What a gem this place is I am definitely visiting this place again, surrounded by peace and quiet and beautiful views this place is ideal for a relaxing time, hot tub was the best part after a good ole hike, credits to the owners who made everything so simple and easy for us Pri
Absolutely fab place to relax, whether that be for a night or 6 like we did.

WOW WOW WOW! ! What a little gem this place was! I was gutted to leave. Perfect location to have your quiet relaxing time but also plenty of beautiful places to visit within a drive. I can not wait to re book here! I will be telling everyone I know about here! Super clean, everything you need. & that hot tub! Perfect! Loved waking up to our friends in the field every morning too! Thank you for such a beautiful place!!
Cilan lodge I wish I could keep you all to myself and not share you with anyone! ! My husband went with the intention of doing absolutely nothing, switching off from the craziness of life and thats exactly what we did. I can not fault the property exceptionally clean, wonderful views and the hot tub was the cherry on the cake. We will definitely be returning.
Delightful lodge in a superb location with beautiful views. The lodge has everything you could possibly need, very clean and cosy. The hot tub is excellent and is a great way to relax after a long walk. We loved watching the sheep, cows and rabbits in the adjoining field...idyllic! Definitely recommended!
Fab place to stay, we throughly enjoyed

Cilan Lodge was the perfect getaway. The views are stunning and the peace & quiet to only hear the hoot of an owl was perfect. There is everything you'd need for a weekend or weeks stay & every little detail has been thought about. Lovely Welsh welcome with prosecco & Welsh cakes and the hot tub under cover is the icing on the cake. Can't wait to rebook and we've not stopped telling friends & family about our stay. Thank you
Jonathan
Lovely little lodge, perfect for adventures and relaxing, thanks for going the extra mile in regards to helping out with the wifi. Would definitely recommend for a couples break if you enjoy outdoor pursuits.
Absolutely fabulous, on arriving, the place was lovely and warm, and music playing softly, there was a welcome package of Welsh cakes, tea bags and coffee, prosecco etc. ... There was everything we needed, towels, tea towel, hairdryer, iron etc....even towels for the hot tub, which was amazing to relax in after a day out...there was a guests book from previous tenants which came in handy, when we went exploring reading about walks and places others had been too...there is local shops ,but we went a bit further out to Aldi to stock up on supplies! cannot fault the place, and waking up to an amazing view in the morning, I would highly recommend to anyone if they want to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Absolutely loved our last minute stay here. We booked this last minute as a get away for me and my partner. Literally couldnt have chose a better place. The place was spotless, hot tub was amazing. We will be back!
Property was amazing, so clean, all amenities fabulous location just breathtaking, highly recommended. We had an amazing stay.
Lodge was beautiful and in a lovely setting. Cannot fault the lodge and the hot tub in particular was great, we had a very relaxing stay the only negative was just a little remote for us we went for one week but if only going for a couple of nights would be perfect to get away from it all.
CILAN LODGE What a stunning place to stay. Its exactly how it looks in the picture, just perfect. It sits just outside Llandrillo and was central to everywhere we visited. Looking out of the lodge at the amazing scenery every morning & evening was just beautiful. The Hot tub is perfect after a long day walking and to look out at the wildlife, the sheep, the rabbits, birds was amazing. We are definitely returning to this stunning place. Thank you to Sue & Chris perfect hosts who gave us perfect directions from where we live up North to Cilan Lodge in Snowdonia. The lodge was spotlessly clean with everything we needed. We arrived to a lovely touch prosecco, Welsh cakes, jam & other little extras.
The owners are lovely and very helpful! The lodge had everything you needed and more. The owners had thought of everything! It's a lovely holiday home! The hot tub and views made it even better.
Oliver
On arrival the Lodge was pristinely clean and tidy, with little welcoming touches like prosecco and Welsh cakes which were greatly appreciated after a long drive. The photographs taken for the Lodge's listing on booking sites are accurate, except they don't show the birds and the sheep who sometimes come right up to the fence to say hello! For us, the biggest draw of Cilan Lodge has to be its hot tub. It doesn't disappoint solid construction, incredible views, jacuzzi massage jets, preheated and ready to go whenever you are. It's everso welcome when coming back from a full day of hill walking. The tub's best feature though is its seclusion. We've stayed at other places where the 'private hot tub' is partially overlooked by other tubs or properties. Not at Cilan Lodge though the tub and patio are entirely enclosed on three sides, plus the roof, so the nearest place where you could be seen from is several hundred meters away across multiple fields. The Lodge is well situated right in the middle of North Wales, so there's something for everyone within a reasonable travel time by car. It's 15min from the quaint little towns of Bala and Corwen, 25min from Llangollen, 40min from the adventurous activities in Ffestiniog, 45min from the centre of the larger towns of Wrexham and Oswestry, and 1hr from Llanberis for Mt. Snowdon. Overall, very happy with our midweek break at Cilan Lodge. It's perfect for couples looking for a retreat. We'd thoroughly recommend it and will look forward to staying again next time we're in North Wales.
Beautiful lodge in a beautiful place . Communication with the owner was excellent . Hot tub after long walks was just perfect

Loved the property. Makes me want to put a hot tub in my house
Brilliant stay me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed! The place is amazing and so quiet! We saw one person around the area the whole week we stayed. Such an easy system of booking into the property too! Our one complaint is running out of hot water on two occasions as we were showering before and after using the hot tub, but other than that we could not fault the accommodation, we will definitely be returning!
Debbie
What a lovely lodge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It was very clean, well equipped and the bed comfortable. The views were amazing from the hottub. There is nothing to fault about this lodge, highly recommend.
Sharon
Had a great weekend, hot tub with the view was amazing. Cabin was clean and tidy, bed was comfy. Just what we needed.
Pristine presentation on arrival, with multiple home warming touches and extras provided. Perfect area for a break away, and plenty to do all within an hours drive. Owners were extremely helpful and resolved any queries immediately. Have already recommended to friends and family upon arrival back home.
Amazing place ! so clean and tidy looks just like photos
Absolutely loved our stay at Cilan lodge . From the moment my wife and i arrived until the moment we left , it was total relaxation . The bed was nice and comfy , the cooking facility's were adequate , just right for cooking an evening meal for two . The hot tub was perfect with great views of the mountains . The peace and quiet around cilan is just great if your wanting to get away from it all and just recharge your batteries , can't wait to go back.
Claire
Perfect, a real home away from home. I have already recommend to friends and family.
Had an absolutely amazing time, used to go abroad at least twice a year but I'm now thinking why! !!!! First time I have come back from a holiday with the feeling I don't need another holiday to get over one I just had.....been many years since we both felt so relaxed.....Thank you so much, be seeing you again you will have us.
Absolutely fantastic place to relax, very private, lovely scenery, good bade for Bala ,Llangollen etc
Paulina
The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with extra little touches and bits you wouldnt even think you need. The hot tub is an amazing addition, especially lovely after day of walking when exploring.
Siobhan
We can't say enough positive things about Cilan Lodge. It's exactly as it looks on the listing, clean, comfortable and the views are amazing. The local villages are small with limited eateries but the ones we tried were all great with good food and friendly service. It's also a good central base to visit the surrounding areas. We loved waking up in the morning to look over the fields with a cup of tea and some Welsh cakes and finishing our days walking in the hot tub with a glass of gin and tonic. Perfect for a relaxing or active break. Our only feedback would be that the outside lights are on a timer so sometimes we came home in the dark 8pm or so and there were a lot of bugs around. They also stay on until around 2am. There are black out curtains but i'm a particularly light sleep so would recommend bug spray and an eye mask!
Sue and Chris where absolutely lovely and would like to give them a massive thanks
Fantastic time. Facilities were exactly as described. Welcoming, friendly owners. Fantastic views, even when it was raining. Very quiet. Only sounds were birds and sheep. Comfortable bed. Good Wifi. Highly recommended. for those wanting a quiet restful holiday
Fabulous lodge with everything that you need to enjoy your stay. Amazing hot tub to unwind and relax in with beautiful scenery.
We arrived an the cabin exceeded all expectations it was beautiful and the hosts ... We arrived an the cabin exceeded all expectations it was beautiful and the hosts were so welcoming we are already looking to book again for another long weekend

Neelam
The cottage was really warm would be ideal to have an AC or fan provided
Stacey
Everything was beautiful. could just do with an active fryer or an electric grill as the microwavegrill oven took a long long time to cook. Apart from that we had an amazing relaxing holiday. My partner proposed while we were away, so that was extra special. Would definitely recommend To anyone who wants a nice peaceful holiday with the lovely tub. We will definitely see you again. Thank you
