Fantastisch huis met gemak 6 personen. Heerlijk afgelegen Doodlopende weg We gaan zeer zeker terug

Very remote up a narrow country lane, a real home from home comfy cottage. Surrounded by grazing sheep, an array of birdsong, and other wildlife. Beautiful walks from the door (can easily walk up Lord Hereford's knob and back in 3hours including rest breaks) 15mins drive into Hay on Wye, half an hour drive to Brecon and about 45mins to Hereford. Po ol table and table tennis an added bonus. Garden not 100% dog proof. Not ideal for wheelchair users, lots of steps and steep slopes.
James
Lovely property and a fantastic setting to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

This is a stunning period house in a beautiful, wild location. We particularly liked the garden and brook running through it, which is well enclosed so no worry of your dog escaping. Lots of living space and a lovely mix of old and new renovation. Hot tub, although great when hot can frustrating to keep going or have warm when you want it. Youll ha ve a wonderful time here, with hiking from the property and Hay not far away. Only improvement would be the poor mattresses and single beds.
Fran
Hay bluff house is a lovely large welcoming house, we go annually as a family and enjoy it more each year! The hot tub under the stars is great, the enclosed garden is fabulous and good for the two dogs. The kitchen area is spacious and we enjoy cooking there together. There are lovely walks on your doorstep the views are breathtaking. There is a f ull size pool table and table tennis table if you need some entertainment We will definitively keep returning
Nadine
Beautiful location, but be warned of 2 mile single track road to get there. Lots of great facilities on site, everything you need, be aware table tennis and extra logs are in the out house. Not suitable for very young children due to lots of steep stone steps inside and out. Lovely views from the property. Great having an enclosed garden and stream . Hot tub lovely spot, amazing for star gazing, but takes 3 hours to heat and need to change the water for multiple uses. Cleaning could be improved.

Third time staying here. Really lovely place. Hope to be back again. Changes to last time is now there is charge for logs which is totally understandable but the hot tub really gobbles up the supply. Weather was incredible and we had beautiful walks and dips in the waterfall. Recommend wye valley canoe hire for a half day trip down the wye. Diolch, welwn ni chi tro nesa!
Sion
The cottage was lovely and the location was ideal. Perhaps the rate was high due to the hay festival but it was over priced and not quite as nice as the photos suggested. Kitchen, oven and bathrooms were not as clean on arrival as i would expect. Some of the fittings and furniture were not to a high standard yet others were. It was a mixed bag. The internet service into the house was particularly poor and not sufficient for home working or streaming. Would consider returning
Peter
A beautiful house in a beautiful location - our third time visiting. Everything was very clean and well-maintained.
Loretta
A wonderful property, superbly equipped, and, with a bountiful supply of logs we were always warm. The views from the house are breathtaking, plenty of walks across stunning countryside are accessible, and brave the hot tub in the evening, its worth it to see such clear starry skies. The house was perfect for six guests age 81- 17, the pool and tabl e tennis tables were in constant use. A huge amount of game birds surround you at the property, tricky if you have dogs who like to chase!
Mark
Wonderful cottage in a beautiful location . Peace perfect peace! Great walks from the door and the house had so much character.
Helen
We have been staying in cottages every year with friends for the last twenty-five years or so and this is one of the best that we have stayed in. Quite a difficult access road though. Very little to find fault with.
