Immaculate place, hosts where perfect, facilities are fantastic and plenty to do around bala
Leslie
We were dissapointed there was no fishing on site as described. This was one of the main reasons we booked this particular hut.
Clare
Beautiful hut in a perfect location. Nice and private. Would love to visit again. Thank you for having us!
Tania
Absolutely gorgeous shepherds hut and hot tub. Really clean, and great use of the space. Such a peaceful and relaxing location. I loved how private it was, although staying on my own I felt quite safe knowing the farmhouse was next door. Its not as far to the coast as I thought it might be, so great options for me for days out as I was desperate to paddle in the sea, and the beaches at Harlech and Barmouth were lovely. I would love to stay here again and explore more of the beautiful area.
Krystyna
We have just had a glorious week at Encil Clyde. Our hosts were wonderful and we couldn't have asked for anything else. The Shepherd's Hut is absolutely perfect. We were very comfortable throughout our stay. The location is stunning and we loved our sheepy neighbours and being surrounded by the Welsh countryside.
Chris

Me and my partner stayed here from the 6th-8th May 2023 and we had the best time. The shepherds hut was perfect and by far the best one that we have ever stayed in! It was so clean and the owners were lovely. There is plenty to do around the area as well as spending evenings relaxing in the hot tub. I could not recommend this place enough!

The shepherd's hut is in the perfect setting. The views are stunning. Sitting in the hot tub staring at the stars was absolutely amazing. Richard and Gwawr were perfect hosts. They were there for any questions we had but left us to it for the 4 nights we stayed. The hot tub isn't over looked and has beautiful views. The log burner is easy to use. W e will 100% be back. Nothing was too much trouble and it was the relaxing break we needed.

We had a wonderful break away at Encil Clyd, Talybont Farm, Bala. I couldt fault the Shepards hut it was well equipped with everything we required for a perfect holiday. As there was also a hot tub the owners had thoughtfully left dressing gowns, towels and flip flops for us to use plus a complimentary bottle of Prosecco. All these little extra mad e our time in the hut truly magical. I would recommend this holiday venue to anyone who wants to get away, enjoy the quiet and North Wales.

We had a really lovely stay at this Shepherds hut. The hut is small but very cosy and modern with everything you should need. The garden area and views are stunning. The hot tub is fab and holds it's temperature, which many we have been in before do not. The hot tub was much needed after a day climbing Snowdon via the Watkin path . The hosts are lo vely and always on hand without being intrusive. Would highly recommend!
Lee

We loved our stay at the Shepherd's hut. It makes a great base for visiting Snowdonia national park and other parts of North Wales. The hut itself was spotless and so well equipped - more so than we expected before arriving (toaster, hair dryer, kettle included)! Lots of nice little welcoming touches inside too, which was greatly appreciated. We al so had a couple of nice meals out in Bala. A real gem of a find!

Secluded and superb, an amazing spot to getaway and only a stone throw from Bala. The accommodation was worth every penny and I could recommend it higher. We wish we could have stayed longer!

For our first holiday away together it was perfect, the hut was spotless, homely and had nice little touches including Prosecco from the owners. They stayed up late for our unfortunate late arrival so felt welcomed. It was private, amazing views, got a great photo of the moon using our telescope. I would definitely recommend and will come back!
