised, at the rear is lovely shared garden space which was nice to have with patio doors open.
Clare
We had a lovely stay in chalet. It is warm and clean and well equipped when you get past the kirb appeal. We found some lovely walks and beautiful bays and beaches, all very convenient from the property.
Georgina

Could not fault the property in any way, well equipped and ideally located. With dog friendly beaches only 10mins away (by car) the dogs had plenty of exercise. We would love to have another holiday at Hiraeth-Gower in the future.
