Caeau Mawr Reviews

Muhammad
Hi. Firstly I dont appreciate your aching out to me 9 hours after Ive left having been waiting for you for so long. I have also filed a complaint of my own because of how terrible our stay was due to heavy infestation from daddy long legs and the fact we had no AC. I also have paid extra for insurance and am eagerly awaiting pictures of this damage which has appeared. Especially given we called our for you so many times yesterday but no one responded from your property. The property was cleaned as best as we could with everything binned correctly. And the cottage was NOT in a filthy state and I have evidence of this. The cottage was infested with daddy long legs and j was told by the owner not to have the lights turned on at night as well as not to open the door, yet no AC was available. I had to sleep in the van for 3 nights because of the number of daddy long legs attacking us this place should not be put up for rent!!!
This can be published Its our second time visiting this property and we were just as impressed this year as last year. The location, facilities, layout of rooms, quality of fixtures & fittings, and standard of cleanliness are all fantastic. Were looking forward to coming back for a third visit next year. This is suggestion only for the owners we were lucky to get great weather again this year which lead to this suggestion it may be worth adding blinds to the kitchen doors so guests have the option of shutting out some of the brightness when needed. This is for Sykes weve looked ahead to book again for next year, but it shows that all of 2024 is unavailable but 2025 is available is this an error? Wed like to book for 2024.

Amazing house and an amazing stay for me and my friends ! Gorgeous and the hot tub and view was amazing! Will be retuning next year. Xx
We had a lovely stay, the house was plenty big enough for our family of six. The beds were so comfortable and the property has everything we needed.
Absolutely fabulous cottage with amazing views and brilliant facilities. Would love there if I could. Would highly recommend it to anyone. Owners were wonderful, extremely friendly and helpful, really made you welcome, even left cakes for us on our arrival.
Robert
The house was great. Exactly what we wanted with a stunning remote location but also places to visit nearby. Hot tub was ideal with the kids. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

I had a lovely time visiting Llangefni and will definitely return and stay in this Appartment. The owner was lovely and the place was very clean, the building as you enter needs some tlc but that's not the Appartment owners Job. I would definitely recommend this place.

As a group of girlfriends wanting a weekend getaway together where we could take some nice walks, enjoy the scenery, and come back to beautiful house to relax in a hot tub whilst our feast was cooking in the kitchen, this place ticked all the boxes and was perfect. The hosts have been great and just a text away should we have needed them for anything. The beds are super comfy, sunrise views from the bedrooms incredible. The kitchen is a perfect space to gather, everything you need for a home from home. We are already planning in next years weekend stay. Would highly recommend Caeau Mawr.
Lovely welcome cakes and wine a very nice touch. Very clean. Everything you could need and lots of space for a family holiday. Hot tub was used every day and the children loved watching the farmer and his dogs rounding up the sheep.
Lovely barn conversion with beautiful views. Practical holiday home in a great location with so much to explore and do in the area. Very nice helpful owners.
Sandra
A beautiful house, extremely well modernised and the view was absolutely stunning! Three generations of my family stayed there and we all loved it! A perfect holiday home!

We have just come back from holidays in the great property of the Ellis family. It was a wonderful week, and I don't know how to thank the owners enough for having rented us their beautiful house! We are a family of 6, father, mother and 4 grownup children, and there was a lot of space for all of us. Here is a list of some of the things we appreciated the kindness of the owners, their welcome wine and cakes, their responsiveness, their prompt feedback, etc... the incredible cleanness of the house! Literally everything was shining, spotless clean! the amazing facilities of the house, from the beautiful hot tub to the comfy mattresses, from the useful room furniture to the nice sofas in the living, from the large space in the utility room to the abundant cutlery , etc the beautiful landscape and the views from the house and the terrace and I could continue listing all the wonderful features of this house. But the most important thing is that we were happy there, and the house greatly contributed to our happiness. Thanks again to the owners!

Last weekend 7 of us spent 2 nights in this amazing house. Mr Ellis was very helpful on guiding us to the house, when we arrived he was very friendly, showed us around the house and even left some beautiful cupcakes and wine such a lovely touch. The house was exactly what we needed, it was spotless, lovely and bright lots of windows, loads of space and everything that we needed was there. The view from the back is fabulous with the horse and sheep and the hot tub was brilliant. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and will absolutely return in the future. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful house
This house is absolutely beautiful. Everything is perfect. The views are amazing. Lovely visit from Mr Ellis with some cakes and bottle wine . Kitchen area so lovely and spacious spent most of our weekend in there or outside by hot tub.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time as a group of friends at Caeau Mawr the house was perfect for what we wanted, lovely big open living space and the hot tub was a real bonus! Thank you for the delicious cupcakes on arrival too. Excellent welcome and clear directions to the property. Many thanks!
On arrival we were so impressed with the property, the photo's give a small insight into how beautiful the house is inside and out! The views are incredible. The house was clean with great interior design and very well equipped. There is plenty of space with a very sociable downstairs living area which made the stay for a party of 7 very comfortable. The hot tub was the cherry on the top! The hosts are very friendly and made us feel welcomed. We didnt want to leave! Highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future.
Stuart
The property was lovely light, bright and spacious with stunning views of the Welsh countryside. The owners were really friendly and helpful, happy to help in any way they could. Would highly recommend and we would certainly return.

We have recently returned from a weeks stay at Caeau Mawr, and have nothing but good things to say about it. The house was absolutely lovely, extremely clean on arrival, and actually seemed bigger in real life than in the pictures on the website. The kitchenlivingdiner was a great room and is where we spent all of our time, the fire being a nice bonus. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were really comfortable, the hot tub was perfect, the views were spot on, we really had a fab time and would recommend this property to anyone.
Richard
Perfect hosts who made us feel welcome with wine and cupcakes. The property was clean well equipped perfectly suitable for our party of 7. We enjoyed the peaceful and picturesque surroundings and the local village of Henllan. Well situated for day trips to Conwy and Llandudno. Would recommend without hesitation and hope to visit again in the near future. Thanks.
Perfect hosts , always happy to help with recommendations for pubswalkstakeaways, very welcoming with cupcakes and wine, the views are spectacular, hot tub is amazing, plenty of space for two adult families of 4, Could benefit from another full length mirror in the other double room and a few more utensils in the kitchen, but in no way complaining as it was just perfect , we will be returning.
Gillian
The view is fantastic and the hot tub roomy and easy to use. The cupcakes were enjoyed by all.
Was a fantastic week away owners were great and gave some good recommendations where to go during our stay. The house exceeded expectations with plenty of space both inside and surrounding fields thanks looking forward to returning
Excellent service from Sykes as usual.
Such a gorgeous retreat! The house is just perfect for a nice get away! We arrived to cupcakes and a bottle of wine which was so lovely! If any help was needed only a text away and answered so quickly! Everywhere was so clean and easy to use all facilities inside the property! The views from the hot tub were great also. Only a 5 minute drive into Denbigh we tried fish and chips and we ordered a take away from a Chinese restaurant called Chen Lin which we would 100 recommend. We also had a 2 year old with us on our stay, and was lots of room for him to roam including a football goal outside and a climbing frame! Well be back again X
Great weekend away, gorgeous place and views was beautiful. Beds was really comfy and jacuzzi was fab, also had under floor heating which was a nice little treat I wasnt expecting. Got welcomed with a bottle of wine and cupcakes which was very yummy and thought it was such a nice touch. All round extremely happy with the cottage, came from Liverpool and was really easy to get to and only a 45min1hr drive. Very impressed and happy. Definitely would love to go back in the summer when can really enjoy the lovley patio. Thank you so much for a lovley stay.
We had a fantastic break at the cottage. It's really a nice place modern and airy surrounded by fields. Would definitely recommend and will be back again

Beautiful stunning quiet location. Thoroughly enjoyed use of the hot tub, made our stay perfect, lots of towels supplied is a big bonus. House is lovely , very clean, cosy and warm. Well equipped but not enough loo rolls for 8 people
