Amazing cottage with lovely facilities. The owner went above and beyond leaving little treats to welcome us into the cottage with . Cottage was lovely and clean and hot tub was a great addition. Would definitely come again
Absolutely loved our stay. The cottage is beautifully quirky. Decorated well and very clean. It had everything we needed. The log burner heats the cottage really well and it feels so cosy. The hot tub on a clear night is honestly the most amazing addition. Plenty of walks and views right on the doorstop. Friendly hosts there if you need them. Wouldn't hesitate to return here.

The property was perfect, spotlessly clean, a wonderful welcome pack on arrival and the host was kind, friendly and not at all intrusive. Extra towels and blankets, a stove full of wood and firefighters made us feel very welcome. The hot tub is absolutely fabulous! The location is wonderful with easy access to many beaches. There was nothing to fault about this cottage, a perfect retreat for two. We will certainly return!
Everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.
Lovely property, very good hot tub, basically everything you need.
We had a lovely holiday in this lovely cottage. Character beams, wood burner. Hot tub too which was a real feature of our stay. Friendly and helpful host who lived next door which was good.
Elizabeth
Lovely little cottage, clean and comfortable. Thanks for our stay here in the Llyn.

We enjoyed our stay immensely at Bwthyn Siop Pencaerau. This beautiful, cosy cottage, which is of historical interest as well, had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was a bonus and much appreciated of course. The surrounding coast and landscape is matchless in its beauty. We recommend a boat trip to Ynys Enlli, the beaches at Morfa Nefyn and Porthdinllaen, Glyn Plas y Weddw art gallery, Plas yn Rhiw, and Aberdaron itself which has retained it's Welshness. Diolch Clare a James am y croeso cynnes. Thank you Clare and James for the warm welcome.
Lovely cottage in lovely peaceful surroundings
This is a compact characterful well converted comfortable cottage well located in beautiful countryside but close to the amenities of Aberdaron. The king size bed, power shower , and woodburning stove are all notably user friendly , and Carole the owner was friendly and helpful. Many thanks.

Lovely clean, comfortable and well equipped compact cottage in beautiful rural location. Really pleased to have the electric car charger available. Type 2, so don't forget an adapter if your car takes type 1. And a hot tub to watch the sunset in. We had a wonderful week. Excellent, helpful host. We really appreciated the change of towels midweek! A few small things. Can we suggest a blind or curtains over the small window on the stairs? The bright sunrise woke us at 430am! Mattress on the soft side for us, but understand that's just personal preference. And no 2 pin shaver socket. Would be useful if an adapter was provided. We had to go and buy one. Recommended!
We can thoroughly recommend this beautiful cottage. The location is superb , ideal for a peaceful stay. The cottage was clean , comfortable and had everything you could want . The hot tub was a relaxing bonus. We would certainly consider a return trip . Anne and Mike

Lovely location, lovely property. Well equipped Kitchen and very clean. Carole was a lovely host, bringing us fresh towels mid week. Nice walks and very quiet.
Arrived with a warm welcome and tour. Absolutely beautiful cottage, home from home with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful setting and views. Carol recommended places to visit which was stunning. Beautiful walks for miles along the coast. We can honestly say we will definitely return. We are parents and work full time and we have never felt so relaxed. Thank you
We had a lovely 9 day holiday in this very comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage. The log burner was great in the evening and gave a cosy ambience to our experience. After a day visiting the surrounding attractions the hot tub was very welcome treat and so relaxing. I highly recommend Bwthyn Siop Pencaerau for a relaxing and friendly holiday.
Amanda
Lovely little cottage for a couple to spend some time together in front of a log fire or under the dark sky. We would and probably will book again.
We had a very lovely weekend at this lovely cottage. There was everything provided for a stress free weekend. The hot tub was a delight
Adorable cute cosy cottage in a remote area. The log burner was a bonus. Plenty of cutlery, tea towels and kitchen utensils to use. Towels were fluffy and even included flannels. The hot tub was a luxury, may be a good idea to bring flip flops for when you get out as it can be a bit stoney underfoot for when you go back into the cottage and may be a good idea to bring a beach towel. Also had extra blankets for those chilly nights, but we didnt need them. However the bathroom can be quite chilly as there is no heating in the room. A little tip would be to have a linen basket and more cupboard space in the kitchen. But we thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay and explored the areas close to the cottage.
We really enjoyed our stay here, cottage was lovely and clean, log fire and the hot tub was a great bonus after a cold winters walk. Hosts were brilliant and so friendly, welcome pack was such a lovely touch. What a stunning part of the world this place is in! Highly recommend the walk to Porth Ysgo and also watching the sunset at the pub down the road in Aberdaron. Will definitely be returning in the future.
Yvonne
The owners went above and beyond had a little. Start pack for tea coffee milk and bread which was a really nice. They give us fresh towels have way through the week as was their for 7 nights. Nice and comfortable and very relaxing. Will return again next year
This is a lovely cottage for a couple in need of a bit of me time. Am hoping to get back to it in the future.
Eileen
What an amazing stay. .we were on honeymoon and felt like we had been blessed by the thoughtfull touches that had been provided..would highly recommend this property for an amazing break for any couple
The location, the facilities, the warm welcome everything about this stay and property was utterly fantastic. We loved our short break away here and would love to come back again soon!
Daniel
Everything was perfect!
First of all Carole the host who lives next door is so lovely. Not Intrusive at all but very knowledgeable about the area, and very helpful . The cottage is stunning with everything you could need provided. Including fresh towels delivered to the door half way through our stay. The Hot tub was amazing. The cottage is perfectly positioned in Rhiw which is only a short 7 min drive into the gorgeous unspoiled seaside village Aberdaron. Which has 2 pubs, a couple of restaurants cafes, a chippy, a gift shop, and a fab bakery which was a little overpriced.there is also a spar shop too. We didnt want to go home after our weeklong stay Whistling sands is a must for walkers and beach lovers I cannot wait to return to the Lyn Peninsula Just one thing take it slow and easy driving on the very scarey roads Its 5 to park on the national trust car parks at Aberdaron and Porthor whistling sands all day
A lovely hidden gem. The cottage was so comfortable and homely it had everything you would want. Great location for visiting places nearby and to come back and relax in the hot tub in the evenings to watch the sunset. Lovely place to get some rest and relaxation we would highly recommend here.
We had a lovely week in this beautiful, very well equipped cottage. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, starting with a thoughtful welcome hamper. It was the perfect base to explore the peninsula which has an incredible coastline and stunning beaches. The hot tub was a great way to relax afterwards. Wish wed booked longer and will definitely return one day.
Thank you for providing us with a lovely cottage for our stay on the Llyn and for the warm welcome from Carole. We very much enjoyed exploring the peninsula and the cottage was a great location for this. The hot tub was fantastic for soothing sore feet and muscles after long walks. The cottage had everything that we needed. Thanks very much.
A very comfortable and well refurbished Cottage. A great place to stay with easy access to great walks on the beautiful north wales coast. The cottage, which has been expertly converted from what was once a dairy, it is very comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. The cottage was perfectly clean and he welcome pack was excellent. The hot tub is an extra bonus. Carole with an e btw! and James were excellent hosts We had car problems on the journey to the cottage and were very late arriving. We kept in contact supportive. We were welcomed by Carole who lives next door James and Carole put me in contact with the local garage who, much to my surprise, were able to diagnose the problem and obtain and fit the necessary part the following day. It was a pleasure to chat to Carole although, as noted before, she was not at all intrusive. The history of the building was very interesting at one point it was a general store, haberdashery and private clinic all run by the same person! The cottage is highly recommended
Lovely cottage with tasteful touches and it was nice to meet Carol, the host, in person. Basket of goodies, milk & bread appreciated. Enclosure for hot tub meant the lovely views could not be enjoyed when sitting outside, but a great facility for hot tub lovers.
Tannia
Very peaceful and tranquil, lovely quiet place
Excellent cottage, perfect for a short break, well equipped and comfortable. Carole, the owner, who lived next door was really welcoming and helpful but not intrusive in any way. The hot tub was well maintained and a wonderful treat to come back to after a day exploring the beautiful surroundings. Would highly recommend it as a perfect getaway.
We enjoyed our stay at this cottage it was clean, comfortable & had everything you needed, in a very good location, beach within walking distance, steps to get down onto it. The hot tup was great after a long day hiking along the coastal paths & taking in the amazing views, then it was lovely relaxing in front of the wood burner. We were lucky enough to have sunshine aswell, what more could you ask for, would highly recommend & would definitely stay again, friendly hosts & nice welcome basket . Thank you
Michelle
WOW!!! What an amazing warm cosy cottage. Very clean and well equipped. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. The log burner fire was fantastic..and the hot tube was amazing. Carol and James were the perfect hosts. Will be definitely be booking to stay here again.
Excellent, would definitely stay there again
The property was amazing, and had everything we needed, even had a mini hamper, milk and a loaf of bread upon arrival, the owners, who lived nextdoor were nice and very accommodating, the hot tub was great followed by the log fire which made the place worth going, my only niggle and it was a very small one, was that the radiators were locked to 18 degrees which made the mornings quite cold, but this was a minor detail and wouldn't stop us going again! We was there for 3 nights which wasn't enough to see the local beaches ect, this place definitely gets a 1010 from us
Georgia
We had a perfect anniversary weekend at this lovely cottage. James and Carole were friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make it a great stay. It was super cosy we spent mornings and evenings in front of the log fire! And seeing the stars at night from the hot tub was magical, we've never seen so many stars. The cottage was in the perfect location, very quiet and 5 minutes from a small village, and a walk away from a beautiful beach. We would love to come back to visit in the future.
Richard
The welcome was warm and friendly, the cottage and facilities were lovely and the area was beautiful, despite the wind and rain!
Hosts were so very welcoming. The cottage is beautiful, especially the upstairs mezzanine area. Lovely hot tub and cottage location is ideal for walks or drives to beaches. Highly recommend this cottage for a quiet holiday.
Louise
My husband and I have just had a wonderful 4 night stay at this property. The cottage is really, cosy, comfortable and homely and it was an added bonus to have a hot tub which we really enjoyed using. The hosts James and Carol were really friendly and and made us feel welcome on our arrival. We thought it was a lovely touch to have a welcome basket that contained biscuits, teas, coffees, jam, butter, chocolate, a beer and small wine. There was also a loaf of bread and a pint of milk for us which we were not expecting. We would definitely book again as it was the ideal place to recharge and see some of Wales. Thank you.
