Just got back from an amazing week at Angel Rocks farmhouse, this gorgeous farmhouse feels as though it's in the middle of nowhere but within a couple of miles you will find a pub and Builth Wells itself is only about 15 mins drive. The farmhouse has absolutely everything you need and the super kingsize beds are soooo comfortable! Sarah and Andrew are fantastic hosts and are available when you need them but you wouldn't even know they were a stones throw away. I can't wait to go back soon.

Angel Rocks is a beautiful house, comfortable and well equipped in a stunning location. Wonderful views from the hot tub and plenty of room for bbq and for children to run around. Lots of places to walk from the house and plenty of birds, sheep cows and goats to see My family group of four generations stayed for a week and all enjoyed ourselves wit h activities including canoeing, waterfalls, Hergest Gardens, picnic and river swimming and the Hay book Festival.

Our family loves this place. It is so snug even in a howling gale, and the views across the valley to the hills are just wonderful, especially from the hot tub in a snowstorm! At Easter the fields are full of lambs and the banks with primroses. It is incredibly comfortable, and the owners Sarah and Andy are lovely.

This farmhouse was a dream to stay in. Comfortable and clean. All the amenities you would need. Very warm for our March stay, only really put the fire on for the cosy feels as underfloor heating kept it warm enough. Owners were very friendly and had no problem finding me and guiding me to the house when Apple app couldn't find it (use google maps i nstead), they also put the fire on ready for our arrival which was a great touch. Hot tub was great too! Views are breathtaking. Perfect for a retreat!

We had a lovely stay. A very warm and attentive welcome with a generous welcome basket and washing minis. The house was spotless with great range of cookware and glassware. The cleanest hot tub we've ever had and appreciated the daily cleans from the tub man! Underfloor heating was lovely, but do bring slippers/grippy socks for little ones. We real ly appreciated the owner putting up stair gates because they knew we had toddlers coming, and spotless high chairs and travel cot. Beautiful setting!

Angelrocks is a perfect house for a large family. 5 comfortable bedrooms and a lovely living space. The facilities are perfect and easy to use. It's well equiped with everything you need. The outdoor area is great for playing games and the walks around stunning. Hay on Wye is one of the loveliest little towns we've ever been to with cafs and book s hops galore with a lovely river walk and areas to take the dogs and kids for a paddle. Wonderful holiday rental for our extended family, we couldnt fault it. Lovely hosts, amazing views, beautiful walks from the back door, happy gatherings in the hot tub, lovely comfy beds, so quiet (except for the sheep during lambing!), lots of interesting places nearby - I could go on and on! The huge dining room was a very cosy place to watch the sleet and snow blow down the valley on our first day! We had 2 large food orders delivered to save unnecessary trips out to shop.

Absolutely fabulous house and stunning location. Everything has been thought of by Sarah and Andrew, a truly comfortable stay. The walks directly from the cottage are breathtaking and the hot tub overlooking the hills was a wonderful experience, especially as it was lambing season. The night skies are fantastic, so many stars visible (something we dont get in London!). Worth noting that the nearest shops are about 25 minutes away so bring plenty of food!
