We had such an amazing stay at the cottage! !! We didnt get to meet the owners but also it was nice that we didnt really speak to many people as busy parents just needed a break! Beautiful accommodation and the hot tub was an added bonus after the mountain climb! Food places we found were all delicious and really would love to come back with our children at some point, if only this accommodation had a second bedroom! Thanks so much for our retreat

We absolutely loved the property it was so clean and smart, its set in such a great place with easy access to the mountain ranges and Betys y Coed centre a short walk away. Its the first time my wife and me have been away together in over 13 years so having such a great place to stay was the icing on the cake. We will be back as soon as we can get the time and this time for longer. Huge praise to the owners for creating such a great holiday let.

During springtime the bluebell woods are spectacular while in the summer the bog garden is a favourite attraction with some unusual displays of flora and fauna. In the autumn a walk through the ravine with its flowing waterfalls in not to be missed. There are also several yearly events to enjoy including the Bat walk in September.

St Winefride's Well - CH8 7PN

St Winefride's Well in Flintshire is described at one of the 7 wonders of Wales and is shrouded in mystery and intrigue. Legend has it that the well first erupted at the spot where Caradog cut off the nuns head with his sword.
