About Cherry Tree Cottage

Located at the heart of Atwick, a quaint village that rests near the coast in the East Riding of Yorkshire, lies the charming, detached, four-bedroom holiday home of Cherry Tree Cottage. Boasting off-road parking, an enclosed garden, a good proximity to shops, pubs, and a beach, this delightful property welcomes a large family or group of sharing friends, along with their two well-behaved dogs, for a relaxing, fuss-free escape just south of the magnificent North York Moors National Park.

Inside, you will find a collection of spacious, bright, well-appointed living spaces, including a fully-equipped kitchen, housing every appliance the chosen chefs will need to prepare a delicious, home-cooked meal. Savour your feasts around the sizeable dining table, before you head to the sitting room to enjoy a film on the Smart TV as the space is kept warm and toasty by a woodburning stove tucked into a rustic, brick-built fireplace.

When day rolls into night, head outside to indulge with a dip in the outdoor hot tub, and gaze up as the starry night begins to appear overhead. When sleep calls, head upstairs to retire for a well-earned rest in one of the four bedrooms, including an opulent super-king-size with a wall-mounted TV and an accompanying en-suite shower.

If you can tear yourself from your lovely new base, head out to explore what your local area has to offer. A short car trip south will bring you into Hornsea, where you can stock up on supplies and essentials at one of the several convenience stores located in town, whilst The Victoria Pub, Restaurant & Guest House and the Rose & Crown serve up traditional pub grub for when you and your loved ones need to fuel up ahead of a big day out.

You'll find plenty to do in Hornsea, such as enjoying a peaceful stroll through Hall Garth Park, brushing up on local history at Hornsea Museum, or even just soaking in sea views from the tranquil stretch of Hornsea Beach. During your stay in the region, be sure to explore the Mallyan Spout Waterfall, Grinkle Park, and The Wainstones along with the countless other landmarks and locations scattered throughout the North York Moors National Park.

Cherry Tree Cottage Reviews

Lovely cottage everything needed was available. Hot tub was bonus. Short walk across road for local pub which did lovely meals. Quiet scenic village with nice walks
I was really impressed with the facilities and equipment at Cherry Tree Cottage. I took certain things with us not expecting them to be provided. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious it didnt feel crowded with 7 of us there. I would highly recommend this property, and would like to return. A bigger fridge for the Prosecco would be nice!
Amazing stay, beautiful house and facilities. Very comfortable beds in fact it was a home from home, couldnt have asked for anything more. Just one criticism the steps to the back door could have done with a rail to hold onto we went as a family get together and definitely wasnt disappointed. Lovely village setting with a great pub across the road.

We are back from a week long family holiday at Cherry Tree Cottage and could not be more pleased. Firstly, the cottage is in a brilliant location. A great base for travelling to different places such as Hornsea and Bridlington. This village itself is very quiet, but thats just how we like it. The cottage is beautiful. It is obvious a lot of time and care has been taken into making this such a lovely home from home. The kitchen is brilliant with all the different equipment and utensils you could need, which is not always the case in a holiday home! The bedrooms were all a great size. We were a family of 5 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. The garden is lovely and the hot tub was an added bonus! We met one of the owners Nick who was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There was a hamper left for us on arrival which was a lovely touch. All in all we do not have a bad word to say about Cherry Tree Cottage and we look forward to booking another stay here in the future!
