The spacious area provided ample room for our extended family to relax and spend quality time together. The hot tub was a great addition and used daily by most of the family. The drying room was a brilliant addition. The location couldn't have bee n more ideal for exploring both the scenery and the local towns. Helen and Howell were so helpful and ensured our stay was seamless.

A wonderful holiday home! The place was very comfy and homely, there was lots of space for all 13 (9 adults and 4 kids) of us to relax. The home was clean and there was plenty of bedding and towels for everyone. The hot tub was amazing, just added that extra special touch to the holiday. Our party of 13 people covering an age range of 6 - 70 had a thoroughly enjoyable time staying at Pen Y Glyn Barn. The barn was warm, comfortable and the facilities very good. The hot tub was much appreciated by all members of our group, as were the views of the surrounding countryside & fields full of sheep and lambs. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Despite the weather being poor we managed to get out and about quite a bit - the Brecon Mountain Centre, Libanus is well worth a visit.

Fabulous, very well equipped property for a large party in a lovely, secluded location. The beds were particularly comfortable. The owners were most helpful, but discreet and on hand if required. This place is perfect, lovely quiet location but yet within easy reach of walks, amenities and days out. The barn itself was cosy and had everything we needed for our family holiday to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday, from the games room and outdoor space for the kids to the hot tub and outdoor seating for the adults to relax. The fire pit was a h it also. We had the best time there!

I cannot fault this immaculate barn - a wonderful place to stay for a family get together. We were there for a wedding nearby and the barn provided us with plenty of space and enough bathrooms to allow all 14 of us to be ready on time! The hot tub was an added attraction for those of us with sore heads the next day! The owner, Helen was welcoming a nd kind - supplying an extra set of bed linen as an emergency. We would definitely like to rent this wonderful holiday home again.

We all commented on how good the showers were and the fact the towels were big!! Hot tub was great. Plenty of parking. Owners were welcoming and were easily contactable if needed. Pen-Y-Glyn Barn provides outstanding accommodation for a large group of people. It is furnished and resourced to a very high specification. Our family of fourteen (ages 7 to seventy) enjoyed a fun week of both indoor and outdoor activities including party games, a murder mystery, a quiz, hiking, red kites, and Cantref Fun Park for children. The own ers were exceptionally pleasant. Pen-Y-Glyn Barn is exceptional.

Dinefwr Park and Castle is the perfect place to come if you like the great outdoors. These stunning ruins are one of the areas most iconic landmarks and are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife of all descriptions. There is also a 17th century mansion to explore with grand rooms and wonderful exhibits of paintings and tapestries. The gardens feature amazing floral displays and there is also a delightful Tea Room. Children can let of steam on the adventure playground.

Rhondda Heritage Park - CF37 2NP

Rhondda Heritage Park is located at the former Lewis Merthyr Colliery and is a popular attraction with a range of facilities including a visitor centre, an art gallery, a gift shop, and a lovely period re-constructed Village Street. Fully guided tours are available and include multimedia presentations as well as a unique trip underground where visitors will experience the life of a coal miner. The site also boasts a children's play area and an underground experience zone.

Lama Trekking at Old king Street Farm - NP16 6AA
