Lovely farm cottage. My kids enjoyed waking to the lambs and chickens. My youngest wanted to move in permanently! Thank you for a lovely weekend break.
Really enjoyable stay over the October half term. Great location for exploring the area with the kids Pen Y Fan 45mins away, Elan Valley 20 mins away. Shops about 10 mins away with some nice pubs and cafes close by too. Hot tub made for a lovely way to rest aching legs, warm up and take in some utterly stunning views. Comfortable beds, decent kitchen, and very welcoming hosts. Will most definitely return.
Thank you so much. This was perfect for us while attending Wonderwool and we appreciated your service very much.
First off when we got there the fridge didn't work. the owner did get us another but had to wait 3 days by then food was starting to spoil. kept awake by mice in the loft owner had to set traps bated with cheese. the because of your accepting bookings from large a group of men we had 4 asian men doing drugs next door drinking and making alot of noise to the point we had to come home 3 nights early. all in all a waste of nearly 500. was supposed to be a relaxing week of quiet for my wife who is unwell. instead caused stress and upset.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, views from hot tub excellent. Tracy was a lovely host we had milk and welsh cakes left in cottage on arrival which is a nice touch. Thank you
Lovely location, reasonable price and the hot tub was a nice bonus.
The holiday home is set in peaceful grounds of a working farm surrounded by fields and nature red kites and Kestrels could be seen daily. Foxes Meadow is adjacent to a field of lambs and just down the lane from the cottage owners private home, where they also have a couple of goats and a small holding of free roaming friendly chickens. The owners and their family are very welcoming and friendly, quickly making us feel at home and were very sweet with our daughter. The cottage one of four was a short 8 minutes drive from a couple of lovely restaurants Drivers Thai and Ginos Italian and the local lake side and railway station plus a large Tesco and Aldi. The nearby town of Landrindod Wells revamped the lakeside in 2021 with a new free to use and park by sandpit and water sport facilities. The latter being chargeable for 10 for 45 minutes of paddle board lessons for example. Down the road from the lake is also a pitch and putt mini golf course. The big hot tub was definitely a bonus and the views from it were spectacular. We will definitely return.
The cottage was ideal, in a beautiful setting with amazing views. Tracey was lovely and there upon our arrival, she gave us a few ideas for days out and her dog Bella was so cute and friendly. The cottage was very well equipped and the Welsh cakes were delicious. The only downside for us was the fridge didn't look like it had been cleaned and the flies, mainly in the kitchen, we actually went and bought some fly spray, I know it can't be helped in the warm weather but there were so many that we sprayed downstairs and closed doors each time we went out or to bed, but there was no let up. Other than that, I'd thoroughly recommend this cottage, the hot tub was fab after a days walking too.
Great stay as always at Foxes Meadow will be back again soon
Lovely cottage, owners were friendly and helpful. relaxing hot tub, was mine and my husbands minimoon and owners surprised us with champagne and chocolates. Lively views, sheep in the back garden. Not much to do in the local area but it was a lovely relaxing break.
It was a fabulous stay and the owners were incredibly friendly and more than welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend to family and friends!
It was a perfect get away, Tracey was fantastic and so lovely. The accommodation had everything you could possibly need and more. The views were amazing and we would definitely recommend!

This was such an enjoyable break, the area we were in was central for lovely walks, and close to towns. The view from the hot tub was stunning and in the night time peaceful with a fantastic view of the stars. A lovely cosy, clean and warm cottage, with everything you need already there. Would recommend for anyone to stay weather a couple or family, and the owners are friendly and available to help with any questions. We will deffiantly be returning to stay again.
The cottage was lovely and a perfect escape Unfortunately the first day we arrived the hot tub didnt warm up which was a bit disappointing but by the next day it was perfect The WiFi doesnt work but to be honest we quite liked that we couldnt access the internet! The rest of the facilities were perfect
Check in and out times are not to good. Feels like you miss a whole day.

Arrived early at the property, we rang Tracey and because it was all ready tracey was happy for us to use it straight away. Lots of lovely extras waitng for us, including a bunch of roses and a packet of Welsh cakes. The hot tub was gorgeous. Cant wait to go back
Everything was as advertised and Tracey was a very good host. Its a lovely place and we would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet break in the countryside.

Very safe, quiet and peaceful setting to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the surrounding area. Most within easy reach of the property. The hot tub was a great asset to this property. The hosts and the family dog were welcoming and friendly on arrival and we felt relaxed straight away. Then we were left alone to enjoy our holiday. We would of been very happy to contact them if the need had arisen. The cottage was clean, spacious and well equipped for all our needs. A real home from home. First class holiday accommodation in our opinion. Somewhere to return in the future and explore more of the surrounding area as a week just wasnt long enough.
Very much a home from home property. The owners went out of their way to make us welcome.
2nd visit and was as enjoyable as the first and won't be our last. Lovely property and location. Hot tub on the patio overlooking the fields of sheep with Red Kites on the wing great getaway to relax
Me and my girlfriend stayed for 2 nights over valentines weekend, and couldnt of asked for anything better! Spotlessly clean and tidy when arrived and everything you need inside. The hot tub was the big selling point and this did not disappoint! After a long walk it was the perfect way to relax in the evening watching the sun set. Also felt very warmly welcomed when arrived. Definitley planning on coming back very soon!
Fantastic cottage for our family NY break! lovely Christmas tree set up in the living room and a little care package with local produce and Ales. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need. lots of books board games and DVD to choose from. Rooms were beautifully cleaned and beds were extremely comfortable. The hot tub was all set up for us when we arrived and was a dream to come home to after being out walking all day. if you get a clear night please take a minute to look up to the sky the stars are amazing we have never seen so many in our lifes it was absolutely stunning!! forgot to mention the lady who runs the cottages is very nice and will always stop and chat with you and make you feel very welcome. we would definitely come back as the views and location are just perfect!!
Beautiful location. Lively accommodation. Exceptional hosts, lived close by very welcoming but did not interfere at all. Welcome bottle of wine and welshcakes were a nice thought. Hot tub was a bonus. Loved staying at foxes meadow and would recommend.

Had a great stay, the owner went out of her way to make sure we were settled. Some lovely little touches in milk, Welsh cake and wine left for us on arrival. Hot tub really made the break special, it was impeccably clean and water quality checked by the owners throughout our stay. My son loved the other little additions, Xbox 360 and games, plenty of DVDs to watch and family boards games. The accommodations was comfortable, clean and had everything you needed during your stay.
We really enjoyed our peaceful, relaxing stay at Foxes Meadow. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped, with good quality furniture and fittings. The patio area had a fantastic hot tub, and the views from it were very enjoyable. Tracey the host was gracious, friendly, and very helpful. We dined in the local Thai restaurant well worth a visit! and visited Brecon for a boat trip, Hay on Wye quaint book shops etc, and Aberystwth for the sea.
Graham
Fantastic view whatever the weather. Friendly hosts and and within fairly easy reach of many trips out.

Tracey was a brilliant host and it was all the little touches that made it perfect . ....... on arrival essentials were stocked up....... including a bottle of wine and Cake which are always a must ....... The cottage it self was wonderful and hot tub was extremely well maintained and clean....... Just what was needed for a girly retreat
Sylvie
The holiday cottage was exactly as described and beautifully clean and modern. The views were outstanding and fantastic just to gaze and dream, as if miles away from reality. Good amenities and enough space for a small family. Seasonal dcor was minimal but tasteful and ticked all the boxes, we had a most enjoyable stay and could not have been made more welcome by the owners. Would recommend to everyone, don't think you could fail to be happy in this lovely complex, with only four properties on the site, very peaceful as you star watch from the ample sized hot tub. Would go back summer or winter, suitable for every season. Thank you for making our Christmas!
Lovely cottage and kept spotless. Beds extremely comfy and a fantastic hot tub! Milk, wine and cakes were a lovely, thoughtful extra by owners. A little gem!
Tracy the owner was wonderful. Very welcoming. Home made Victoria sponge was amazing. Great views so peaceful. Cottage was very nice.
The owners were very friendly. Provided us with assistance when needed and gave advice on the local area. Made full use of the hot tub.
Rebecca
The hosts were amazing. Anything that you need they are just a stones throw away. When we arrived there was a bottle of wine and a cake on the side which was such a lovely touch and also Milk in the fridge. The views are amazing to.
Robert
The owners of the cottages were friendly and courteous. We really felt well looked after. The views from the rear of the property were spectacular.
The couple who owned the cottage were very kind and made us feel very welcome. They were also very helpful when it came to local walks and went the extra mile by supplying us with a lovely home made cake and bottle of wine on arrival. The cottage was very well furnished and was in a beautiful picturesque location. Would definitely stay again.

The cottage itself is absolutely lovely, it is so homely and comfortable. The kitchen was fab with everything we needed, and the little touches that were left by the owners were so thoughtful. They had left some eggs, a full bottle of milk, wine, Welsh cakes and hot cross buns which were a great touch for Easter. The living room is delightful with the patio doors offering a wonderful view and lots of natural light, and it's very cosy in the evening. We were very comfortable in the double bedroom and there is loads of storage space as well which I haven't found in other places we have stayed. I liked not having to live out of our bags for the whole of our stay! The highlight of this fantastic place though has to be the location and of course the hot tub. The cottage is at the bottom of a lane on the owners farm and is in easy reach of the local village and the nearest town. We even visited Aberystwyth. The back patio of the cottage looks over the owners land where there are sheep roaming freely when we were there, there were lots of lovely lambs who would come up to the fence to visit! I loved it. It's so quiet and peaceful and the views over the hills and landscape are stunning. That brings me to the hot tub though... even though we had cloudy days and it wasn't as warm as we would have liked it, we sure didn't mind that when we got into that hot tub! It was so much fun and so relaxing. The water in the tub was clean and fresh and the owners visit every morning to check it's okay and there aren't any problems. All in all, my fianc and I felt very lucky that we discovered this gem of a place for such an affordable price and hope to visit again with family in the future. Thank you both for making our anniversary stay so wonderful!
