We had a really lovely stay. Very clean and cosy, fairly private and beautiful area! Lovely walk up the river into the Forrest just at the back of the property, and a beautiful big beach just a 5 minute drive down the road. Cottage was gorgeous and the hot tub made it perfect! Would definitely come again.

A lovely comfortable cottage plenty of room for 2 and a dog. The enclosed garden is good if you have a dog. Welcome pack was a lovely touch. Ideal location for day's out to surrounding areas. A beach within walking distance or a short drive. The local pub just a walk away is dog friendly and serves good food. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely little cottage next to a Brook and woodland walk with the local pub just over a private footbridge! Cottage has everything you'll need. It's clean and cozy with a fabulous hot tub. The bed is comfy and its very quiet and peacefully. Train station is a 10 - 15 minute walk (great for a night out in Barmouth) So many great places to go -Harlech Castle & beach, Portmerion, Porthmadog, Caernarfon Castle, Snowdonia so this is a perfect base. The owners were lovely and couldn't do enough.
Michelle
Absolutely perfect little apartment! It was perfect for 2 people, and everything we needed. The location was amazing, straight from the lovely enclosed garden into the beautiful woodlands, with a stunning stream that you can walk along. Pub 2 minute walk with lovely home cooked food. Talybont spar shop & post office around a mile and a half drive a way, beach only a mile to walk with fabulous views. The hot tub amazing! Some delicious treats on our arrival. Big thank you to the owners!
Karen
Lovely little cottage for two it was perfect for us to have a quiet place to relax in the garden and hot tub, everything you need in one place. Pub with good food two minutes away. Beaches 15 minutes walk away. Lots of places to visits by car. Contact with the owner via text if we needed anything and welcome message and safe journey home text. Love ly welcome pack containing local cakes. Welsh scones and eggs. Our mornings were rather overcast which was a shame but thats the UK weather.
Jacqueline
Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings close to lovely beaches & a great woodland walk along the river behind the cottage.Close to local amenities but just far enough away to feel secluded & peaceful & the hot tub was a welcome addition.Hopefully we will be able to visit again soon
Roy
The cottage is situated in a lovely quiet location close to the River Ysgethin and the Ysgethin Inn which is dog friendly and good for the odd meal, very busy at our time of visit it being a Bank Holiday week. Cottage is comfortable but we did find the bed hard and the sofa not too comfy after a while, made use the table from the boot room as a cof fee table. Guest house close by which is not mentioned in the cottage blurb on the web site. The hot tub was used daily and weather was excellent.
Colin
This lovely little cottage is brilliant for the quiet holiday ,good enclose garden for my dog .Lots of good walks with beautiful countryside to take in.Not far from the great beach and surrounding towns and very friendly people.Hope to be back next year. Very happy holiday.
Cal
The cottage is lovely, very clean, the location is great right next to a stream and woods which was great for walking the dog. We would definitely be booking this cottage again in the future.
Anita
Everything thing you need, its warm n cosy and hot tub is a bonus!
Mark
Excellent cottage in a great location. Local pub just 300yards away across a small private bridge accessed from the cottage garden. The Beach is 20mins walk. The hot tube is superb.
Kenroy
A beautiful cottage in a great location. The cottage was very clean and had all the equipment any self caterer would need, walking in to the bedroom was amazing it smelled so fresh. We will definitely return
Ayesha
This cottage is a joy, relaxing, with ancient woods at rear of premises, our dog loved the walk in the woods. It's so peaceful hot tub for relaxing after long walks on the beach and in the woods. Has everything you need for a relaxing break would definitely recommend xx
Gretel
Fab little place. Very peaceful, great location. Lively walks to beach and along river. Lively little touch with mince pies, eggs and chocs and Xmas decs made it very cosy and they matched our Xmas tree, so added bonus !
Melanie
The cottage was lovely. So clean and bright. Lovely and warm. It had everything we needed & the bed was comfy so we slept well. My only criticism (if it is one) is that the hot tub is overlooked by the guest house next door so being a big girl, I felt too self conscious to use it (the website pics give the impression it's inside the 'hut thing' in the garden, but it's not - its on the patio outside. The owner is lovely & popped in twice to make sure we had everything we needed.
Karen
Lovely cottage in a great location. Perfect for dog walks in the woods or on the beach. Equipped with everything you could need and more, plenty of room to relax.
Janet
A warm, spacious cottage with a well equipped kitchen. The bed was comfortable. The porch was excellent for drying wet outer clothes as it had a radiator in it and a shoe rack for boots. Unfortunately it rained quite a lot when we were there. The Co op in Barmouth is very good for food shopping. The enclosed garden is secure for the dog and the wal ks in the adjacent woods are lovely. She wasn't too impressed by the number of acorns that got stuck in her paws but she enjoyed the walks.
Beverley
Very clean and well equipped. We found the bed a little hard for our tastes. Was in a nice position. Two minutes walk to pub and good food. About a mile walk to the beach. The hot tub was the star.
Ayesha
On arrival we found the cottage was found to be spotlessly clean and beautifully presented, it occupies a dream location next to ancient woodlands and a mountain stream. It is quiet but very convenient for beaches and local shopping towns. The cottage is very well equipped with all you need, and a secure garden with hot tub which is a bonus after a busy day.
Pat
Great location to explore Snowdonia. Quiet, relaxing and hot tub great after a day of walking. Excellent hosts and accommodation clean & tidy throughout.
Allan
Lovely cottage, beautiful location
Sarah
This cottage was perfect for a get away from it all retreat, it was peaceful, private and the stream running at the side of the garden made added to the appeal of relaxing in the hot tub. The location made it easy for planning days away or for walking the stunning beaches along Cardigan Bay.
Karen
The cottage is absolutely perfect. If you want to relax and unwind this is the place for you.
Jean
A beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Everything you want is in the cottage and a very relaxing sound of the river adds to the ambience. The welcome pack was also a very thoughtful gesture
Pamela

Nothing is too much trouble for the owners of this property which is in a quiet but very good location with a wooded area by a river from the back door. Two minute walk to local pub serving good meals. The property is clean and tidy with all the facilities and equipment required for a stay. I have no hesitation in recommending a stay at the propert y.
