Such a fantastic place to stay. The views are beautiful, lovely and quiet. The cottage is fantastic. High quality furniture, accessories and kitchen equipment. This is the second time we have stayed at Upper Bull Pen. It is well equipped and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. We were grateful for the log burner last November and a soak in the hot tub has been very welcome this year after a days walking. The outdoor area makes the most of the views. Lots of walking nearby and interesting tow ns such as Brecon and Crickhowell to explore.

New for 2010 is the Badgers quest interactive maze. Outside there is a play area, large boating lake with paddle boats, nature trails with clues and quizzes and an agility course. Dinefwr Park and Castle is the perfect place to come if you like the great outdoors. These stunning ruins are one of the areas most iconic landmarks and are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife of all descriptions. There is also a 17th century mansion to explore with grand rooms and wonderful exhibits of paintings and tapestries. The gardens feature amazing floral displays and there is also a delightful Tea Room. Children can let of steam on the adventure playground.

Rhondda Heritage Park - CF37 2NP

Rhondda Heritage Park is located at the former Lewis Merthyr Colliery and is a popular attraction with a range of facilities including a visitor centre, an art gallery, a gift shop, and a lovely period re-constructed Village Street.
