Bovey Cottage Reviews

Karen
Lovely little cottage, the cottage had everything we needed. Great to have the use of a swimming pool and hot tub.
Derek
Started great with a warm welcome from the owner and lovely scones + cream waiting for us, plus a pint of milk in the fridge. The pool is superb and you effectively have it to yourself. Access to a washing machine too. This is an exceptionally quiet location, and the access lanes - like so many in Devon - are narrow and winding. However the locatioRead moren is so handy for so much - NT properties, the River Dart, dartmoor, Torbay, a choice of steam railways, and unlimited walks. Bovey cottage is small but plenty spacious enough for two, is clean and well-equipped and has TV and adequate wi-fi. Note that there is limited mobile phone signal at the cottage though! Hide

Lovely house, beautiful gardens, orchard and nearby woodland to roam in. Having use of the swimming pool and hot tub on a rota was fantastic. Why holiday anywhere else?

We loved this property and the facilities. Our dog was very chilled and content there. We had the pool to ourselves and spent time in the hot tub looking at the beautiful views over Devon. Lovely cottage, very quiet area. Friendly & welcoming hosts.
Susan
Lovely cottage, had everything I needed and everything worked! And that is not always the case, we've had to do various diy repairs in previous rentals, (not yours) very nice helpful owners living on site. Was a bit too remote for me, the access in and out of Boadhempstone was a bit of a challenge.
Katie
Absolutely beautiful place, accommodation itself and surrounding area, so many lives walks, and its pure bliss and country side! If your looking for a wind down and to completely relax and shut off from everyday life then this is the place for you! In the middle of nowhere, and really picturesque! There is a village pub and shop in walking distanceRead more but a fair few towns 20-30 minutes drive. Owner so lovely and helpful, even made us some cupcakes for our arrival! For a relaxing weekend away from the rat race, it was perfect. Close enough to walk to a pub but far enough to be peaceful and tranquil. A perfect little cottage with everything you need, had 3 nights and it felt like a week, lovely.
