Luke
Absolutely loved staying here. The hut itself is spacious inside with underfloor heating and a log burner, as well as a shower. With views of the Skirrid on one side and green land on the other, plus a private outdoor area this is the perfect little weekend getaway. The car park for the base of the Skirrid is just a 30 second walk, and Abergavenny is a short drive away. If you want to stay local, the cafe that is on site has a really nice selection of food and the coffee is great!
Andrea
Absolutely amazing, position, facilities cleanliness, warmth, hosts, could not fault anything, we came to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and definitely not disappointed. The Copper kettle is a must, breakfast is excellent. Thank you Mike and Tracy your staff and Jack, we will be back to see you x

Absolutely stunning shepards hut! The little garden area with the sauna and hot tub was incredible! Felt nice and private and sucluded, whilst still having amazing views of the fields next to the hut. The owners go above and beyond to make your stay so comfortable. The hut was nice and warm even in December and the small fireplace inside adds a nic e cosy touch.

Great accommodation and owners were very helpful. We ate in the cafe on site too which I would recommend. No complaints here.

The hut had everything in it that you will need. The hot tub & sauna were great. The outdoor shower was an added bonus, with only the sheep looking on. Its very private. Its very warm and very comfortable. The cover over the hot tub was needed because of the rain but it meant we didn't miss out.

Katrina
Perfect stay to relax and take in the calm of life. A walk up the Skirrid if you fancy a moderate challenge up the hill or stay in the hot tub and chat the time away. The Copper Top Cafe was a gorgeous start to the day. The hosts Tracey and Mike was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. 100% would stay again.

We've just had the best few days away we've had in an age! Staying in FinMia was perfect for our mini-moon - it had everything you need. There's so many walks you can do in the beautiful surrounding countryside, it's perfectly situated. Next door, Copper Kettle Caf did an awesome breakfast for us too. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners Mike & Tracy and we can't wait to go back!
